Highly disagree. It's an absolute joke of a game and I walked away super disappointed. Compare that to the amazing pc version and this is just a super simplistic and awkward racing game in comparison. I wish it was like the pc version but with psx graphics of course.
I mean they're kinda shit, V Rally 2 is on the same engine and looks miiles better, I remember barelling down the corner in this nfs not being sure which way the arrows point until the last second lol
Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed on PSX and Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed on PC have only music and 3,2,1 go in common. everything else is different game, from phisics,graphics,cars,gameplay/carrier..pc game was awesome at time, best till than in overall(bit bitter is now seeing some other porsche models that was not included heh) , pcx version seems great as well, arcadish,but good in own way.. i will have to download some emulator and pass it one day..i believe different studios made them despite same name.
For the 968 Trophy... better have a class 3 car. You don't want that class 1. You will suffer. No joke. Unless you cover that car all the race that doesn't use the 968 Turbo... like here. Good driving.

This game become more or less broken during Modern Era. If one just collect newer more powerful Porsches for the tournaments it becomes childplay. Also the damages becomes a non issue when one can just do the GT1 race over and over again for unlimited cash. Isn't it funny? A side quest offers more money. Good thing the PC version is so much better.
@@isa270991 You don't actually have to sell any vehicle since you get tons of cash for doing one race in the GT1. I ended up with all car models in the garage.
This game was freaking awesome! I remember playing this as a kid. One of my favorite racers on PSX.
