You showed TF jungle and now support so technically TF can be played in every lane somewhat consistently.

I play non ironically TF adc in normal matches when i play alone or with friends and its somewhat viable as he sinergizes well with crit based items. I think except for top lane (too many champions who ignore stun like jax, fiora, mundo...) he can be played almost every position and get great results

Of my years playing TF, his hardest role is top lane. He can be played in all 5 roles but he really sucks top

You could also go resolve secondary with font of life so when allies attack the stunded person they get movespeed from item this also makes it so you could get chemtech so when allies attack they get full 60% anti heal.
Font of life triggers ardent, sofw, and chemtech putrifier but it does not trigger summon aery or shurelyas
I actually did a similar support speed build with Annie (Pred, Mobility boots) and E provides additional speedboost. It's quite effective as Annie also has an AOE Bear stun on teamfights.
Annie was a popular support pick back in the day for this reason actually.
Annie's engage range is much shorter

i dont even play league outside of gamemodes but there's something really entertaining about seeing all these off meta strategies
will all the ways you can build and play a champion you have to wonder how experimentation isn't a key selling point for the game

TF is like an annie that can appear in a fight anywhere on the map, very useful to have point and click CC with all the mobility and overloaded champ kits designed for outplays.
i faced this a few weeks ago as adc i got fed was popping everyone.
i died about 4 times that game every time to TF stun with his teams follow up.
however i was fed enough to kill anyone as long as i avoided his stun.
I used to play the same style as Nunu sp, roaming all the time, super fun.

I just had a teammate a couple of hours ago with the same ign, he actually did good and surprisingly it is effective.
I have been playing this build for an entire year now lmao. It's a ton of fun and honestly not bad at all.

I'm pretty sure I played with this guy in ranked early this season. We lost but the guy did actually carry our early game.
first, i love you channel and i'm glad i fond that vid. i was thinking on trying TF support as well, and than i saw this vid, and it has some good ideas about the pick.
my plan is to do AD support, maxing W and after that maxing E. The build has a bigger focus on auto attacks, and TF can get a lot of attack speed with only RFC.
it's important to know that TF has a 100% AD bonus on his W.
The build is Umbral Glaive (2400g) into rapid fire canon (2500g) and than... Navori Quickblades (3400g, that one is a bit heavy and it can be questionable).
Umbral gives you 50AD and 15 ability haste, and the passive is big for self income (and tf get a bet more for each ward because of his passive), and also it's just op for vision overall.
rapid fire cannon - well, it's just too op on tf. a level 13 tf with E maxed (+40% attack speed), RFC, +10% from attack speed shard, +18% from Alacrity should have 2.16 attack speed. that's also the reason why i think about navori, because with those 3 items tf will get an extra 110ad, 40% crit, and 45 ability haste (you can get +20 from boots, but i don't think it's that helpful). with 40% crit and 2.16 (2.47 at level 18) and navori, an enemy should be perma stunned. also, you can use red card for AoE slow.
i think that there are some big downsides to that build, mainly the price of navori, but if you got to a 3rd item as support it's big.
runes: Predator, chip shot (i think taste of blood might be better because tf weak early), Zombie Ward, Ultimate Hunter. you also take Legend: Alacrity and about the last one im not sure... i guess it depends on the matchup or if you feel like you need more mana in lane.
shards - attack speed and double armor (lvl 1 tf has 21 armor. you can switch the last 2 shards if something works better).
good sides - so much vision with umbral, zombie ward an ulti. really good at picking an enemy champ, should do nice damage at 3 items. also, easy to impact the map with ulti and MS.
down sides - really squshy, weak lane phase (doesn't want to stay in lane), weak poke with q, the huge spike with navori can happen just later in to the game, and overall a really weird pick. might be better as adc, but i he lacks something as adc.
i didn't try that pick yet, and i think it can be kind of shit, but i give too much thought to it already, so if someone want to try it and maybe readjust it, you're welcome.

can you talk about AD TF mid?
a couple guides online talks about it and the reasoning behind it.
if one thing TF is bad at is at defending himself in lane, and any competent mid laner can shut him down before lvl6 most of the time, so being AD gives him the chance to duel against some annoying assasins and be more than a glorified support in solo Q.
it also helps making him less dependable on the team for SoloQ.
Got gold 2 this season and demoted fast go gold 4 after going back and forth from g4 and g3 i decided to try this and quinn. Its actually fun and convient for me because i dont need to stay in lane and babysit my adc now im back in gold 2 with multiple winning streak. I just immediately tried the start in rank so I can say it doesnt require much skill to be viable in lower ranks
I think that for runes going font of life(procs shurelia bcs of heal) and knight's vow as 5rd item, anathema's as 6th item might be smarter if you're trying "not to die", even if you're giving 50ms you keep your teammate alive and the enemy get stunned/slowed 20% more from anything, and enjoy 30% damage reduction. Plus it gives cooldown reduction!
edit: went font of life, it doesn't proc shurelia.
Yep, that seems better. Without font of life I'm not sure if shurelia's would be that effective, since you already have the move speed from predator + dead man. And with knights vow (or other support item like redemption) and anathema's you would have a lot of utility, so you would always be important in teamfights
font of life is used procs item like shurelia for a long time ago.
It's the time when Trundle support with Ardent Censer was stomping.

Ive been doing this for a couple years actually. Almost the same thing. I will say that relic shield is better since you get more gold from passive, plus its not like you will be doing dmg so the extra 15 or whatever ap is not worth it
3 years ago when i was just messing around in league literally not understanding the most basic things i used to play twisted fate support, everyone kept flaming me for it but i just said "i stun you kill"
Any champion can be a support at this point. I really want to see a Xin Zhao support main in challenger soon!
Xin sup is actually good. I played against it once and i got destroyed. Every time i walked anywhere near wave he just poked, dashed in, cc'd, and i was already dead. Sup didnt help much that game lol
@@Mikeamoo That happened to me too actually it was super painful to go against and didn't help that I had a Yuumi with me. If I tried to even grab cs slightly outside tower he would jump at me from a screen away, knock me up, then burst me down. I really need to try it myself because it looks absolutely fun to play

I actually wanted to invent exactly this pick, movement speed tf, but I dumbed it because I wasnt able to win without some early items and good teammates, looks like somobodys just better at this, I wanted to play glacial or even phase rush with imperial mandate and rushing rapid fire, I was even playing mobility boots :D

I recommend for this same build but do imperial command instead of shirelias.
Some time ago I tested TF sup with cannon first but I didn't like it. Yesterday I played with Everfrost and that plus yellow card was fun hahaha

I main TF and i got the "sperm" build from Tobias Fate. Basically you build items that has the item Aether Wisp (the sperm) on it. I build this everytime i got TF on ARAM.

Rfc is easily my favorite item on tf. The only reason why its not broken is because it doesnt fit into ap build and ad tf is easily countered thus bad.
