Right I don't understand why people keep forgetting this! Sometimes in cases there is no DNA or weapon with blood found at the suspects home hidden. RA admitted to being there & he admitted to wearing same clothes as BG and happens to have a gun that matches evidence found near scene of crime and confessed but NOW conveniently says he was mentally unstable when doing so. I mean out of what they do have who else is the evidence pointing too??
Looks nothing like the guy in the video. He "confessed" after going loopy and having already "confessed" to murdering family members which obviously turned out to be completely false. You're a bit simple minded, aren't you?
@texasburbs4380 Bob Motta….he and his wife are defense lawyers. If you REALLY want a honest unbiased opinion that is based on LAW. You should look him up! He knows his business. Not a “slick slimy” lawyer either! He has important information to say.
I’ve been following this case from the start. I didn’t just now jump on board, nor did I make a “podcast” for profit about it. Nothing that was released or said in the first few days, months and years (Doug Carter I’m looking at you Sir) leads to Mr. Rick Allen. They have the wrong guy!
@susieturk1. Delphi Indiana has a population of 3000 people. And you say there are two separate cemeteries there? Would there be a religious reason for that? When I was growing up, there was a separate cemetery for Jews. I don’t know if they had a religious reason.
Why so many confessions if he didn't do it. He looks like the guy in the video. If he is I hope he doesn't get away with this because the investigation was compromised.
Being locked up in a maximum security prison in protective custody, meaning 23 hours a day you are locked in a cell before being found guilty. Would probably make most sane people confessed to a crime they didn’t commit. Richard Allen has a history of mental illness so that’s probably why he confessed 60 times.
Surely the prosecution have more then this? The DA should never have agreed to let this case go ahead, Do they still have double jeopardy there?? 🤯🤯 These girls and their loved ones deserve JUSTICE
How does one person murder two young , healthy teenage girls at the same time ,by themselves? Dont you think one of the girls would have run away to get help once the first girl was first attacked ??
To ask that question means that you've never been in a situation where you froze up from debilitating fear. Debilitating fear will stop you in your tracks. And if you don't come out of it, it will stay until the trauma is over. Unfortunately, it ended badly for them.
Two young girls will definitely do what they're told. Very easy to understand. I'm amazed people think they would run. Adult women don't run. When is the last time you heard that occur?
The bullet evidence and false confessions should be thrown out. Is there any DNA? Cell phone data? Surveillance video? I'm curious what his wife thinks of the Bridge Guy video. She would know if that was him. I also wonder if they did voice analysis.
Used to live in monticello around the time of these murders and it shook the community many had orange lights dedicated to the girls on there porches and everyone seemed to stay indoors more at night. Poor girls 💔 huge justice needs to be served! Especially since it took what felt like forever to discover the person who caused these horrific murders.
@@Occams_Razor489 According to all of the court filings, nothing was found at Richard Allen's house. The reason the defense wants the search warrant thrown out is simply to remove the bullets from the equation. The bullets, however, are the same kind used by law enforcement so its not even important.
Still confused by why someone would park that far away from the trail when there’s a parking lot right at the freedom bridge. I went there in August and can’t justify it.
I agree with you. I have not heard one thing that really points to this guy at all. They are trying to frame him. The bullet wasn’t even photographed fully and correctly and should be tossed out as compromised. That only leaves the so called confessions of a person who was treated in appalling conditions so that he suffered a psychotic break. That should be tossed out as well which leaves them with nothing. I’m open to hearing any genuine evidence because justice is only served if the real killer or killers are punished. Sending an innocent man to prison for this crime is a travesty.
2:50 mins..🤔 So,he has them both disrobe(intending on SA)but, was "interrupted"..so,he then had Abby put Libby's clothes on and then killed them???? What..🤨
@@shampoochampionnot necessarily. She could've been told to dress herself under threat also DNA touch transfer is iffy. It's great if it's there but not everything you touch leaves behind your DNA. Same with fingerprints
If you're going to SA two girls, one girl's clothes were found in the water, how did they get there? And why put one girls' clothes on the other? Both things take time. Unless he was comfortable, knew the area, and no one was going to interrupt him. Which goes against them saying he must have been interrupted. This isn't making sense.
I have watched countless of programs like this, inevitably the defendant always confesses while incarcerated, it is usually another inmate they bring in to testify, but this one is different because he allegedly confessed to his wife and mother.
The thing that sucks about this whole thing besides the horrible death of these young girls is the state case seems very very lose. I don’t believe they have a strong enough case. More details are coming out tho right? I hope they get the RIGHT person and get justice for the families.
I know! People seem to be forgetting this important information. If this was planned, the killer would have to know the girls were going to the bridge to meet who they thought was Anthony Shots

