Agreed, because some people already would run the fuck out of my team with rein when they really knew what they were doing, now it’s gonna be even crazier but he’s a respectful character with a skillful move set so I’m okay with it
Hopefully it’s enough. He was the worst tank in the game by far prior to these buffs. Except perhaps in really low ranks

Gotta say this map in overcast pretty much sums up a lot of my experiences at theme parks. Every time I get to go to one mother nature decides that's the week it rains every day.
Now that Rams ult is nerfed they should really make it so if you’re in nemesis form and you ult, your armor goes back up to the normal starting amount instead of having to cancel and start it again
Maybe it’s so there is more time to stun and damage during the transition but idk, would be a nice QOL change

People love to flame rein mains cause he doesn’t play like any other tank and people just don’t understand that YOU GOTTA FOLLOW BIG BOY IN AND HELP HIM. It’s really hard to deal with a good rein that has a team that follows up on his aggression and keeps him healed up
I am so grateful for the perfect timing rein buffs. I am a dps cree main but I broke a bone in my right wrist making me unable to aim on a hitscan level in diamond lobbies. rein is pretty much the only thing ive been able to play snd ive been doing great! so far this season I am 9-2 on tank games and for the first time ever I have got my tank past diamond all on 3400 dpi lol.

I don’t think they’re right, rein doesn’t counter doom at all. He counters other brawlers, dive tanks work well against him because they can just escape him. Actually, I don’t think rein really counters anything. He’s just a decent tank.

Not gonna lie, I was looking in your channel for this exact video with you playing tank with seagull, so thanks for the perfect upload this is exactly what I was looking for
I only play ranked with my partner, who has never really played games like this before, so both sit around gold (she should probably be a little lower, I should probably be a little higher).
I've been a Rein main since day1, I switch it up if he's severely out of the meta but even then he ends up as my comfort pick (and "meta" in gold means something a little different...).
I love playing Rein, he just feels like the epitome of a space taking tank, but more than that I LOVE playing Rein INTO another Rein. By far my favourite OW1 meta was "the entire fight depends on who wins the Rein battle, pin or be pinned".
So for me I don't really care if Rein is good or not for me, I'll end up playing him regardless, but I LOVE when Rein is meta just because you end up playing Rein AGAINST Rein much more often, and that just fills me with joy :)

How do I report a bug? Yesterday I was playing widow and I got flung into the air by a junk bomb but I was still scoped in however I was strafing left and right at the normal unscoped speed 😂😭

What’s Rein’s identity in 5v5? Ram has better range, Orisa has better tanking. It feels like his shield melts too fast and he’s not enough of an up close threat to make up for it

It’s funny but with the nerf to the main op tanks orisa and hog it’s really refreshing to see doom, Winston, rein, and jq and sometimes ball but ram is still super good in current state most likely the best tank right now
I hope next season they will add supports that can one shot....

I need help I'm hardstuck unranked as tank any tips to help me get out of this awful rank?
Do ranks not show up in lobby queue? How do I know what rank everyone is? I started placement matches, but did not finish before the reset. It is a lot more tryhard than Quick Play. I never played in-game Competitive before. The teams I veresed were no bronzes I seen in Flat videos. The DPS were out for blood and they were more corridnated than my team. Final thing, I do not like Mercy's nerfs. Her healing is so much less effective now.

I wanna see a dedicated Orisa/Ana duo that tries to combo spear and sleep as much as possible (Orisa spears, Ana sleeps, which, if it follows similar mechanics to other interactions, would send the enemy flying farther
hidden matchup knowledge: orisa's ult bumps enemies off the floor for a second, creating an opening for ana to throw a nade under rein's shield

I would like them to buff the shield. His shield is so damn flimsy. Esp since he's the only tank who can't attack while holding the shield.
Give him quick melee with shield up. Rammatra even has melee attack in his nemesis form. I'm not talking about punches, but his palm smash melee.
As a reaper main…we used to own Reinhardt. Now we can’t press him without a tank. And his fire strike isn’t just respectable now…it gets wild eliminations
My experience of the new season is me having no aim bcz I start not liking fps game and play more and more rpg games my tank feeding support helping him and me getting railed by one shot combo or one shot I lost my touch and I have to play tons of game to lose sr and have somewhat fun gameplay
So glad rein is more viable now. Makes more great team comps possible again
What’s the difference between health shield and armor ?

