We almost got those chair beds for our cargo conversion, but decided to do bunks instead. We started with a full, but it just took too much space. We're pretty happy with the bunks. How do you like the propane water heater, would you buy it again?

    • @campingtinylivinglarge9733
      @campingtinylivinglarge9733  Год назад +1

      We would certainly do the propane water heater again. We did learn to cover the hose when not in use to prevent trash from getting in that clogged our hose before. We also learned the hard way to drain the water heater in the winter when not in use. Other than that, we had great luck with the water heater. We did have a vent and exhaust fan in the bathroom that we would open when taking a shower to vent any fumes but we honestly never had any fumes. We also had a carbon monoxide detector that never went off.

    How do you go about getting linece plates for a camper like thaf?

    • @campingtinylivinglarge9733
      @campingtinylivinglarge9733  3 года назад +1

      We licensed ours as a utility trailer but we saw a RUclips video a couple of days ago where someone registered theirs as a camper. The license office just had us make up a vin number for it. We found a place online that made a metal plate with the vin number on it to put on the trailer.

      @@campingtinylivinglarge9733 Ok because I can get a pop-up camper and I would like to make a mini camper out of it. And didn't know how to go about it. Thanks for the info.

    What type of car do you drive to pull it? Love the colors.

      We have pulled it with our Dodge Durango before but it struggled a little with hills so now we pull it with an 8 cylinder Ram 1500 Big Horn truck.

    Love the retro look. My husband is doing something similar to our cargo trailer but we are hitting an issue with getting the AC in - and since we are in Florida and an AC is a must. We tried a portable unit but it just wasn't cooling enough. I love how you did your AC, I like how it is not hanging outside the trailer. My question is how did you handle the water drainage for the AC?

    Awesome build. How much did it cost, aside from the trailer itself?.

    • @campingtinylivinglarge9733

      At the time of this video we estimate about $5000 including the trailer, which was only $500.

    Great build. Are you using a white rv fresh water hose? They make a hugh difference. I live full time in a 6x12 converted Cargo trailer. How do you run your grey water from your shower?

      We made a tank out of PVC pipe for the grey water when sewer isn’t available but we can hook to sewer. We are not using a white RV fresh water hose so we will look into that. Thank you for the tip!