He said from the beginning that he was there! He also told what they outfit was that he was wearing that matches! Coincidence never happens!!!! That was him! Bridge guy IS Richard Allen!
Yes. He even went to law enforcement two days after the murder and admitted to being on the bridge that day. And? It doesn't prove that he is the person that killed them
Notice bob motta only ever talks about what baldwin says then minimalises whats agaisnt allen? Now you know where the $40k went raised by the defense hes a known lawyer and disgraced one at that
He also sits in the designated area behind the defense. Away from the other reporters/public. I’m guessing that has something to do with why he only talks positively of the defense
Also notice he made light of the Prosecution opening then called the Defense opening "An hour of fact filled theories." "Fact filled" and "theories" are not the same thing. If it was fact, it wouldn't be theory.
Hairs do not fall out with the full root intact! That hair was one of a clump ripped out. They missed one. that hair 100% Belongs to one of the killers!

So far, I agree. Right now they really have nothing. Hoping the real person that committed this crime is held accountable. Maybe there’s some real evidence coming up that we haven’t heard yet.
Wait, there is no DNA linking Allen to the murders? So Ron Logan, the first suspect had 15 different phone tipsters who called in and said he was Bridge Guy? I had never heard that. Unless they have evidence they haven't presented it sounds like his confessions and the marks on the bullet might be it. Those ejection marks are not the same kind of impact marks made by a firing pin but much less pronounced scratch marks on the inside of the casing rim. Are his confessions lucid statements or the disordered ramblings of a mentally disturbed individual? 60 confessions are a helluva lot.
Let's not forget RA admitted to being there that day in the same clothes as BG. I mean that's pretty damming on its own. I would hope they have more but it still points to one person & it's still RA.

They took them off the bodies and put them in a pile on the ground then decided 3 weeks later to go back & collect the sticks after they were out in the elements smh!
He looks like he could’ve been the guy in the photo, but since he was arrested, I just don’t have that feeling of “that’s the guy”, that I almost always have with these. I don’t know why. Maybe there was another involved? I feel like they should have his DNA on their bodies if it was him. I’m not sure if they have that. And I’m not sure if they’re going to win this.
I can't blieve they're not letting cameras in to record. I feel like they're doing, expecting or covering something shady when they do that. All public 'should' be able to view the trial. That's how the ppl ensure that justice is working as it should. I don't blieve court proceedings should be allowed to be held from public view. I get that providing adequate space is not feasible, but televising is and should be done as a matter of course.
I can't believe people really think its Richard Allen. I think the context of the confessions is going to SHOCK people. For example, RA wants his wife to move on with her life but she refuses, so he starts saying he committed the crime to try and get her to move on. To an outside observer, its very sad to hear him breakdown like that. There is really nothing pointing to Richard Allen. The bullet - the exact kind used by law enforcement - is bunk science.
@Pohonesty yeah he just happened to be there at the same time, in the same clothing and resembles the man in the video but its not him.I guess when you spent years accusing other people it's hard to comprehend reality.
Not true - he made the statement “ if this gets to be too much for you I will tell LE what they want to know”. RA said this to his wife on recording two weeks after he was arrested. They also said it was a female hair from Libby’s family. If you get someone to make comments at least get someone that will say it all. Plus let’s get his phone were he says he was looking at stocks but the defense doesn’t bring that up. Plus the cops were carrying 9mm at the time. Why get this guy that leaves out so much
Abby was not wearing a tied dyed tshirt….that was Libby’s shirt. Abby had on a maroon sleeveless shirt (see baseball practice with grandpa photo). Same shirt as the so called bridge photo.
The man in the video is not Richard Allen. There’s no way, Richard is 5’4, not a big man, I believe the state of Indiana tortured Richard inside that prison. Abby and Libby deserve justice but they deserve the truth to be told, not the b.s. the failed investigation is trying to piece together. Ind violated the rights of Richard Allen out of desperation to charge someone, maybe anyone.
He admitted to being on the bridge at the same time as the murders happened, he described his clothes as the exact same as the ones seen on video and he's made numerous confessions, most of which contain the 'only the killer would know' information. He is bridge guy and he killed those girls
