@ezrabasil654 they got fouled in the box poor defenses. Gotcha. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean the ref should shouldn't call fouls. Each and every one was confirmed by VAR. I agree with you but they have been many cheatings in WC history. Platini confirmed france cheated to win the WC in 98 for example. He was part of the organizational comitee and was the one who drew the group stage. They wanted to play brazil in the final and won their 1st title against the great brazil of ronaldo. Another example, WC 66 was basically a gift set up by fifa to England bc they didn't want pele to win that year in the fear of making football uninteresting for Europeans and to the world. Players who have competed at that time confirmed it in interviews. So if fifa wants absolutely a particular country to win, that country will win it😂😂😂.
The owners of Qatar bought PSG and then the right to host a World Cup. After a lot of money, thousands of lives lost and several refereeing errors, the final of the tournament is decided between two selections whose main players "coincidentally" belong to... PSG. Five (5) stolen penalties for Argentina, almost all when the game was still tied (Saudi Arabia, Poland, Netherlands, Croatia and France). Lionel Messi, the FIFA protégé, scored 4 goals from penalties, all of them badly kicked, and 3 goals unmarked. When Neymar or Vini Jr. they start to dribble, then they are fouled. When the test-tube baby Messi starts scratching on the ball with his short legs, no one dares to touch the figurine. He put his hand on the ball, Maradona style, but did not receive a yellow card. He detracted from Weghorst and van Gaal, showing how false their supposed "modesty" is (they confuse lack of personality with humility). Another coincidence: Modric was a tiger against Brazil and a little bunny against Argentina. He entered the field just to ask for an autograph. Humiliating. But then he returned to play well against Morocco. That cup felt like match wrestling. FIFA is as fake as WWE. The Qatar Cup is the biggest case of sportswashing in history. It should be cancelled.
It's true the WC was rigged. The ball used in all of Argentina's games was remote controlled. Kolo Muani didn't miss. His ball was misguided by someone with a remote controller.

You 2 are not the brightest up top:) He ment the amount of penalties obviously Argentina was given throughout the tournament in order to gain advantage in the games. You can not rigg every aspect of the game. Just some, like shady ref calls. That's enough to give you an advantage. You still obviously have to execute on the field. There's been plenty of rigged games throughout history. Seria A has been rigged for years and years. By most of leading clubs (having refs and other officials on their paying list) competing with each other. That doesn't necessarily mean Juventus or Milan won it every year. They still had to perform! But were they given an edge to win it by doing so? Certainly. And that's what Van Gal is implying to.

Guys ...Van Gaal like all of us, has no control over his brain chemistry. Some people are autistic, some like me adhd, others a million other conditions through no choice. He was born with a narcissistic brain, through nobodys fault or is decision, therefore he has felt the urge to put that 'fix' nonsense in the public domain, so that in his day to day life with friends, family, media and strangers, his hidden insecurity that losing the game means he's a loser, (which he isn't) can be put down to him personally being wronged. We are only our brains, and a narcissist's biggest fear is that even one person might see him as a 'loser' and he is worried about that more than anything. Even though nobody does think that of him like that, he's achieved unreal success as a manager that most of us could only dream of. Peace and love gerard
For those people who is saying final is fixed before Argentina were dominating more of the game... Broo they were just better than their opponent!! Just like man city dominated real madrid in champions league!
Was the World Cup PREDETERMINED for Lionel Messi? The main perpetrator of this scenario is the Dutch national team itself. who was happy to let Argentina with Leo Messi through to the next round... Approximately how much money do they receive from this scenario..?
Of course. Not only 2022. It was supposed to happen since 2006. But didn’t happen. It happens it 2022. Because Messi started to enjoy it rather than feeling pressured. And you know what happens when Messi enjoys it. He dominates. Simply dominates.
In Argentina vs Netherlands & Argentina vs France, referees helped their maximum for Netherlands and France to give penalties. But God never giveup, He ended those matches in shootouts and Argentina won. Yes it was predestined.... Predestined by God.
Absolutely uncalled for for manager to say that not to mention completely ridiculous, if that were true France wouldn't have gotten that penalty during the match - how absurd 🙄
Fifa : we want Argentina to win WC but we have to make Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia in its first game, also make sure Argentina go into Penalties with Holland and France, we also want Brazil to loose to Croatia and Neymar to cry so Brazil would not face Argentina in the semi final. 😂😂😂😂
Where was the "penalty for Argentina" vs Mexico? That was when they really needed help. They were looking like they were going out. Or the three disallowed goals against Saudi where they actually lost. Van Gaal is just a bitter man who loat his job because of their defeat at the WC. Messi pulled them out if the rut and Arg won it fair and square.
The big question people forget to ask before getting to "how" is WHY? Why would Europeans and European Organizations favor Messi and just say "F Europe, let's give it to South Americans 🤪" for no reason. Then give a FK to Netherlands on the edge of the box for 50-50 challenge in the last seconds. Give France a second penalty in the last minutes.
Completely agree with Ale.. had Kolo Muani scored his chance nobody would've talked about this. It's just so pathetic to nitpick everything against Argentina just because they don't want Lionel Messi to win the World Cup.
I don't think the WC was fixed in Argentina's or anyone's favor, but I definitely felt that Messi and by extension Argentina benefited from the officials and the Organisers. Messi was playing for PSG owned by the Qataris who were also the hosts of the WC. Some European countries and players were raising concerns about the human rights issues in Qatar, but not Messi and company. I think the Qataris would have been grateful for that. How that Leandro Paredes kick was not a red card I will never understand and now in the EPL players are getting yellow cards just for throwing the ball away. Big players and personalities do get away with more in sports. In tennis umpires are afraid to penalise the big players like Nadal, Djokovic, Serena. I think I even heard Nadal and Serena tell some umpires that they will never again officiate in any of their matches, that too on live television during play. Everyone knows referees were afraid to anger Alex Ferguson during his time with Man Utd especially at Old Trafford. At the highest levels winning or losing is decided by fine margins, and so even little things can make a big difference.
Yeah like giving Netherlands ten extra minutes when Argentina had the lead and giving France two penalties was in Favor of Messi and Argentina. Do you realize how stupid it all sounds ?

