1:13 they actually do have a couple of businesses in the Happy Home Paradise DLC, including a cafe, a restaurant, a hospital, a school, and a boutique. (You unlock different buildings by doing a certain number of house decorations for villagers)
I've played " Animal Crossing New Horizons ", and it's fun- I'll admit that! Though, I haven't played it in a long, loong time now, I still think it's a good game. My fav villager that I had on my island is Wolfgang.

Why is it that almost every time you get your first campsite villager they’re ugly? Like I just started a new island a few weeks ago (haven’t played in over 2 years and deleted my island and sold the game so I’m borrowing a friends rn) and of all the 400 villagers I got RODNEY
I love animal crossing new horizons however I wish I had a switch before lockdown I was actually sad because I thought I was going to move back to my hometown that I don’t love all that much either way the pandemic was a sad and difficult time so new horizon’s definitely would have cured my angst from that time even though I still had to focus on school since I was a junior in high school right in the middle of lockdown and I was in the middle of my junior year in high school but since that summer I would have definitely focused more on my animal crossing island but let me just tell you time travel is totally a lifesaver trust me as long as you aren’t bombarded with turnips you’ll be all set to time travel in order to get your original progress I still have to work hard so I can get every inch of progress again and yeah I’m happy to say I have every villager and npc out there I’m kinda upset I have to keep them inside a big ghetto bag for now but eventually I can get a bigger better binder to stuff them all into but yeah to get the perfect island of maple bay I have to terraform like crazy and get my mini neighborhoods finished while time traveling since you can only rearrange an island home once per day so I have to skip the timeline in order to get my set of three sets of mini neighborhoods done then I can get a lot of flowers and produce then fruit trees and a few normal tree plus cedar trees and money trees from there I’ll place my stores next door to the airport I think and the museum I’m not sure
