Jeff Beck is one of the greatest Rock & Blues guitarists of all time. Go back to The Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart 2 albums with Rod. Not only did l see Jimi Hendrix but l met Jeff Beck twice in the seventies. He actually thanked me for coming to both shows. He's as humble as he is talented. I'm Beck's biggest fan and play at least 50% of his 🎵 songs. Keep Rockin' ✌ watch that entire video of that concert!!!! Will blow you away.!!!!!!

I saw Jeff do a tune once where he NEVER plucked a string with his right hand... all sounds derived from when his left hand clutched the strings, the volume knob, or the tremolo bar (which I gather you folks call a whammy bar)... but I forget the name- any readers know this? Peace from Canada.

Great reaction. What about doing that concert, this piece was taken out of. The piece before this was “Stratus”, originally done on a great Billy Cobham album which had Tommy Bolin on guitar. Another piece is “A day in the life”, they all exhibit great playing. The great drumming by Vinnie Colaiuta and Jason Rebelo on keyboards. Of course Tal Wilkenfield on bass was outstanding, such a positive vibe to the band and that smile after the solo. The concert was Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott’s 2008. First time viewer, I’ll be back.

Liked your intro pickin Devon...As a guitar player you only have two things you can do after seeing-hearing Jeff play...You can get inspired and practice every minute of every day or you can just stick your guitar in the closet and wind up working in a gas station.
Tal is one of my top 3 bassists but with her being so easy on the eyes she is probably my favorite.

Stevie Wonder wrote this tune. He has the composer credit anyway, I think Jeff might have had a hand in there. Jeff was in on the Superstition riff too. And he wails all over Lookin' For Another Pure Love on Talking Book. Stevie says "Do it Jeff" on the track. It's real good.

Great reaction thanks! I just subscribed. agreed on all points regarding Jeff and Tal. I saw Jeffa few times but once in the front row and I kept having to pick my jaw up off the floor. This was the Who Else tour in 1999 at the Chicago Theater. When I first heard the Who Else release I was taken aback and not in good way. I thought what in the world is he doing with this industrial electronica sound? When I saw it live I "got it!" It was the perfect type of vehicle for Jeff's playing. Cause We've Ended As Lovers is dedicated to Roy Buchanan on Blow By Blow. It would be awesome to see you react to Roy. The Messiah Will Come Again is a signature tune from his first Polydor album but there are many others. since you are a blues guy I think Jeff's Brush With The Blues tune would be a great reaction.

Decades ago I was shopping with my wife at a sharper image store. And there was this music playing in the background and I asked a store clerk what is that? And I made them go look it up to try to see what it was and they said it was Jeff Beck and the album was blow by blow. I went on a quest to find that and when I finally did it became one of my favorite albums of all time. For some reason I was just sitting around and this Jeff Beck song came to mind and I thought, I wonder if anyone's done a reaction to this? So I looked up Jeff Beck reactions and down the list there was this song. Your reaction. You didn't even have to say a word buddy. That blues guitar and you just showing that you're one of us that loves the sound. I didn't even need to hear a word you said but thank you for your reaction to this great song. New sub out of the blue. Lol. Take care and thank you.

One gee-tarist to anudder: Nice intro, brahhh: dig them echoes of a Hiram Bullock, Greg Howe, Jimi-Ahhh-yah-Know -Who, Eric Gales, yup; and a bit of the Jeff Beck-ster hizzself. Do I hear just a smidge of hiz Prince-ness? Ride, indeed. Nice. Ahhh, that Jeff Beck, so tasty, so cheeky, so phunkafied and angular for the angles. Dig it. Yah, Beck's got great tone and melody, though Joe Pass, Stanley Jordan? Pretty farkin' amazing. Re-check out George Harrison's Marwa Blues (or the George Harrison-Alvin Lee exchange on The Bluest Blue). Yeah, Beck nails it here, and given some of the great instrumental works out there (some of which I just proposed), Beck's achievement is all the more...moving. By the way, re-check out Rhonda Smith's bass playing for Jeff Beck--she also played behind Prince, and with Jeff the Beck-ster, she BRINGS 'y'it, no Scatterbrains 'bout it.
