Making Of Spent Casing Coasters in Resin / Empty Ammo Casing

Resin Coasters with spent casings and metallic resin base. See how these are made from the top down.
I decided to do a larger project with resin. This time I wanted to suspend spent casings in resin and make coasters out of them. This project took several days because of the drying time between the layers. There were 3 pours in total; 2 clear and 1 metallic grey. The casings are spent steel casings from us or found. We had to do a lot of cleaning before they were usable and unfortunately, I did not record that part. Some are rusting on the inside to the casings were sealed with hot glue to prevent the rust from getting into the resin and the save on the amount of resin needed. This is the first ones I have ever made and I love the way they turned out and I plan on making more. They will be available in my shop soon.
