      We are so happy that you feel renewed. Do you have sciatica or piriformis syndrome? We would love to hear more about your experience and maybe your comment will resonate with someone here who has a similar condition. These practices work well over time, so continue to practice the Somatic Movement Flows that align with your anatomical area of focus. Feel free to share more after a few weeks. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Have a great week ahead.

      Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the feedback on our style of teaching. What sets GSY apart from other styles of yoga and other somatic practices is how we teach our practitioners to share the practice with their students. We look forward to hearing more about your journey with this practice and how we can be part of your Somatic Wellness lifestyle.

      @@cinmac3 I'm sorry to hear you injured yourself and experiencing discomfort. Since I do not know of your condition, it is difficult for me to reccommend anything. As well, you'd need your doctor's permission. Once you are able to move safely, it might be possible to explore small and slow movements while in bed. And, also, it could helpful to explore just visualizing the movements without pysically doing them. It is important to not do movements that cause you pain or strain. I hope you feel better and get well soon.

      Hi Anna! Sorry for the delay in this response. We had some great shifts in our operations when you commented and as a result missed this opportunity to connect until now. Have you continued to practice daily as you intuited for yourself? We would love to hear the results. Continued practice is the best way to go and we do have some classes that focus specifically on sciatica on our Somatic Wellness TV channel over here: www.gentlesomaticyoga.com/somatic-wellness-tv/

      This is a powerful video and a part of the body that gives many people trouble. We are happy that you found it useful and so sorry that this comment got lost until now. Have you continued to explore other movements and have you practiced this same video with any regularity since first discovering it? We would love to hear about your long-term results or invite you to come back to the practice.

      Please pardon the delay in our response. Without knowing more about your daughters overall health, it is hard to respond to inquiries like this. The best advice for now is to provide more specifics about her lifestyle, health specs, and goals and we can move forward from there. The other best way to contact us is through the website -- where you can both fill out a contact us form or set up a session with James for your daughter. You can learn more here:

      Hello. Pardon my delay in getting back to you. I just saw your comment now and I'm sorry you had an adverse affect. I'm wondering if you did less of a movement (cut it back by 80%) if that could benefit you? I know how easily any kind of movement can aggrivate sciatica. Here is a list of tips and guidelines if you chose to continue to explore GSY. Please reach out if you have any questions education@gentlesomaticyoga.com, James www.gentlesomaticyoga.com/tips-and-guidelines-for-somatic-yoga/

    What if one leg is too painful to do this?

    • @gentlesomaticyoga
      @gentlesomaticyoga  Год назад +3

      Never push past pain or strain. You can either modify (do less of a movement, go slower, or just visualize), use props, or omit the one side for now. James
