Them writing Barbie is to what Phil Lord and Christopher Miller writing The Lego Movie. In a way Barbie could've been a cash grab disaster but in the hands of Greta and Noah as writers, they could bring something interesting and unique out of this material like the same way Lord and Miller brought Lego Movie to the big screen
