A truly beautiful piece. A pleasure to watch you work.
Wow that’s beautiful, thank you for sharing this amazing piece of art work with us.
this is QUALITY ! Great job!
No way could I stop watching or click through.
Wonderful craftsmanship.
Absolutely Gorgeous work! I wish I could afford to own just one of these pieces of art.
Very beautiful work. A tool that should last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing this with me.
Absolutely excellent workmanship!
That is a beautiful blade. Much respect to someone with such skill and artistry.
Looks amazing... Would like to own anything from his shop...
Skill level is off the charts. I’ve never seen anyone else do that triple fold.
I do love seeing a master at his craft.
Very nice job. Pleasure watching you
Thank you. It is nice.
That was just amazing!
Work of art. Much respect!
Very beautiful incredible skills as a blacksmith 👏👍
Beautiful work
Wow... Fantastic work...
Where can we buy his knives at? I love his damascus work. The black Damascus is stunning!
What a work of art.
I appreciate and love this kind of stuff.
Hard and Beautyful work. 👍
Magnificent work respect from Greece 👏👏👏🇬🇷
as a former chef i always cry when i see such beautiful pieces of art and craftsmanship ! never was and never will be able to afford something like this is one of the few things i regret ! thank you for sharing this
I spent over 20 years in the kitchen myself. I also wish that I could have purchased such a fine piece of art. Henkels aren't bad and has served me well, but this is on a whole other level!
Bought my household some Shun knives this christmas. Not a $400 piece of art like this gentleman is making but it feels good to own such tools. Gotta treat yourself sometimes and if you take good care of it should last forever.
never is a strong word imo, if you save up money you will be able to buy a knife of this quality to be fair. just the same as you save up money to buy or put a deposit on a car or a house. it is all a question of how much and how long it takes you to save up the money
no you don't...
Absolutely gorgeous blade!
Congratulations friend, your work is simply wonderful... A hug from BRAZIL
Bagus sekali pekerjaannya... This is art... TOP banget dah
profesyonel bir bıçak ustası sonuç harika 🤘🇹🇷
Trabalho de excelência
Guten Tag. Vielen Dank
Good day. You really are one of the best blacksmiths in the world. May I ask you a question, please? For example, how much Rockwell does this knife have? I'm guessing you don't use borax. Here it is called a kitchen cleaver. I'm writing from Germany, but I'm Ukrainian. Hope the translation is good. Many Thanks
If not, it is also OK.
With 50 years experience was great knife handmade will be an amazing . This video was useful. Thank you..🙏✔
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm only going by a quick web search and ancient memory recall.
The white powder may be borax which is used in metallurgy to create a barrier against oxidation and aids in removal of oxides (rust). The oxide's melting point is lowered so it melts off leaving behind the pure metal.
Yeah it's flux. Helps when forge welding
Wow. I was way off. I thought it was magical pixie dust that made knife making so beautiful. Only to find out it's flux. I'm crushed. LoL. Seriously though, a true master of the craft.
thanks
I've always admired the quiet expertise of a master craftsman who can routinely make a fully functional piece of art like this.
Beautiful!
pretty good skills
Mesmerising viewing 👏👏👏
I would love to see a build with all of the trimmed off pattern welded blades and blanks to make a one off knife and auction for a good cause?

An ancient idea transformed using modern technology and materials. The craftmanship is still there.
the editing is good, the craftsmanship is good, I wish there was no music. it kills the ASMR
you're watching these videos for asmr? you're in the wrong place dude.
ASSMIR
AMAZING !
Beautiful to watch a true Master , Im just starting to make knifes as a hobby, I have been doing blacksmithing for around 5 years so I have a little bit of experience . (:
A real work of art, the work of a true master, standing ovation!
Is it possible to get a link to the master's products?
Sim, processo manual no qual ele usa as mão para operar as maquinas!
Como se chama esse pó branco?
Falo do 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Are these available for export to the US???
Helal olsun kore ustalarına.
Beautiful 🤩
una pregunta , ¿el borax puede causar delaminaciones?
Amazing 👏
What is that powder, Iam not a blacksmith, Is that something like magnesium or?
As a chef...who would love an oriental blade to work with, and the I've tried many, ues really sharp but not suited to western hand size..they dont fit in balance and hold...if you could put eiropean hand sizes on thrn its must buy... great knives, but only if you have small hands....as soon as i pick a knife up, i know if it works for my hand..ive tried many Japanese and Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese, not known for blades...all too small on the hand.... great watchand interesting 👍🙏🏴
They should send this guy undercover to the show “forged in fire.” It would be interesting to see what the judges say about him.
Most master smiths would never go on forged in fire. They really rush the contestants super hard. Most masters would probably like to just forge the knife slowly and correct the first time.
So do they have a webshop where those knives can be bought?
Respect!!
1000 points 🍷👍👍👍👍🇭🇷
The heat and hammering can get rid of rust
So the rust (in the metal stack) doesn't affect the final quality? It's not necessary to clean the rust off?
Pardon my question, but I don't know much about damascus.
Absolutely, rust cause dislocations when the piece is pressed or modeled.
It's the first thing blacksmith teach you.
Beautiful
Right away I noticed there was no sanding the different layers to remove the visible rust. Doesn't rust cause delamination of the different layers?
Sure does!
What is that powder he keeps putting on it and what's its purpose?
What is the substance being sprinkled onto the steel?
So what about the piece he spent so much time on, twisting and stacking? the Cleaver is ok but I'd like to see what was made with the other piece of steel he was working on
Wow I love when people craft. I don’t know much about blacksmithing but why does he put a lot of flux (the dust) and then right into the furnace. They usually let it melt in. What does that stuff do excalty
I think it is carbon added to make steel harder. In the ancient times they add ashes(basically carbon) to swords making
Then heat it then repeatedly do it to make steel or iron harder.

What is this white powder?
What is that powder that he adds while combining the damascus cuts? And why. Thanx
Borax which helps remove impurities from the metal.
Price is 90% labor. Good profession
What powder is always sprinkled?
He knows the answer of the riddle of Crome!
1:27 in and seeing them stacking dirty steel. They are the best?
what is this white powder?
im curious, is that borax they add between forging, i heard it was borax, just curious about what it actually does for the metal
It will be used as a deoxidant and affect the strength and toughness of the metal. For steel, adding boron improves tensile strength and yield point. Just a little bit
