My family's favourite snack that I find very tricky and make it only once a year for ramadan. I follow the same recipe but never added the potato. I will try it now. My mixture usually becomes too soft to shape after adding the egg, and then I have to add bread crumbs for binding.

We make it in almost the same way. But we add 1 onion and ginger garlic paste too while boiling. Another tip: If you add rice flour in the mixture after boiling and grinding, it gives a very crispy texture.
