Thanks Bruce, well I like your load of all b**ll*cks stuff, yes an engineer all my life change oil n filter top of the jobs regularly, I have a hunter and a 350 bullet I change oil probably too much, I also have a Citroen Picasso’s 1.6 HDI, I change oil n filter every 5k , now at 90k mls sweet as a nut n 65 mpg , you keep at it me old tater, it’s what keeps us happy, thanks again for another down to earth vid Ted, North West biker dude
Season feels like it's changing soon Bruce 👍 I'm sure your bikes got decades in it yet too, even if it's like Triggers broom and has had loads of new parts, bits for these bikes will be easily and cheaply available for a long time, bike for life!
You got that right! We will run these bikes for years Glyn! Spare used engines, used extras, pads filters cables all be available for years to come, These could be the last air cooled motors! I just need another two! One in RAF blue and one full desert sand 😜👍
I feel that we are already entering into autumn 😢 My cold feet are starting up again😢 Gotta love your mum. I lost both parents during my long recovery. Very good point totally agree these bikes, smiles by the miles! I have no confidence to do maintenance, I would bugger something up, that would put me in a mega bad mood😂 Your very right re your bulk purchase of service parts. I got oil n filter done at about 1400 miles after it was run in. Strangely enough, I checked oil level yesterday, and it was just above the minimum mark.😮 shouldn’t use oil?? Keep up the good work Bruce. Oh seen a MT 07 that’s been lowered, want to go Kirkcaldy to try for size. (For the future)😂 🤔 maybe It’s not a load o shite film……❤it
Hi Mark 😜😁ha ha i was just waffling away along the ride once home and uploaded it 😂🤣 Aye your bike should not use oil, just top it up when cold and sure it will be ok 😁👍
Hi, yes the bike has the Hitchcocks full stainless exhaust, baffle is in, also the DNA free flow air filter and stage 2 airbox end give the bike a louder induction noise, also the Performance camshaft alters the tone of the engine slightly 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
It makes me laugh Bruce, when people who ride high tech bikes whinge about service intervals and how all bikes should be shaft drive or have belt drive instead of those "horrible messy chains " and what a chore it is to adjust and oil them , the same people who get their bikes out once a month on a sunny Sunday and do about fifty miles , for me working on your bike and knowing it, is all part of the connection and enjoyment of riding it and enjoying it . Glad Starmers not affecting your life up there , but the less we mention him the better eh! some one will be knocking on your door ! 😅😅 enjoy your weekend , I've enjoyed your "basic load of shite film " 😂😂 cheers Mel
Aye you enjoy your weekend too Mel, all go for me today between showers, Drone film over NB Law first thing, then Short Jeep run to NB, now going out on the Warhorse despite windy again, sunny between the showers blowing through 😁👍🏴
On the question of maintenance, I envy anyone who can do their own valve clearances, brake pads etc but that isn't me I'm sorry to say! You've either got the know how or you haven't.

Hi Ted thanks 😁
Great And this time I havbe the headphones on! So I listen to the delicious basses of that great engine 😃
😜😁👍👍
As an old boy said to me a long time ago, the cheapest thin to replace in your engine is the oil. Nice ride out.
Great point! Thanks frank 😁👍
Always good to get out. 😎🥃
Defo Lance! 😁🥃👍