Health is just regular HP, and is the first type of health to be recovered by healing sources
Armor reduces damage taken by all sources by 5 (thus, it's more effective when being hit by weaker shots like Tracer's weapon, and less effective when being hit by strong attacks like a Junkrat ult)
Shields is just regular HP that recovers over time after not taking damage for a while and is recovered by healing sources last (e.g., Health packs, Mercy beam)
Have u played the game? Thats not what shields or armor are
Shield health regenerates itself without needing of a healtpack or support to heal u (Sigma has shield health)
Armor health reduces 30% of damage taken. So a tracer will do 3.5 of damage to a armored target instead of the 5.0

Flats I challenge you to a dual
For me this was a clear nerf. Considering that you could oneshot a 250hp target when activating your ultimate, what good does 0,25s additionals stun time do for you. The target can be safed and if not you need one more swing to kill the target which takes longer than the 0,25secs. In the meantime the rest of the team can get up and go right back to violating you.
It still does 175 damage, so one swing would kill after that. Plus fire strike is now 100 damage and charge is on a second lower cooldown
Uh if u hit your directories there is no reason u shouldn't be outputting more dps and that first player would be getting killed with the firestrike anyways
My guy, just firestrike almost anything except the tank twice and they're down guaranteed, and you almost definitely have time to do that. If you don't have them off cooldown, just firestrike and swing, and anything close is dead still
The extra stun time now gives just enough time to connect an extra hammer swing or fire strike, which has recently been buffed. That would kill any squishy and it now gives opportunities for multi kills with rein. He also already had a one-shot ability (pin charge), which is kind of a staple of his kit, so having 2 insta one-shots wouldn't be very balanced
@Oliver Estrada except pin is incredibly hard to aim with and pretty much plants u right into enemy backlines where u can get violated other than that yea great one shot combo for rein 👍

Rein has 2 charges of his fire strike, each with a 6 second cooldown. The damage nerf was to his ult, which takes some time to charge up, and it's not very likely to get a direct hit with his ult anyways. On top of that, his charge also has seen a 1 second cooldown reduction, and the stun duration on his ult was increased very slightly as well. So I also do not see how this is a nerf in any way or form.
@@Lord_Gatsby They gave the stun an extra .25 seconds, which I assume is to give Rein and his team more time to confirm hits but I feel like that's largely irrelevant since Suzu and Zarya bubble still exist.
@@ad-hh3we His charge and fire strike were definitely buffed but shatter was nerfed pretty heavily. The 250 damage on a direct hit of shatter wouldn't come up often but it had huge pick potential when it did and could create more space if the enemy team knew he had his ult up since it's a one-shot for almost all squishies in the game. In a vaccum, the extra .25 seconds to the stun should give Rein and his team more time to confirm hits which is arguably a net buff but stuff like Kiriko Suzu and Zarya bubble still exist. Kiriko is also still meta and Mercy was heavily nerfed so it's very likely that there'll be even more Kiriko and she's unlikely to get nerfed since she's both a poster girl for the game and also received a Mythic skin. The ult charge was also nerfed, which is just unnecessary on a character that already has trouble getting into the enemy team to start doing most of his damage. The buffs to fire strike and charge were still very good but I personally don't think that shatter needed to be changed.

But let me tell ya when I lose its bad and my team flames the hell out of me for playing rein when they have ram or something
Hot Take: Rein shouldn't be buffed, he has multiple 1-shots, that hit multiple enemies. Actual 1-shots, unlike other character's whos combos take more skill than 'be facing squishies'.. One of which is a full AOE, his left click is also an AOE. With a shield and now multiple quick firestrikes. Rein needs a complete rework, or to be "retired" permanently. Just like Sombra, their kit is unfixable as it is.
