@@offthegriddownunderaustral8814 we have 3/4 of the roof on. Just had a hip replaced so still recovering. Just a couple of sections to ram and then the rest of the roof goes on and windows & doors in. I'll send you some pics.
Thanks Mate, the cook and the daughter have gone on a holiday I have look after Muriel, but resting. I might have a some stuff you might need that I don't need anymore.
Go through the earlier vids there is one on the Lintels it is on the first Donga early days a lot of learning on that Donga I have since beefed them up a bit.
Great job I must say mate, well done, steel trusses and tin roof and it'll pretty much be close to bush fireproof. Relax and have a great Chrissy, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family from me and mine. Seeya Rob
Great work mate! Keep up the hard work! Keep the videos coming. Please if you can, set up the camera while you are working and do a time lapse so we can see the process. I really like what you are doing!!! 👍
Well done. It looks great. You're a real inspiration to me to start with my own project in the next year or two. Will you be doing any more updates on the rest of the build? I'm particularly interested in the roof and roof insulation and any issues you might have and how you solve these problems. Likewise with door and window frames.
I really like the aesthetics of this type of construction, however I am a little concerned about its ability to withstand earthquakes, and Chile is not uncommon to have earth movements of scale 7 (Richter).
👍 looks great
Merry Christmas
Incredible!

Have u seen the greatbwall of China. It survived how many quakes yet it was partly built like this
I love everything about rammed earth except the forms that leave holes in the walls. It just ruins the look
