This nothing new, when I joined my first ship in 1969 (British Merchant Navy) she wasn't a new ship but fitted with stabiIisers, as were severaI of the ships I served on. In Iater years I served on tankers, buIk carriers, generaI cargo ships etc, these were not (and stiII not) fitted with stabiIisers. If you're going to make a video about stabiIisers at Ieast get your facts right, stabiIisers have been around for at Ieast the past 60 years.
Cargo ships do not have such active stabilizers and never have had them. This is only for passenger ships. Cargo ships can be equipped with passive stabilizers (these are flat longitudinal ribs under water along the side. One on each side)
i am both thrilled and exhilirated
Apparently this script was written by an intern.
No...AI
New technology for the Hugh ocean ships .... It's great nevigation !.
Very genius idea, really extraordinary idea from the best engineer, very useful notification, thank you for the video...👍
Really great innovation. 😊😊😊😊
a great idea. beautiful ships

They remind me of like a Canard wing on an airplane.
The RMS Queen Mary was fitted with Stabilisers in 1958.
I dare that ship to venture into "uncharted waters".
🤣🤣🤣
Amazing tecnology !
Not a new thing. Been around since at least the early '60s.
Most cruise ship have those to avoid passengers to become sick during their voyage
you re combining diffent subjects together..thr adress was about active fin stabilizers..not steering and othet matters
These fins and stabilizers aren't enough. The ship needs boyance

Das wäre doch was für die Formel 1 😊
PAS NOUVEAU - LE PAQUEBOT FRANCE OU L ILE DE FRANCE AVAIT DEJA CE TYPE D EQUIPEMENT !!!
WHO writes these scripts?
I'm pretty sure it was a last minute attempt for a freshman creative course.
Write?
Cargo/container ships do not have stabiliser... Only 20+ crew per ship, maybe not worth the drag that stabiliser put on fuel consumption
Generic information about only obvious technology, if you call it that. I want testing and all the iterations before. Give me the nitty gritty.
It took them 15 min to say 5 min of info. What you are asking for would be a 7-Part Series of 1 hr each.
🌟
🥰🥰🥰
Yes that commentary is just a lot of bullsh.t !
Why aren't the nav shipyards making these vessels? They know how to engineer the stability for rough seas
fluc this
Das ist eine Idee die schon 60 Jahre alt ist und auch schon vor 60 Jahren in Schiffen verbaut wurde
