Im not sure but there's no way this is the cam audio. Probably the dude found/own the soundboard audio bootleg and just added the video. The levels and the absence of audio clipping make me think so. There's no way a camera back then while in a crowd would record such clean audio (beside the point you said, that the analog to digital conversion unless you own some expensive ass equipment, will ruin everything).
Idk the cam equipment from the 90s we were shouldering in some respects is better specced than handheld smartphone used to record. For example a big dildo sized mic with cover. If he equipped the cam to record at such high levels it might be off the cam itself the audio.
