Great cutout! I picked door 2, and I wasn’t completely wrong something was in there....it just wasn’t bees!! 😂😂 I’m so glad you found that queen. I’ve been on that bridge just once in my life, many years ago, after my only trip to New Orleans. It was a gorgeous ride. Thanks for the beautiful scenery. 🐝🐝🐝
Door # 2 was a winner as well, but there was no honey with that one. Finding the queen in the window was really cool, another first for me. I've crossed that bridge so many times, but I'm glad I live on the Northshore. Glad you enjoyed the views and the video. Till the next one, God's peace Diane. Mr. Ed
Catching the queen with your bare (or rather gloved) hand was extremely impressive. Hubby and i have been keeping bees for six, maybe seven years, and catching a queen is one of the things we have yet to become comfortable with. I'm sure they're not as fragile as all that, but fear of accidental smooshing (even in a cage) is a difficult phobia to overcome. Thanks for another great one! See you next week!
The queen is a lot tougher than you think, still caution is always a good approach. Often, it's just easier to catch her with my fingers and when the opportunity presents itself, I will take advantage of it. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed

NICE job and the window helped you out. Even the critters go to the sun/Son! And you never can tell where the Rooster has been or will show up. Happy swarm catching/wrestling and happy weekend to you and the Parachutist! I guessed door number 9 but I was at the wrong house! And I've had your hairdo for a long time.

@@JeffHorchoff Hi.I have just received your reply to my first email from yesterday after receiving your answer to my second mail. I thought you deleted this message … Sometimes I'm a bit pathetic, but I wouldn't be if it weren't for the pleasure of seeing and hearing you. Your joy is mine. You give me inspiration. Suddenly pictures emerge. You know everyone can only speak for themselves, but we are all connected. Maybe by God's hand. We are all looking for the possibility of reflection. You give me the opportunity to feel myself. New hope for a "new" life. I don't want to be alone anymore, even if I call 4 cats (Lola & Louis with their kitten Pepsi & Rosina) my children. I'm someone who falls in the house with the door, you know. If images and emotions don't let go and accompany me constantly, I have to articulate them. That is my conviction: authenticity lies in the immediacy. You can only find honesty here. And trust. Trust is love. Love is god. You are a godly man. That's wonderful. It is far-fetched to explain myself "across the pond" from Germany to America. But hope dies last, as the saying goes. I often considered writing a letter to you because it is very private, but ... the directness is missing. Besides, there is nothing bad about honesty and I think you understand and accept that. I don't play. I try to shape my future in my imagination. You know what I'm talking about. I don't want to get on your nerves, but there is something that makes me feel good about you. I hope you don't feel bombed now. You live your life and you are satisfied. That's nice. I explain myself in the manner described so as not to have to become indiscreet. Thank God I basically regained hope for an acceptable future. Now it's about the sausage ;-) Born in 1966, I'm no longer the youngest. God protect you. I'm with you in my thoughts. Would you tell me about your own thoughts? If you have a family, i.e. wife and children, or maybe you are a lay member of the Brotherhood, forget everything and tell me. Then I won't bother you any further. By the way: Your videos are very valuable to me. That remains. Now that "everything" has been pronounced, I am not sure that I can do all of this without asking. But I repeat it: hope dies last! By the way, in theory, I have been dealing with bees for many years. P.S. I had Google 100% translate these lines. Hope this fits and it’s not embarrassing for you and you’re not angry with me now.

I don't think the bees are harming anyone, they just want to build their home... Not even the owner is worried, he waited for a while before getting them removed
The problem was not the homeowner, it was the neighbors kids, the homeowner did not want them to get stung by bees from his house. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Can't either you or the home owner stick some steel wool in those holes to keep the bees from getting in? Or is there not something you can use as a long term deterrent to keep the bees from out of that area? But then again with the cut outs that are already there at least when the bees return you will know where they are.
The homeowner is concerned if he seals this location up, they will find a new location on his house to enter. Since this one is easy to remove the bees from, and the wood is already cut, he wants to keep it just like it is. Thanks for watching. God's peace Roberta. Mr. Ed

Mr. Ed! Happy Friday my friend. Okay this video was packed with all kinds of goodies. Started of with a freshly shaven handsome guy introducing himself pointing out an historic bridge with a beautiful view behind. We had some trivia in the description. Who knew that Godzilla took the prize on most sequels? I didn't. Then the guessing game. I don't know why the title didn't give me a hint. LOL! I guessed door #2. And finding the Queen in the window was exciting for us too - especially after your reaction which was priceless and what I come here for. I love seeing people surprised, happy, and excited. All the best emotions rolled into one! And then finding that ball cap and wondering off to "scare" the rooster was hilarious. Now I wasn't too happy to see your swollen lip from the stings. But you seem to handle it well so I'll stop being fussing about that part. Thank you Mr. Ed for fulfilling every subscriber's dream! You're the best. Have a good weekend! And stay safe and protected.

I liked the beard. I wish mine would grow like that. 7 years of growth without cutting it and it's not even at the bottom of my ribcage and super thin.. Some people have it and some don't I guess.. I've also lost most of the hair on my head at only 34 so.. but that's mostly thanks to the blood pressure med I'm on. Now for bees, I found out we have a black California Carpenter Bee in the edge of our patio cover. I don't really want to kill her but if she digs all the way up into the foam that coats the roof, she's going to let water in and ruin our roof we just had put on the cover a couple years ago. Unlike honey bees they don't make hives they just make long tunnels about half to 3/4 of an inch wide that they lay eggs in. From what I just read you guys have them down there too, just not as many. They look like super shiny solid black HUGE bumblebees. I take it you've given up on cutting old comb and putting it in your boxes unless it's absolutely necessary?
I loved the beard, but with temps hitting 90 already, it had to go. No worries, it will be back in the Fall. Those genes come from my Russian heritage, they needed hair to keep warm. WE have Carpenter Bees here as well and they do the exact same thing. They are destructive, but at the same time, they are pollinators as well. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr.

I think he takes it back to the Abbey and frames it there. Unless I'm thinking of a different beekeeper. :-)
I loved the beard, but with temps hitting 90 already, it had to go. No worries, it will be back in the Fall. Those genes come from my Russian heritage, they needed hair to keep warm. With temps already hitting 90, it was time for it to go. Not to worry, come October it will make a reappearance. Have a great weekend, and thanks for watching. God's peace.

You got your money's worth from your barber.
You caught that queen without the clip. I wouldn't trust myself with either fearing I would crush her. That's why i enjoy watching instead of doing. Have a good weekend.
One of the monks cut my hair, but I hacked off the beard, they still won't let beauty shop open. I'm starting to catch her with my fingers now, I think I have a better chance of not losing or hurting her. Plus, it is pretty cool to do it. Have a great weekend as well Joey. God's peace brother.

Hey,Jeff. Think you can persuade JP to go with that clean look? Glad you know John Prine. He was a treasure and will be missed. Humor, compassion, great songs. Stu
I saw JP on Friday, and he got his beard trimmed. John Prime was a hero of mine, and I played a bunch of his music when I was in High School and college. I saw him preform more than once, and will miss his presence in the world too. God's peace Stu.
