I love baking but my mom never gets to eat what I make bc she doesn’t eat eggs. I felt bad so I made her these as cupcakes and BITCH! These were the best cupcakes I’ve ever eaten!!! I ate 5 and I feel like I’m gonna die but it was so worth it. My mom absolutely loved the cupcakes, she was so happy. And she’s a very picky eater so that’s saying something! Definitely making these again!

Can I just say having now made your recipe, that this cake is right up there with Isa Chandra's vanilla cake and hers has been my go to recipe since I've been vegan, about five years. This is the best vanilla vegan cake recipe I have found. Thank you so much, I thought I would be stuck with chocolate only but now I have a great vanilla cake . Your instructions are great.
I have made this cake several times, either as cake or cupcake or base for your tiramisu. This measurement works perfectly for us. All ingredients are easily found in most kitchens; no special cake flour needed and no special equipment needed to mix. This has become our go to recipe for basic vanilla cake.

I just had to let you know that this cake is delicious, moist, and has a texture like a cake made with eggs and milk. I am so impressed, so thank you! I thought eating as a vegan I would never be able to find a cake that had the texture I was used to before going plant based-this is it!!!!! I did change one thing, and it was using white distilled vinegar instead of the lemon juice or apple cider vinegar because that is what I had on hand. Once again thank you soooooooo much!

I made this for my daughters first Birthday. It was actually the best vegan cake I have ever eaten. I payed $75 for a vegan cake that was not great. This was amazing. I put a little more lemon and it tasted like lemon cake. Delicious.

It Doesn't Taste Like Chicken so I made this today and I have to say, I’m utterly impressed!! It was deliciously moist. I did find it to be a bit too sweet for my liking, but that’s just a personal preference, I will try adjusting the sugar a bit but overall amazing recipe! Thank you love 🖤🖤🖤

I love your energy so much! :)) this was my first time baking as a vegan, and the cupcakes turned out great! I was i afraid that i overmixed, but they look okay (thankfully). I took them out three minutes early after tooth pick checking though, just myown experience. They’re so light, fluffy, and moist! I definitely recommend this recipe. I’m so happy with the end result and it was unbelievably simple !😊

OMG! I made this cake today for a customer as my first vegan cake order and it came out delicious!! Sooo easy too! Thank you!! May I ask what vegan butter you use? I used Country Crock plant butter but the frosting had a slight salty aftertaste.

MADE IT AND IT WAS AMAZING!!! i baked it for my little nefew birthday and everyone demolished it!! The only thing i did was just used a regular vanilla frosting because i didn't have time to make the frosting but the cake was still better than the frosting!!! i'm def gonna make a chocolate version of this next time!! thank u!!

Ive made this so many times! Its in the oven now as well! I reduce the sugar to one cup and also put in baking powder! Today im gonna make it a strawberry cream cake!

I baked this for my birthday!!
It was so good! My brother, who is very critical of my baking, went in for seconds!
I made a few changes though... Only because my fam is asian and western cakes are too sweet for them...
I only added 1 cup of sugar and instead of 1 1/2 cup of milk I added 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup whipped aquafaba.
And for the Icing I used a flour paste/butter cream recipe

Added a little baking powder and vanilla sugar and the whole house smells great. Will make this again and again, thank you❤️
