HOUSE TOUR | A Luxurious, Ralph-Lauren-Inspired Dallas Home Built for Entertaining

- Step inside the timeless and luxurious Dallas home of content creator Amy Havins.
After an extensive 18-month renovation, Amy and her family transformed this exquisite home, dubbed Arbol Manor, into a curated haven that exudes sophistication and charm. As a fan of Ralph Lauren’s preppy, elegant allure, she drew inspiration from the designer and adorned the home with plush plaids and leathers, eclectic antique finds, and eye-catching artwork.
From the matching sisal rugs to the gold scones perched in nearly every room, her home feels like a comforting hotel with a cohesive style. And with a state-of-the-art golf simulator, a pool overlooking the back pond, and a decadent bar, this home is the ultimate retreat for family and friends to enjoy.

The nicer the home, the worse the comments are. This is absolutely GORGEOUS. I am going to re watch it. So much inspiration and I love how calming this is. Incredible talent to bring a home together so well with so many unique and meaningful touches. For those mentioning colour, that is clearly not her vibe…..why even bring it up? This is beyond sophisticated, elegant and filled with incredible taste. Love!
The home is stunning, I think people are snippy because of the weird statements she makes - things like -all the sconces in the home are this sconce, if you see a sconce it will be this sconce, it adds cohesion throughout the home- then immediately takes the viewer into the next room where there is an entirely different sconce; or -this is soooo cool let me show you what it does- and proceeds to open up a very normal cupboard with very normal baskets in it, not the least bit original, that kind of pretentiousness can be really grating. When a person says - one of our Porsches, is another way of drawing attention to wealth for sake of drawing attention to it with no other purpose- those are just a few of the examples of why some comments were snippy-
The house may be your cup of tea, but it may not be someone's else's.
No, sorry. It looks like a Mansion on Turtle Creek rip-off. Or a Restoration Hardware showroom.
It does not look like a home and the reason many people aren’t vibing with it is because there’s not much creativity involved in spending millions of dollars to gut-renovate a house to look like a branded hotel room.
There’s nothing unexpected or interesting here. It’s marble and neutrals and “cohesiveness” and very few personal touches - and even the supposed personal touches are weirdly corporate and impersonal (like the ‘we wanted cool car pics for our baby boy’s room so we had a photographer take artistic black and white photos of Porsches.’ Wtf. Since when do toddlers want Autoweek meets Ansel Adams)
@@tamekabrice agreed. Kind of my point. I don’t there’s any need in stating what the home is missing (ie colour)….as if their opinion is better or correct. It is subjective and that’s why decorating channels feature various styles to suit all the viewers. The way people speak about another persons home like some of these comments is so disrespectful and borderline ignorant. Would you say that to a new neighbour who took you through their house? It’s no different
Only in Dallas do people do this type of home! First Dallas has awful weather! And the cost do this in CA would be 25 million! In the end it looks like a hotel I would not be interested in staying! Has no charm and seems corporate bland!
I like the simple approach of using the same sconce, same runner, same curtain fabric, and branding. She made a grand home less overwhelming. You see the beauty of the home instead of getting lost in furnishings
Beautifully done.
Beautiful home but I cackled at the “who has that many books” comment. Um, people who read!!
Yes, I must admit - I found it to be quite an ignorant comment!
She is a fine example of ‘not the sharpest knife in the drawer’!
That comment was puzzling to me as well.
Cringe to say the least
Buying books just to fill a library is disturbing on so many levels.
I expected more layers, more "richness". I think my expectations were based on the title of it being "Ralph Lauren" inspired.
Bingo!
Didn't she say they've only lived there for 8 months? Layers take time.
Nothing better than seeing an amazing kitchen, and a clueless 1 percenter.
Stunning home but it's missing soul and character to me. And that's what I enjoy most when watching these home tours.
They moved only 7-8 months ago.
I love how it doesn't feel over designed or over decorated. It seems easy to live in, instead of a showplace where you have to be super careful about everything.
😅😅
Are you kidding me? It’s sooooo over designed. Can you imagine kids and their toys and fingerprints? She would freak out!!
Does anyone else feel poor after watching this episode? lol Amy has a beautiful home and her taste is gorgeous. I just feel like I can't relate but I do appreciate her inviting us into her home.
I feel poor just watching RUclips! Because I am poor 😔😂
Same.
