I just finished two squares but I will update to let you know when I finish. Thank you for this tutorial because I can actually make something for myself. I find that I am always making things for other people but I can finally make something for myself so thank you😃

Hey update, when I went to Michaels they didn't have the exact white yarn I used so instead I just got this glittery white yarn instead. I made a lot more squares the same day. And then I finished the tote during vacation in Calgary. I love this tote bag and now I bring it everywhere. Thank u so much for this tutorial. I wish I can show u the tote bag because I am so proud of myself for making it.

@@Qandeelsheikh-wz5etI think it just depends on the yarn, if you are using firm/stiff yarn then it will hold its shape but if you use stretchy yarn then it will most likely stretch a little bit. If you constantly put heavy things in the bag then it will stretch and expand over time :)

For I am a beginner, this was a bit tricky, so if your a beginner I recommend changing the setting of the speed of the video to make it slower, it definitely helped me. But if you don’t have the time I don’t recommend it, it took a lot of time for me and I still don’t full understand it + I haven’t even finished because of how bad of a crocheter aha.

I would definitely want a liner inside this bag as to not get stuck on the loose yarns.

@@QueenWomackkeep going i did a first try as a practice. And now I’ve almost finished the bag in green and white for a birthday present ( for info it’s my first real project so if I can do it you definitely can) so yeah you can do it !!
I had to take a row out and i lost count of how many times I’ve tried this. All of her hearts looks different and the pattern is different than the video. Anyway just keep changing things until u get it.

I like the pattern, I however did single crochet and passed my hook under booth loops rather than going through the back loops only. I prefer a flatter and cleaner design, but thank you for sharing the pattern.

Sew a lining of the inside of the bag with a piece of cloth and you so t have to worry about stretching do it by hand or a sewing machine because the yarn on the inside is going to get caught on something and break

I used the same yarn she had which is weight 4 and i probably used about a 2/3s of each skein

Hey I have a question, I have chains on the top of the square but on the side it’s all ribbing. How am I able to connect the squares side by side with ribbing?

Sorry if this is late but you can use any yarn as long as you use the corresponding hook. Just look on the packaging to see what size hook. :)
