For the checkered bag, I recommend NOT using acrylic yarn as it would stretch (as you said), instead use cotton or macrame thread and that would not budge!💜

I seriously understand the struggle with taking on too many projects!! I legit have three projects going on at once right now. 😳 My husband is threatening to hide my crochet hooks. I legit just finished a baby blanket though, so it isn’t like I am not finishing my projects; they just take longer because I always have several going at once.

as a crocheter, blocking is literally a dream!!! maybe don't do it for the balaclava or things where u want to keep the stiffness/structure, but it improves the drape SO MUCH. i just saw in your 2021 crochet video that you want the bandanas to lay nicer on your head, and blocking can actually solve that :D

u probably wont see it but for bag straps chain the length you want not the width and you wont get stretch/not as much stretch