Of course they do. Known Messi fans. But everyone watching the World Cup could see there was a push for Messi to win his last World Cup. Defensive teams were very successful, but an opening penalty destroys any defensive plan from a theoretically inferior team. Everyone knew beforehand that Argentina’s first goal against France was going to be a penalty.
Honestly, it's a huge compliment when your professor says you cheated on a test, or the invigilators helped you out to score 100% when that is not true.
Was it fixed? Highly unlikely. But was there interest from FIFA and Qatar that Messi wins WC? Absolutely. Why do you think Messi went to PSG of all clubs where there's Qatari owner? That was obviously part of some agreement in connection to the World Cup. And you could see Messi was extremely unhappy there and was counting the days until he could leave. And guess what? Just six months after the WC he did leave to Inter Miami where he's happier than ever.
Your overthinking this badly. Where else would he of signed for. Not the premier league because his english is none existant. Only teams good enough for messi was Bayern, PSG or Juventus
I agree, but... If not the first penalty against Croatia, the game would have been different. If it weren't for the first penalty against France, the game would have been different. FIFA doesn’t buy everything, FIFA buys the moments that influence it, and see how it goes.
they also scripted for saudi to win in their first match....and all the goals argentina scored were also practice with others team so that it happens according to the script.
The game of Croatia vs Argentina could be played 100 times in Qatar, the result would be the same. Croatia was out of breath. And offensively, there was 0 threat from them. Remember also that a penalty kick is never whistled in the middle of the pitch but inside the box of the opponent. To reach the box, you have to play and be threatening. Argentina played and created more chances of scoring. A good team doesn't give up because they're down 1-0. Netherlands and France were down 2-0 but they managed to come back. A sore loser will always have arguments to justify his loss. Finally, the penalty kick against Croatia was a valid one without a shadow of doubt.

I think his statement is being misconstrued. I don’t think he meant it was rigged in that sense. But there was definitely a lot of pressure on the ref not to be the difference in Argentina losing thy game after blowing a two goal lead. It was very evident in extra time if you can objectively look at the calls the ref was making not withstanding at least one automatic red for kicking the ball at the Dutch bench.

@ devdasrakesh61 in that case why not rig it for France. The Qataris own psg a French team.

FIFA doesn’t buy everything, FIFA buys the moments that influence it, and see how it goes.
they also scripted for saudi to win in their first match....and all the goals argentina scored were also practice with others team so that it happens according to the script.
what u smokin bruh 😂
maybe dembele was in the secret meeting as well.
In the final, France *first* and *third* goals were penalty goals.
Fun fact: the free kick the dutch got, from which weghorst equalized, a foul by the dutch, but given as a foul by argentina. Mans still salty messi humiliated him as payback for riquelme in front of 1bln people
I agree with Van Gaal, any slight chance they had to give Argentina a penalty they did just that
if it was rigged, why would they loose against Saudi Arabia. People just come up with random accusation instead of enjoying the art of football from Messi
I think Louis Van Gaal been reading Nostradamus book and his prediction of Argentina winning the World cup 😂😂😂😂
Tchouameni, coman, van djik, berghuis etc who missed their penalties were also in it apparently
Such comments should be punished...an international coach should atleast have common sense.
Van Gaal didn't have a response to Messi on and off the pitch especially immediately after the match when Messi confronted him. He just woke up from that shock and just found his voice to respond 😅
They gave the Netherlands 15 minutes of added injury time to tie Argentina lol
