We would certainly do the propane water heater again. We did learn to cover the hose when not in use to prevent trash from getting in that clogged our hose before. We also learned the hard way to drain the water heater in the winter when not in use. Other than that, we had great luck with the water heater. We did have a vent and exhaust fan in the bathroom that we would open when taking a shower to vent any fumes but we honestly never had any fumes. We also had a carbon monoxide detector that never went off.
Thank you! If you want to check out my other video of the camper, it shows the before pictures and the build as well as the chairs converted into beds.
You might opt to add removable or collapsible legs to the rear door so as to create an extended patio area. Add magnets and roll up split screen door style for additional fresh air and patio access. Luv how y’all added the windows and a nice touch of exterior color to your retro style camper. 🚌
@@campingtinylivinglarge9733 Thanks. I was thinking could get two and have the option of turning two into a wider bed as needed with a mattress topper and a strap to keep the together.
Looks great. I would have probably go with a single large bed though. So do you remove the propane lines when traveling? I like the kitchen and bathroom layout.
We’ve actually made some modifications since this video. I’ll be posting an updated video soon showing the modifications. We do remove the propane lines when traveling.
Good job making use of the space. A couple of safety items to consider: smoke alarm, propane alarm and GFCI protection since you have power so close to water. Might as well just protect the whole trailer.
