What happens if this doesn't get diagnosed and treated for thirty years? I went to my doctors twenty years ago and they gave me opioid painkillers but all this did is allow me to tolerate more and more pain so I'm now thirty years in and no physiotherapy was done and I'm now in horrific pain. How do I get this diagnosed and treated? It's not showing up on x-ray or MRI.

For 30 years? I mean there are so many potential outcomes based on sports you play, life style, your mobility, etc
I give exercises you can try in the video. They’re generalized and might help but if you’re in that much pain and want a diagnosis… then go see a different doctor that doesn’t just prescribe pain meds.

Yeah thirty years! I broke my back had surgery but following the accident I started to limp with an uneven gait which caused unstable ankle and after a while that caused my knee to become injured and that caused snapping hip. When I went to the doctors for help a surgeon guessed that the pain was being caused by my spinal injury repair, I was given opioids which masked the snapping hip symptoms and allowed a further twenty years of overuse.
My question is not about analgesics or not my question is when does snapping hip become an injury that needs more than just conservative treatment? Physiotherapy does not work for me now it's too painful, I'm vomiting and passing out. How much time do you have to treat this with physiotherapy before physiotherapy is impossible?
What is the best surgical options for snapping hip this bad?
Is dynamic/real-time ultrasound capable of showing the tendon popping?
Would physiotherapy be possible after ultrasound guided injection?

Should we do the exercises on both sides?

    • @Rachelllllll2024

Any time something is wrong with you, you should also strengthen and stretch the opposite side because the "good" side tends to overcompensate and that tends to eventually lead to issues on that side.

This is a ver precious video on YT since I did not see anything like similar for this. SO precise contents and helpful!
Just one question: if I have my snap on the right ,but the Faber test is positive on the left and the right itself is super opened, do you think your exercises are both good as well?
    Thanks!