I feel poor by watching any of these videos. Maybe because I am - in comparison to all these honeowners😅
@@susannegiesen2114 True, but many of the guests that are wealthy are relatable because a lot of their objects are from family handed down or they have a story or meaning behind the object which is relatable to me. Some of the objects are worth very little money but they are priceless to them. That gives a home a soul. Also, some of the guests give tricks and ideas for doing things on a budget which I appreciate.
Remember, this is Dallas, so $500,000 gets a bunch.
ABSOLUTELY stunning home Amy. Love you on tt. You recently moved in and with time, as you add more personal touches, the home will attain even more character.
To all the nasty people here, if you can’t digest lifestyle of others who are doing better than you in life, take inspiration and try to perhaps ponder where you’ve gone wrong and can improve your sad life of misery, jealousy and despair. I’m an immigrant and came to this country with NOTHING and I have a very comfortable life now because of my hard work of 20 years. Education is the key component to my success and learning from successful people around me. Get educated firstly, stop being jealous, be happy for others and no one can stop you from achieving the same in life.
My advice too so true!
Amy and Wade, you have a lovely home! Thank you for sharing with Homeworthy and all of us at home. You both have done a beautiful job and so nice that your children and their spaces are a priority for you. So many children unfortunately are not wanted and, or cared for, live in unspeakable conditions, etc. Regardless of the mixed comments, be proud of your efforts and work and so nice to hear a woman say, that she enjoys her home. More women can take a page out of her book on that. To have a home is a blessing and if more people started at the home level and family, things would be nothing short of amazing! 💚
Beautiful house - so happy she is happy and willing to share her home with us. V🌹
Everything looks so beautiful and airy, simplicity is key for small spaces and she definitely mastered it.
Her DIY’s are awesome.
The black strip on the windows for the faux “modern french windows vibe” is ingenious 💯❤️
Beautiful! Elegant, classic, and functional. To me a home should be a reflection of those who live in it, the fact that she is smiling ear to ear the entire tour, you know they all live in this home and enjoy it. I truly enjoyed this home tour! Thanks for sharing
Lovely home Amy and Wade have created for her family. She sincerely expresses putting her heart and family's needs into her design, and this is what makes it truly lovely. I appreciate her honesty of her own learning curves along the way and how she designed with the storage needs of her young children too so they could have wonderful play time but also places to easily put toys etc away. Amy's spirit of thankfulness truly comes through.
Thank you for opening your home to us.
Beautifully done. Simple but very elegant style.
Truly beautiful home. Amy - I admire your supreme talent. Thank you for opening your home to us.
Lovely home. I love the home tours, my home is comparable to hers but I hope to goodness if I did a tour (which I wouldn’t) I would not come across pretentious like her. No one cares about the expensive cigars, Tequila or Porsches, ect. Most of us just look for decor inspiration that we can relate to for ideas for our homes. Thank you Homeworthy for all the tours, you’re working overtime😀
Love this home. Beautiful, understated elegance! I appreciate that Homeworthy gave us a quick shot of the whole room so we can see the cohesivenesses of the decor in the room.
A lot of negative comments but this house is amazing. Really thoughtful touches and very personal to them.
The focus is definitely on impressing!
It’s a beautiful home and she seems to be very family oriented. It’s huge but warm & cozy.
Sour grapes to all you ankle-biters!!!! This is probably the most elegantly under-stated, timeless decorating clip I've seen on Homeworthy to date. I so appreciate the simplicity and coolness this home exudes and particularly love the "Green Room"!! I suggest BM White Dove frequently for timeless color palettes when the home interior has to be all the same color as it plays well with so many color schemes/lighting..
Exactly. People are bitter and petty and clearly jealous lol
I disagree. I’m not at all envious. This home is everything money can buy… but the owner has an underdeveloped design aesthetic and it’s so predictable in every way.
Y”all!!! It’s not a channel for only average or broke folks. Can’t you just appreciate ALL the homes shown? Who said it was just for people with lesser incomes?
It’s a gorgeous home but it’s “Wade’s and my bedroom” not “Wade and I’s” bedroom . “Wade’s and my bathroom” not “Wade and I’s” bathroom. That should bother you more that this is becoming a thing.
From where do people even get “I’s”? But, you’re right - it’s becoming a thing. I’m sure teachers are saying it in school. Drives me crazy!
