Thanks Angie~ Yes, many times I add in ink, its how I do detail. I will see if I Can do more, landscapes usually don't inspire me at the same time I love hiking and always want to paint my photos such as this one. If they are not a bit different technique or little more abstract, I just don't stay interested. I'm glad you enjoyed and hope you have fun with it!
I love the use of the salt, old credit card, and the fan brush. The fan brush excites me for some reason. ❤ Thank you!!
Its quite fun! And was so easy, what really did it for me was double loading it. And I loved that earthy brown! I dont naturally use salt, cc's, and such, but sometimes I want to really play! Happy creating freind

This is wonderful using different brushes than the round ones. Have fun more often, it is very enlightening and the results stunning. I would love a demonstration of the first landscape you have shown. I love that you mentioned Bob Ross. I started my exploration of art with his guidance as many others as well. You are quickly becoming one of my favourite teacher. Love all the tips you share, they are priceless.

Just started watching, but I must say, your watercolor skies are beautiful.
Thank you, this particular one was a bit basic, I wanted to focus on the hills :-) Typically i use tissue and create some little clouds, and various colors, for a sunset feel. Tip for skies, wet the area, dampen no puddles, drop in your blues, and then tilt your paper sideways so the paint runs into som organic patterns. Have fun!

Have fun! This little fan brush makes it pretty easy, dont load it with too much water... that way you will get some interesting texture and just a bit of dry brush :-) Have fun most of all, you will get the hang of it!

I'm so far behind on your tutorials 🤦🏼 I've been busy taking care of my dad as much as I could that when I got home each night, I was so tired and hurting! But, I decided I would paint and pen and ink those flowers with the watercolor over them! (Your video a few days ago) I love ya teach ❤️✝️🙏🏻
The good thing is they are always here for you :-) Take your time, maybe just play with a couple little flowers, or brushstrokes, no thinkers :-) Just so you can wet t hose brushes and play! Maybe a page of splatters, circles, triangles! I completely get it friend, I help my parents every week and still pt working my "other" job time is precious, family is everything, and also dont forget to give yourself permission to do something for you xo Love you too, hang in there friend, Even watching videos can be peaceful, and bring a little joy. Im always ere for you friend!

I rarely pick up my fan brush, but occasionally try to go through my arsenal of brushes and figure out how I can use them more~ Have fun with it, I love finding various ways to use brushes. Have fun!
Debbie! You and I are almost neighbors! I'm in riverside! I loved playing with you this morning! I bought some cheap paper from the Dolla Tree and when I got it home i discovered it's like canvas for oil or acrylics.ive been trying the water color since that's the only pain I have.took a bit of experimenting but it's working! A bit of a learning curve but it's fun.now I'm trying different methods to fix on card stock.i think double sided tape is going to work! I wish u could see what I did with you th8s morning.
