As a 2000 CR-V owner myself, I'd like to point out a couple of things you forgot to show. Under the carpet in the rear cargo area, is a storage compartment. The cover for this compartment is also a table. Unlatch it, remove it and it has legs that fold out. The tray bottom of the storage compartment is also removable via 4 quick release fasteners. Under that, is the jack and lug wrench. There is also an 2nd 12 volt power outlet on the left side. Oh yeah...........and it's an SE, not an EX-L. No EX-L was offered for the 1st gen CR-V's.
Mine is exact, but an'01. I bought it in 2005.....watching this is making me remember the times mine looked this good.....I didn't even remember that the window was a one click down/up.....(not no more!) Love mine...think I'll go deep clean it. :)
@@fordmustang98guy Oh yeah, I sure do! Its in need of some (a lot) of things...but I am gradually getting them done... When I bought it, there were only 41k miles on it & I paid $15k (plus 3yrs interest) And it looked exactly like this one, but tinted windows, luggage rack and a hitch. Buying it was one of the few times that I didn't listen to financial advice and I have never once regretted it! I was told to buy brand new/ generic car for equal or little less value.....which I thought was ridiculous. Why would I pay so much for a vehicle that wouldn't even have power windows or locks (grrr) let alone be practical to me for general use? I couldn't care less above having the "newest" anything...So, I did my homework, quite a bit really....bought a couple consumer reports vehicle review editions and went from there. I knew I wanted 4wd, tow pkg, luggage rack, tinted (& power) windows, good gas mileage, relatively cheap parts and an above-average resale value! Ta-da!
Yes, you are the 1st person I have heard use the term oh shit handle/bar lol my bestfriend he introduced me to it back in the 90s when I was learning to drive in my Tracker! Awesome 🤙
Way better of a a gear shifter than that 2nd gen on had. Why did they bother putting it on the dash instead of column. It basically had the same grip handle as this one too.
Hi I have a 2000 Honda CRV and it has trouble idling and pings when you accelerate which im told its because the timing is to far advanced can someone please explain how I adjust the timing thanks
Lorraine Potter I recommend you take it to a shop. But if your want to do it, take the timing belt cover off then remove the belt and put it back on in the right spot. You may cause damage if you keep driving it without getting it fixed
3 months back when i first watched this video i didnt have a CRV, now i have one, what a blessing... life
Kabelo Nthobatsang what year is your CR-V?
@@fordmustang98guy 2000, still fresh though, second hand from Japan. The Japas really know how to keep their cars in good shape.

Frig I miss my old 2000 EX.
What you said about the CRV is correct
These things are cheaper than cheap on gas. And it also comes with a free picnic table!
You should said as saabkyle04: starts up perfect!

I like the 1st gen due to this, it also seems better to me this gen looks wise too.
Nice
Hello can i ask what the dimensions of this crv car?Thank you
2000 Honda CR-V EX 4WD
Rust on the wheel arch, you have to know the inside is rusted badly! Because I just spend 3 days welding the inside wheel arches. It was bad!
1:34 that’s a loud horn!

There is a portable table in the way back under the carpet.

How Much Did They Want For It?
I have one
Not every day a vehicle with a column shifter would have a hand brake for the e-brake instead of the foot-pedal e-brake...
My mom has one with 500 000km on it then we got a hilander
Finn Campeau is it still running ?? Or at least was it?
timing belt replace soon
It's a Honda CR-V se there was no exl at the time
How come no one opens the back up. This asshole is so stubid. Lets see air works omg. Open back stubid???
This video is terrible..
