I have played around 20 sylas support games during ss11. It was pretty fun. The only problem is if you don't get fed or unable to get a lead, you're literally trash with no damage and zero tankiness.
im a sylas main i think its WAY easier to comeback in support since u can 1shot adc and the only reason u might lose is that gold wont be enough and ur adc sucks
Yea I'm totally gonna try this. I can't believe I haven't before. There are some champs I refused to play pole Yasuo and Sylas a few years ago cos the design philosophy was so wildly different to anything before them, but now it's kind of the standard I am picking up these champs. I was thinking about Sylas and this seems like a fun option. Take a different support ult every game. I don't think you could do much better than Glasc's ult. I think that is low-key the most busted ability in the game. Turns a 5v5 into. 5v1v1v1v1v1, and guess who wins that fight 99.9% of the time
as a support main i think any character can be played as a support but ive always just seen Sylas as a counter pick against champions like leona, amumu supp, or any other aoe R supports, its nice to see a different way to play him in that role
I used to play as sylas sp with my friend who play viego adc, this may sound shitty in every aspects but picking up early kill with these 2 champs are so easy that we stomped our way through plat. Its a fun and at some points useful pick though

Sylas support just makes sense. You can dash ,engage, CC ( minimally but still ), and steal any ulti which is op especially in bot where it’s easier to do so
funny because i was just looking around at sylas support videos after playing like 5 games of it. Every game both me and the AD are getting insanely fed and his roams and early skirmishes are nuts.
as Pantheon/Eve sup/Swain (early, mid, late game) main I would LOVE to try this cause he can scale pretty easily unlike Pantheon where until you are spear shoot you aren't gonna scale that good or unlike Evelynn bc eve is pretty situational and most of tanks fuk up your early game which means pretty much no mid or late game and swain? swain is late game and with new early game oriented champs... he just dont get stack cause DASHES so sylas is only one of those 4 that: scales easily, has good early mid and late game, has dashes so he can dodge or get to enemy. ty for showing me this GOLD
I've loved Fizz support since it was made possible back with that one Ezreal rune As a once-Fizz-Mid main, I moved to support cuz I like the champ but got bored of the lane. They removed that rune for a couple years but now they've got first strike so I've been trying it again. Great success so far. Haven't even lost lane yet.
4:00 maybe should point out that early ignite is typically better especially early on to negate healing from heal summoner spell if they use it (which they often do in bot)
the heal on sylas w is the only thing in his kit imo that needs a nerf, ive faced a sylas that was level 5 and gained half of his health from 2 uses of w, one of which was through ignite so saying hes w heal is overpowered is an understatement, he and yuumi are the only champs ive seen heal from 10 hp to full off a single ability through ignite and other means of 60% grevious wounds which is why grevious wounds either needs a buff or their heals need a nerf
Sylas support is like Zoe support. However while Zoe is made stronger by how much bubbles her ADC let's her get, sylas is made stronger by his enemies ultimate. And there really isn't any support who has a bad ultimate. Even anivia's can be good certain times.
Sylas botlane always in my secret pick if I want to destroy enemy botlane as quick as possible. It's the most offensive support/carry pick for me (yes, I can play Sylas as carry as well), and It's can dominate from level 1 through entire game.
I suggest you try this on magic penetration Q max if you are below diamond. With electrocute or first strike. Just full glass cannon build. I main this as well and you really just snowball the game hard af. 3 one-shots in a row at 5 min (4th level) - one-shotted the enemy mid laner lvl 6 kata, then one-shotted jarvan who was clearing a ward at river, and then one-shotted vel'koz on botlane (3 kills in 58 seconds). You literally look for flashing into them at level 2 and try to poke with Q level 1. Ban lulu or morgana, pyke's ult is great but he has the power to match you in every aspect, so you are more like mirroring each other, which is annoying in my experience.
Just got a sylas support a few mins ago. He fed bot lane, completely abandoned his apc ziggs, proceeded to "roam" but never ganked a lane, then left the game midway. hehe fucking gold elo
As a main support, I approve and like this, but as a main Support, I hate that this works. Btw Aftershock is such an underrated engage support rune. I use it with Pantheon, Mordekaiser and Kled, and it covers their weakness of being easy to kill. You don't really need damage runes with bruisers because you already have a high base damage, and this rune set helps you to make the engage longer and allow your adc to get the picks.

I remember seeing polypuff and like some weird EU masters coaches talk about this pick last season as a flex or as a funny polypuff pick (I could be wrong about the EU masters stuff but I did see some coaches talking about it)
Can you make a video on Zhorty (EUW)? He's a twitch main that plays only with first strike runes, he also has a diffrent build compared to most twitch mains and last season he had over 1350 games with twitch.

Most of them are aftershock, but it just happend that he didnt have it ready for the play/fight. He DID play electrocute as well, but I cannot reccomend it as he stopped + aftershock is much more reliable for all elos below master.

Pretty much any poke ult like that isnt great with sylas as it's not what he wants to do in a fight. He wants and ult that lets him use his other abilities well, not one that turns him into a different class.

it depends on enemy comp, you will always be useful if they have a malphite, for example.
If the enemy comp has good ults, Sylas will never be useless.
mage items are expensive as hell, supp usually dont get that luxury to buy 1,2 items pre 25min so yh, ur prob a dogshit if not fed

tbh you can play virtually anything in any role and get to diamond/master if you have the mechanics and macro for it

49.6 is not a bad win rate considering he requires some games to get used to, so it’s probably at least 52% if you have 10+ games on him.

in what world is corki ult bad for sylas? it’s easily one of the best ults he can steal considering he procs his passive after every rocket
