I injured my knee while crawling on hard surface yesterday. Intense pain without popping or locking. I could bend and straighten knee but weight baring while knee slightly bent forward an inch is very painful, unable to walk due to it. I have full range of motion without pain, I can bend knee up to chest and lower without any pain. I can twist legs sideways, no pain. The only pain I feel is when I'm standing and bend the knee forward (Slightly lower myself) an inch, that's when pain appears. If I continue the bending further, it goes away. I could squat in position and raise back up without pain, except that one spot as I slightly bend the knee about an inch while baring weight (this move does not hurt if I do it while in bed). When I palp with my thumb at inner side of knee, about an inch or so away from knee as shown in your video where bones meet next to the soft spot, I feel pain as I push deep, this is the only test that hurts. What do you thing? sounds like a tear? If not better by tomorrow I shall go to a doctor. Thank you for your video!

Evidence??? There are MANY possible false positives with all 3 of these tests. For example a moderate effusion for any reason will be painful with full flexion during Duck Walk or simple bending and joint space tenderness could be coronary lig, MCL or just from the effusion that the patient can't differentiate.
If all the doctors will be like you in the first instance, there will be far fewer people in pain and healed as soon as possible, but unfortunately, most of them are afraid to do their job properly. I don't get it, they just prolong your pain for more than 15 or 20 years in some cases, giving you painkillers till knee replacement comes. Of course, after you reach the age of 65.

How did you tear it?
@@DIYRealestatematchmaker Sorry you had that tear. Its awful. 😭 My right knee/ medial meniscus was torn when I picked up a bag of dirt from the back of my SUV. (yard planting) I lifted, turned my upper body without also turning my legs. That did it! I ended up with stress fx of tibia and medial meniscus torn all the way down to the root. Talk about pain. 😭 5 weeks ago, I was Spring cleaning, I lifted a picture off my fireplace mantle- not that heavy - but I repeated the same motion as last time. I lifted the picture (xLarge ) twisted upper body, not my legs and bang! It happened again on left knee/leg! 😭🥺Can't walk now except a few steps.👩🦼 Having a power chair delivered. I also cracked my patela. 😲 So I won't be lifting pictures or bags of dirt again. Lots of swelling & pain set in... I will have to just heal the best I can. But staying home watching TV all day gets old fast. A power chair will help me get around. I should mention the 1st tear happened 5 yrs ago.

The Duck Walk test looks like an absolute disaster waiting to happen ! That could easily cause futher damage to the knee joint .
Yep. I have a tear. Confirmed. All 3. Go 20 more years with it?
Well sounds like I have a problem all three of those hurts me
These movements will cause additional unnecessary damage if you have a meniscus injury.
Evidence??? There are MANY possible false positives with all 3 of these tests. For example a moderate effusion for any reason will be painful with full flexion during Duck Walk or simple bending and joint space tenderness could be coronary lig, MCL or just from the effusion that the patient can't differentiate.
this tests might even generate meniscus problems to a person that have other issues already

How to cure a meniscus damage

Just watching this hurts my knee. I think it’s torn.
My tests are positive
Duck walk determines everything
I cant do a duck walk, i can barely get up off the couch..
Duck walk is easy ? 😂 I can't bend either of my knees low enough !
i heard a click on the second test along with pain.
The goodlege is in pane
When you are so swelled up and stiff you can't even bend your knee . Yeah can't test this way for awhile
This is useless video, all the test failed but MRI showed it and than my surgery confirmed it as well.
I mean if I press that hard on any place of my body I feel pain 😅
Oh I m Positive 🙄
If all the doctors will be like you in the first instance, there will be far fewer people in pain and healed as soon as possible, but unfortunately, most of them are afraid to do their job properly. I don't get it, they just prolong your pain for more than 15 or 20 years in some cases, giving you painkillers till knee replacement comes. Of course, after you reach the age of 65.