Amen!
Yes, I agree - it hurts my ears!! When I was growing up the emphasis on speaking the English language properly was ever present! We were taught that speaking and writing properly was a sign of intelligence and education. Clearly, not doing so doesn't keep you from getting ahead in life...
Another rather dumb soul with a generous checkbook. I’ll take intelligence over this ‘sea of beige’.
My favorite, NOT, is everyone beginning a sentence with ‘SO’. How ever did that begin?
Loved this home especially the Green Room...such a vibe. Elegant and stylish in a calming neutral way.
I may be alone in this but for someone to think their family deserves my home more than mine does 🤔
Lovely home but there's no warmth. Can't believe kids live there. Too polished for comfort. Just my opinion. I think its a beautiful home but looks to perfect. I like homey comfortable warm inviting and peaceful. God bless your family 😊
I once had a friend who never let her daughter play with toys. They were always put away. This is just a show though and hopefully doesnt always look this perfect, I love this house though.
She said she wanted her home to look like a hotel or store.
@@simo4305 Well, she succeeded...lol. It was nice of her to let everyone have a peek. A lot of effort went into this home.
I appreciate the serene and tasteful decor and house structure, but I feel many of the rooms lack the cozy, warm, and character-filled aesthetic of Ralph Lauren (e.g., mixtures of patterns, juxtaposing styles, and various color schemes) that I prefer. The renovation features she is showing, including the light oak kitchen cabinets with white stone countertops, all brass-toned sconces, white subway tiles, and the black & white checkerboard Carrara floor, are classic. However, putting them all together without unique curated items, they lack individuality and remind me of modern cottage styles (e.g., Studio McGee) with a traditional twist that has been on trend for the past 2 years or so and all over social media. I love the beautiful vintage crystal chandelier she found at a thrift store😊
The previous kitchen was absolutely beautiful and didn’t need to be redone but 🤷♀️ every 10 years kitchens and bathrooms will be updated but at some point you gotta live in it and stop the remodeling.
Regarding the chandelier bartering with the Thrift Store, did she have to do that? Seems like she has absolutely no budget. Why couldn't she just buy it a the price they felt the needed for it and then gloat that she pulled it off on them. Share the wealth that's not nice.
Love the Green Room...Those drawers really cool
But especially "No way Jose'!"
" One of the Porsches that we have"!!!😊 I drive a 20 years old Opel which I bought second hand some years ago😅 This is why I love dreaming while watching these videos😂 But- by the way- I really love my car🧡 But I do also shower with music, ' cause I have a cd- player in my tiny bathroom. I love that😁 Greetings from Germany 😊
We had an Opel. Super fun to drive and cute.
@@today7518 😃
@@today7518 We had one, too--from 1970-1973. An Opel Kadette.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂… but let’s give her some credit.. she shared a few good tips like… one rug, wall paint, bath tub etc.
@@valoriefalorie4223 Yes 😊 And my comment was only meant in a funny way- Just like a comparison between "normal" or "poor" people and over the top wealthy people. I sure liked this tour. The house is incredibly elegant👍 It is kind of normal for her to have all this. Good for her. 😊
A tailored, calm American home owned by a charming chatelaine. It does have, in some of the rooms, clear Ralph Lauren vibes. Definitely not a manor; nor is the house decorated in the prevailing English Country House style that is ubiquitous over here in most manor houses. Also, a manor has a very specific historical, political and social role as it denotes that the house was once a manorial estate in the Middle Ages. That said, it’s clear that our American friends use this descriptor more loosely. And why not. (In the UK to call a new house a manor would be regarded as utterly ridiculous and pretentious). Enjoyable episode, so thank you.
Chandelier is incredible ❤️
Gorgeous home. Ralph would be proud of the Green Room.
I’m pretty sure you’ve never met Ralph Lauren 😉
What makes a house a home... a Porsche in the garage and a golf simulator.
Remember to hide the children and dogs! LOL
Haha
Yup. 😩🤮
This house is lovely!! I definitely appreciate how she has simplified her decorating by having one oclour, one rug design, etc. and I think the house logo is a really fun touch.
Wow!! Now that’s a classy, timeless, modern/RL home done right ❤😮😢
Hmmm, hubris.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Love all the different collections and the green room is superb. I like having house curtains, sconces,.....
