It's so wonderful that you were able to go to Banff with your friend and that you've been keeping in touch for so long! All friendships need work and I admire both of you for the love and communication you've put into yours.
What kind of person did you envision yourself becoming before?
Hmm... how do I feel about the changes in me?
I used to be content. At least that's what I thought. But it was more just letting others be happy and tagging along. Now it feels like I'm wanting a bit of my own happiness and there's a strange discomfort to it.
P.S. Sitting in a stroller while somebody pushes us around. The accuracy of those words... Are you sure that you don't want to add writing to your pursuits? Because your imagery is 👌

Definitely! Loving ourselves first takes a lot more work/effort than I thought it would.
My childhood dream was to be a writer, so words are important to me too.🤓
