Also, I met a real rich person in China, she didn't even want to buy a Bentley so she wouldn't be robbed or draw too much attention to her. Also, she would never say she owned multiple homes. I never believe people showing off like that in the internet.

I am not a millionare but I am close. Meanwhile my outfit are mostly jeans and t-shirts. I never made over $55k a year. I got that money by saving by not buying things I do not need. When you get older you just realize it is all just stuff, and stuff is not what make you happy. However security is a big deal to be in a place where you are not worrying all the time about paying basic bills. I never replace something until it is good and broken and does not work. I still have a 30 years refrigator in my home. It works, so it stays.
@@JAM661 Old refrigators consume a lot of electricity, you should take that into account and see if a modern one with cheap electricity is better for you. If you have cheap electricity then there is no problem
Old money does not talk about money because the youngsters dont know much about it and therefor would often make a fool of themselves if they did talk about.
You're right, I know quite a few millionaires and most dress in clothes that should be in the bin. I knew a Vietnamese guy who wore a 40 year old pink and green cardigan and people kept telling him to throw it out. He had $2 million just in the bank, 2 houses and 5 shops. The ONLY give-away was a Mercedes-Benz and he was so short he could barely see over the steering wheel.
Wealthy people do not need to show off.
I mean, if showing off as fake rich is what makes them actually rich, then more power to them. People who get duped by internet celebrities only have themselves to blame.

Chinese ones admired by locals do, western ones know to be humble and not to show off or face public backlash hurting their brand.

My uncle is among the 1%, still cooks his own food, and is very humble.