This woman has to be a Virgo. The home screams Virgo and it’s stunning! ❤❤❤
Or maybe a scorpio😊 Yes, beautiful, very elegant home👍
Yes! You know us Virgo's because I definitely love this house 😂
I am a Virgo, and yes, except for the marble in the kitchen, it is way too much, I liked the old kitchen except for the gray walls.
I am a Virgo but this home doesn’t reflect my personality at all. It is beautiful though.
Is that why I love this?! I'm a Virgo! LOL
This house is so luxurious but romantically looking. The stairway and hallway remind me of the movie Gone With the Wind. And everything is beautiful. I like the whimsically appealing of the front of the house and the Ralph Laurence’s furnitures and things. Amy Havin Albor house is Belle.
Great foundation - just needs curtains (with color/texture). art (also more color) and plants to add dimension so that it doesn't look like they are afraid of color.
My favorite thing about this house IS the soft, elegant, easy on the eye monochromatic color scheme. Everything is well appointed and doesn’t need anything else. Not everyone loves a lot of “color”.
But they are "afraid of color." (not literally, of course) They don't prefer it. 🤷♀️
@@jenjones8353 color doesn't have to be loud to have a positive impact. The rooms need more layers and contrast to avoid looking flat.
So pretty! I love her style. Cozy but luxurious
It’s beautiful home, but I personally like color, pattern and a lot of personality. But, to each their own, and it is a lovely home.
I agree susan, it's lovely but I defo like more colour and character 😊
Beautiful house but not Ralph Lauren style
I saw a plaid pillow and a tennis racket. Doesn't that count?
@@rosemarynewman1876 that’s funny 😄
Definitely not Ralph Lauren.
@@rosemarynewman1876😂😂😂
Beautiful home, I love it. You can never go wrong with ETSY😍😍😍😍🥰
Love it! Again home worthy, i cannot see what is being spoken about!! So maddening. Just because she doesn't have color doesnt mean it is not cozy. I like her home. Who has this many books? Girl, i will raise you a book collection that I have actually read.
many , many people buy books.......to read not to decorate with .
I've mentioned this in the comments section in previous tours as well. I realize it's a lot of work to do these home tours - but when a person it speaking of a specific item or detail during the tour - making sure to do a close up or at least some focus on said detail would be so satisfying...
What a gorgeous home. One of my favorites I’ve seen on Homeworthy. Thanks for sharing.
The “up speak “ is incredibly annoying! The house is beautiful!
People don't realize they are doing this. My niece does it. Not a few hostesses on Homeworthy do it. It's OK to give them a heads-up with helpful intent!
Lovely sophisticated home. This is a style I enjoy because it feels serene to me. I always struggle a little seeing people who have the wealth to have homes like this. But I like to see ideas that inspire me for my smaller tract type home.
Such a beautiful house! Very warm and welcoming. Love the history.
Beautiful!!! I love Homeworthy!!! Thank you for sharing these gorgeous homes!!♥️♥️
I love everything about your house. I love the flow and the scale of your spaces and your attention to
Detail. I could move in and not change a thing.
She did her thang!!! It looks amazing 🖤 and as a marketing girly I love the branding for the house 😂 also I worked for RL back in the day and it totally gives RL vibes 🐎
The chandelier over the bath is lovely.
Gorgeous! An impressive home, your hard work surely paid off! Enjoy in health and joy.
“Things don’t matter” in a home filled with things! How privileged is that comment! Nonetheless, love the green room the most as well as the kitchen nook. A home of opulence indeed!
What a stately home. It looks like 80 years old. Love the old paintings, moldings and materials. It has enormous spaces and will fill in with other things with time.
That house is way to formal for a built in bench… that curve in the wall is for a console table or something similar. The house feels bare..
Absolutely beautiful home!
Magnificent ❤
“Always include a family photo” when buying a house.
No, do not do this.
This is not permitted in a bid situation. Now let's think why.
@@ruralangwin Right???? Such priviledge.
She knew what she was doing that's why she did it. I almost stopped watching right then and there!
That was so weird.
I know she just contacted her out of the blue but in bidding wars interested buyers will include a bio of themselves/family hoping to stand out from the rest hoping a longtime homeowner/seller will want to pass it down to them. Picture of themselves though is weird and can be construed in an unwanted /unethical way.
