Reviewing the New Bachmann G-Scale Dash 9

  • My product review of the new Bachmann G-scale GE C44-9W in Santa Fe lettering. These were originally produced by Aristocraft up until 2013 when they went out of business. Bachmann bought up all their tooling a few years back and has since re-released a lot of their old products including the g-scale dash 9. A very well detailed and impressive unit!

    Love this beautiful locomotive. I run these on 8’s and 10 curve. Never have a problem. Thanks for the video.

    What size curve tracks i need to make a 10 foot diameter turn im super new to the hobby went bought 2 of these monsters the 625 and 635 and i put them up going around the room in the ceiling and so far the test runs have been a disaster they keep derailing thank god i put up guard rails

      I would recommend USA Trains R81700 which is 10 ft diameter or 5 foot radius curved track. The Bachmann Dash-9's don't like running on curves smaller than that and will derail otherwise.
