I am 9 years old and I was recently discharged from hospital so I decide to make a gift to the children’s ward . I made 8 tote bags the nurses in the children’s ward this was such a help thank u!!!!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊
i'm a beginner who has never really made anything before but this is the first tutorial that has actually helped me and i'm so proud of how it came out :) thank you! ❤
I never wanted to be the old lady who was carrying around something she crocheted...yet here I am and I'm loving every second of it. Thanks for the easy and concise tutorial. It's a beautiful bag.
does it matter if you're an old lady carrying stuff around she crochet??? you should not be embarrassed to carry something you spend time, money and efforts on
girlll there's absolutely nothing to worry about!! like what's wrong with being old and having a hobby??? young people have hobbies so why shouldn't old people have hobbies!
Hi!😊 I’m Japanese, and this video is sooo good for me because I’m studying both English and crochet! It’s very easy to understand. I use this video as a listening teaching material too. Thank you!🧶

I JUST FINISHED ONE SQUARE AND IM INLOVE!!! This is gonna take me like maybe a week since I’m very slow and a beginner, but I’m so excited!!!! 4/18 I FINISHED ALL THE SQUARED
I absolutely love how all the hearts are smiling 🥹🥹❤️❤️❤️ this is my favorite pattern I’ve done do far. Instead of a bag, I’m going to sow mine into a blanket ❤

I’ve been doing this for two days and usually I get unmotivated by bigger projects but you made it so simple for me to find motivation to complete it ❤️ thank you :)
He visto como 10 tutoriales distintos en español, este fue el único que incluso con abreviaturas en ingles pude entender. Este proyecto es el primero y gracias a ti, es un lindo proceso ❤
I'm a beginner in crochet and I never comment but I needed to thank you for this absolutely fantastic tutorial!! Truly I was able to follow you along at the same time as the video and that never happens, you were so clear and even if I didn't know what was a quadruple crochet I just saw you do it once and the rest is history, thank you!!! ❤🥹✨
I'm coming here after following and completing this. Honestly!! the best tutorial. Before trying this, I already tried other tutorials for making a bag and failed :( as those tutorials were not for beginners. They skipped a lot of steps just stating or fast forward them. and I'm someone who perfectly needs to see the stich before I try it. I loved how you don't just fast forward or skip the steps and YOU'RE MAINTAINING MY PACE !!! LOVED IT. THANYOUUU SOOO MUCHHH..will definitely try your other videos too...
I’ve been trying to crochet recently (knitted since I was little but never crocheted more than a string) and this was the first tutorial that actually worked for me!! It’s very crinkly but it looks so cute, thank you!
I've done a couple of crocheting projects but never finished them because I did not like how they turned out.I followed your tutorial and modified it a bit so I could make a pillowcase and I absolutely love it!!! Good job with the tutorial, it was so easy to follow and I enjoyed that there was no music in the background 💗🫶
I absolutely love your pattern and I think it’s so cute and easy. HOWEVER… I am crocheting with a thicker weight yarn and I found that the bottom corners with the quadruple crochet were way too loose for the project I had in mind. So to adjust for that, in the first row of white, I started with 2 chains. Then, I did the same pattern as you, but I did each stitch as one smaller than it should be. Here’s how I did that: [stitch from the pattern -> what I changed it to] Quad crochet -> Treble crochet Treble crochet -> Double crochet Double crochet -> Half double crochet Half double crochet -> Single crochet Single crochet -> Slip stitch For the slip stitch at the bottom point of the heart, I just had to do a slip stitch. But I found that decreasing the size of each of my stitches by one really helped to tighten those corners for me, and I am posting this in case anyone else is using a thicker yarn and had the same problem. I continued with the rest of the pattern as you did, and I love the final squares so much. Thank you for this great tutorial!!
I should have checked the comments before!!! I'm almost completely done with my project and since I was using a thick yarn and following the exact same pattern as in the video the square was too big to combine with other squares. I had no use of such a huge bag so I just made that one square bigger and then proceeded to make a similar one and combine them like front and back of a bag. Your idea would have been so helpful 😭😭
did you decrease the stitches for the heart too? or just the white part? I’m using a yarn fit for a 10 mm hook so wondering if this is a good size also or too big for this project
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUU! you have no clue how many tutorials i've watched to make this kind of bag that made 0 sense until i saw yours. You've explained everything so simply and I was able to see how you did it because the quality was sooo good! ly and keep it up! :)
This is exactly what my 18 yr old daughter wants me to make her. I just started crocheting about 3 momths ago, this is a little intimidating for me but, I think I can do.
Its been a while since i dont crochet anything, and now tha im back i saw this tutorial and it was amazing! Thank you so much, you made it so easy to learn and understand, im 13 and love doing crochet❤
Almost done with my bag. Half of the squares I did in all red. I basically used beige and red. I'm going to put a canvas bag inside to line it. I came up short a st a few times in my squares so I'm not an expert at them even yet, but I was able to fudge it so it wasn't noticable. Thx so much! I think it's beautiful.

Hi love the pattern! I just wanted to clarify when making the heart is it a total of 13 double crochets (including the ch 3) or is it a total of 12 double crochets (including the ch 3)?

hello, did you already finished your project? :)
I never wanted to be the old lady who was carrying around something she crocheted...yet here I am and I'm loving every second of it. Thanks for the easy and concise tutorial. It's a beautiful bag.
does it matter if you're an old lady carrying stuff around she crochet??? you should not be embarrassed to carry something you spend time, money and efforts on
girlll there's absolutely nothing to worry about!! like what's wrong with being old and having a hobby??? young people have hobbies so why shouldn't old people have hobbies!
you shouldn’t be embarrassed! Crotcheting is actually trending right now and alot of young ones are learning it like me! never be ashamed :)
I’m 24 and I love to crochet🤷🏽♀️who cares what anyone else thinks or has to say about it
Hi!😊

I am still doing my 5th granny sqare . They all look so good. I am sure this will be a great bag. This videos instruction were just perfect.
It’s very crinkly but it looks so cute, thank you!
lol the squares looked kinda uneven anf crinkly for me too, but when theyre sewed together it looks nice

loved this video, no annoying background music, clear instructions, and barely any skipping. thank u for this amazing tutorial!!
This was the best tutorial for me. Explaining everything step by step while seeing physically it being done 😭💗
I've done a couple of crocheting projects but never finished them because I did not like how they turned out.I followed your tutorial and modified it a bit so I could make a pillowcase and I absolutely love it!!! Good job with the tutorial, it was so easy to follow and I enjoyed that there was no music in the background 💗🫶
i want to make it a pillow too,help how i do it?🙂

I absolutely love your pattern and I think it’s so cute and easy. HOWEVER… I am crocheting with a thicker weight yarn and I found that the bottom corners with the quadruple crochet were way too loose for the project I had in mind.
So to adjust for that, in the first row of white, I started with 2 chains. Then, I did the same pattern as you, but I did each stitch as one smaller than it should be. Here’s how I did that:
[stitch from the pattern -> what I changed it to]
Quad crochet -> Treble crochet
Treble crochet -> Double crochet
Double crochet -> Half double crochet
Half double crochet -> Single crochet
Single crochet -> Slip stitch
For the slip stitch at the bottom point of the heart, I just had to do a slip stitch.
