My first BEV was a Citroen Electrique first registered in 2004, it whetted my appetite for electric vehicles.
Nice review and video. However I have spent the last six months at least trying to get a test drive in one of these, and there ain't none out there. I want to replace my 2017 BMW i3 full electric, as I need more space for the sports equipment you mention. Wing Foil boards, Wings, Mountain bikes, that type of thing. Also you mention its great for the price, but don't mention the price? It certainly would benefit from a 70kwh battery too.
Yes, the larger battery would be really much more useful.
Do you not feel the pitch was over scripted and you had to like it because you are being paid to?
You said it your self it's cheap plastic inside and has the most useless range because of the small battery...
Useless as a 7 seater, I wouldn't even consider it.
Hey Tony - Paddy here, we are not paid to like any car - there is a real lack of 7-seat EVs and this is a decent one. The range is limited, and I said if you can live with that it will work for you.
@@TheAAie hiya paddy, don't get me wrong it's a nice looking van, but it was when its said "ya could live with the cheap interior because of the price of the van" (before the mention of the multi function steering wheel). Thats where ya lost me. The new dacia is 26k for the highest model (altho not EV) so its better bang for buck. I liked the review of this as I'm looking for a new 7 seater, but making excuses for it was annoying to watch. Call it what it is, a cheap but good way into EV if you do very little mileage..
@@TeaLan87 can't really compare this with a non electric vehicle.
