Here after viewing the Christina Cole/Alan Wake 2 video and it's awesome to see how much emotional impact her scenes had on Matthew as well. Matthew and everyone in the Alan Wake cast are just brilliant actors and it was their talent and commitment that make for one of the important games I've ever experienced. Thanks for making these great interviews!

Damn, this game has so many interesting characters. After you had Sam Lake here i thought like ok, at this point you had them all in your pod. This is a fantastic interview! I really like how you asked a range of questions of Poretta's career first and you let him talk. I enjoy your interviews because you respect the person talking, it's amazing how rare it is lol And you're engaging and don;t disregard answers to move to the next, giving room to add or transition into the next question more naturally. Every time James is mentioned it changes the mood so fast, still so fresh and depressing. I'm glad he ended it on a happy note, good memories of him. I'm also so glad Poretta agreed to this, so great to see and hear more from him. I hope he's open to more stuff like this in the future (especially if he joined social media in some fashion, he has a great personality). So cool that people in the video game industry open to speaking and reaching out to fans. These Remedy interviews are my favs, such good questions and answers and everything feels genuine. There's always god chemistry in the interviews. To add, I saw your concerns about your interview style but you're doing great and the people interviewed always seem happy by the end. Keep it up!
But wasn't it lovely that Matthew tried to make the mood a lighter one, rather than letting his own sadness bring it down? Giving us a glimpse at his positive experience of James was a generous gift.

@@BehindTheVoicePod that makes sense! Thanks for the clarification.
My lil dream if they decide to do a alan wake tv series, just cast matthew as alan wake. His voice is just too good and memorable.
I hope he does audio books one day
@@anthonyt1t5 he has probably done ad reads but I don't think so audiobooks
@@BehindTheVoicePodFunny enough, Ilkka has done audiobooks, actually :D
Matt could do Alan Wake acc and share it with Ilkka. I've seen some former star wars actors / actresses creating their character account where they don't share any private stuff but everything related to character and cons they are attending etc.
That would be a nice idea however it depends upon the actors if they want to do it.
What happened with your website? Wanted to grab some merch to show some love.
Oh well the website has changed: www.behindthevoice.net/

Who knows
@@BehindTheVoicePod Plz make more interviews with him, he is so underrated and not many interviews are available for him
I will try
His... marketing voice? Am I missing something? He is using 100% of his voice in both games lol
It’s all about the tone
For promos, you need to have like a specific style of voice. You must've heard it in ads and that's what he intially used because most of the work was literally narration
@@BehindTheVoicePod I see, but wouldn't you agree he doesn't varies his voice much or at all for Alan Wake? I mean, he doesn't need to, he is perfect for the role, just saying.
Yaa well it would odd to change the voice or vary it too much because the character's voice and look and feel was all set in the first game
Spoiler warnings would be beneficial with these interviews.