I LOVE this house!
ha ha one of the Porche's love that! Gorgeous home
Beautiful clean classic.
I love Homeworthy because they find the most interesting homes and decor! Nothing about this home is special or unique. Keeping things cohesive is a lack of imagination - not making a house make sense.
I find this house very calming and I enjoy seeing what other people do with their homes.
It is pretty much a given that people who need to impress using money to do so usually don’t have or come from it. Wealthy people live life tastefully and quietly.
This has to be one of my favorites! Simply stunning.
Absolutely wonderful💕
I mean, the house is beautiful and elegant but it seems kind of empty. I’m just not feeling depth and character.
100%. It looks like straight out of a magazine. From my experience this is often the problem with rich people's home: they have so much money that they can afford to make it look perfect all the time. Except perfect lacks character and warmth. Imperfections are what makes it a home.
They moved into the home not too long ago. That comes with time as they love here and add personal things with time.
My favorite Tik Tok star!! I love how clearly and slowly you spoke on the tour. Very zen and calming.
Una casa elegante, sobria y muy formal. Disfruté mucho este recorrido. Gracias por compartir ❤
I would have liked to have seen more photos from that huge book
The home is stunning as so is the homeowner. Impeccable style! Kudos to the homeowners. Great tour! Thank you Amy for the tour.
Love your Ralph Lauren inspired home tour! May be my favorite so far this year.
I love how this home is very approachable. She accomplished to combine
a high-end vibe without having it look too pretentious. Love her unique style 🥰
So gorgeous ❤
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Oh my goodness, this is stunning! Totally me vibe. I love this sooooo much🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful home. The owner shared some really helpful tips for decorating a home. This video is what I needed to help me stop running around like crazy while decorating my newly renovated home: House rugs, house drapes, house sconces, etc. BRILLIANT!!!!! Plus her aesthetic matches mine. Love this house.
Question: Do you renovate and decorate houses/homes for others?
Beautiful home! Very tranquil! My favorite room was the green bar! I definitely see the Ralph Lauren influence.
What a beautiful livable home. I loved everything about it.
Love the fireplaces!
Amy, love your philosophy of " marble and live" as well as " pizza on china". Thanks for the tour of your lovely home 😊
Absolutely love this home and the calming, neutral vibe. I also got a chuckle out of the "house" logo, carpet, drapes, and paint color. It definitely makes the home feel cohesive and I would love to live in this space.
This house is very clean and pristine, it's definitely her style with a desire for Ralph Lauren vibe..l guess they really just wanted that location since she re-did every room to their liking..some lovely touches throughout.
Fabulous home. Great job 👏
Bad luck to open umbrella indoors
This home is so elegant!!! What a great taste👍 Most I love the dining room and the bathroom of their daughter. Beautiful😊 Greetings from Germany and all the best to this family🍀
I absolutely love the entry hall. And the house is really pretty. She lost me at the Half Price Books question though, “I mean, who has this many books lying around?” People who read typically do. I think the comments reflect what many of us feel watching these tours-not jealousy but more of how self absorbed and unaware of the real world people with money can sometimes be. The lack of self awareness that they are somehow regular people because they eat pizza off of China is glaring. But who are we to judge? Everyone goes through struggles regardless of their social status. Money makes it easier though. Stressed? Go have a Cuban cigar in your office. Or make some soup on your Italian stove. The vocal fry and up speak don’t help.
Still, the house is pretty.
This is absolutely one of the most beautiful homes I've ever seen here on Homeworthy.
Beautiful home ❤ Still needs to be lived in.
Beautiful!
Love this home! This is one of my favorites on Homeworthy!❤
Such a beautiful home! 😍 so much inspiration to draw from. The comments here are quite nasty. Her reality may not be yours, but it’s HER reality. Let her live in it without projecting your insecurities onto her
Her husband has an oil comapy..so there's that
I wondered. Good for them. She seems...sheltered.
Beautiful house
👏👏👏
I get ideas from every home on Homeworthy, It's like going to a friend s house and seeing something she did and Thinking I'm going to try that here!
This is such a beautiful home.
Lovely home, so serene. I have to have at least a tiny touch of a pretty color myself, but it's gorgeous. Btw, that wood in the library is yummy!
Incredible home!!!
It's beige.
This lady is brilliant, the absolute best house I’ve seen. The cost must have been in enormous but worth it.
