  • Experience the daily challenges and adventures of running a sheep and cereal cropping farm in Victoria, Australia with our latest farm vlog episode. In this episode, see the daily tasks involved in running a sheep and cereal cropping farm as we feed the old sheep headed to the sale yards, talk Merinos back to their paddock, and discuss the issue of fly-blown sheep.
But that's not all, we also come across a wallaby that has been hit by a car and check her pouch for any surviving joeys. Watch as we sort the Merinos into old and young, check their teeth, and ear tag the crossbreds before loading them onto the truck.
This video provides a valuable education on the ins and outs of sheep farming, animal husbandry, and the important work of ensuring the health and wellbeing of all livestock.

When I was a teen living in Virginia in the USA, my family came across an opossum which had been killed by a train hitting her head. When we first saw her we thought she was breathing, but it was 7 babies moving in her pouch. We took the babies home with us, raised them up and released them in another park. They are very interesting critters, but aren't pet material. They are are important for controlling ticks on a rural property.

Please look up the actual research. This myth has been well-looked into more recently. Opossums don't eat ticks. The myth has no actual scientific basis at all.

Everyone should know about real life . Someone said hunters don't need to hunt because it's animal cruelty. And everyone can go to the grocery store to get meat . Happy you checked the pouch .

Not my pet sheep they're all still out in the paddock living their best lives lol.
Hopefully, they'll wash them and return them, I doubt they have any 10-year-olds that are small enough to fit them 😂😬
And yes I agree with the new tagging system, as long as you get it in the cartilage it doesn't even bleed!

I've never had a reason to mute your content EVER like a lot of others, thanks

At the risk of being accused of stalking...
Where do you live (i don't care what part of Australia)? On the farm, in a nearby town?
Do you cook your own big meals and do you have mates in house to spend off time with? Does Typo live with you? Are you in the field every day of the week? Are there many young women doing your job in the region?
You show us your occupation very well but I'm clueless about the rest of your lifestyle. As a big city raised boy, I cannot imagine the rest of your existence.
