I haven’t drawn it out yet since I’m crocheting tonight, but I kind of have a rough sketch idea in my head. I just love, love, love that stylized look. It’s so fresh and fun!! ❤️

You stated not all complementary colors can be contrasting. I don’t understand that. Contact is a difference in things like warm and cool, large and small, a light value and a dark value. Complementary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel…red and green for example. If I have a light shade of red and a dark shade of green, this would be a contrast between two complementary colors. Contrast and complementary have different definitions.

Good morning MsGail, I would have edited it out and thank you for reminding me, I will do a correction in my description. What I meant to say (and what was my intention in my head it just came out wrong) is.. Creating contrast can also be done with using a dark and light value, they contrast, using a very detailed leaf next to a very light value, soft leaf, all colors across from each other are contrasting, although its to the only way to achieve contrast. Colors right next to each other could be contrasting if you vary their value. This is specifically from my notes "Contrasting colors are those that differ significantly from each other in terms of hue, value, or saturation. They stand out against each other, creating a vibrant and dynamic effect." I hope that helps and going in right now to my description to clarify~ Ive been meaning to share an entire post on this.... hoepfully soon
