i love the simplicity with the functionality! most people over do it and then it gets to the point where they could have just bought something used for the same price. yall figured it out!
Your shower is genius. Simple space saving ideas. Solutions that are simple, are the best, in my opinion and experience. I have lived in a Ford Transit van for five years. I may copy your shower solution 😊
I watch video after video of people spending over a hundred thousand for RVs, and then I see this, and this makes way more sense, and it looks way easier to travel with without getting hassled about parking. The room and the head space is perfect in that trailer. Even your shower has more space than an RV. Good video! Thumbs up!
A couple of times we've unhooked then parked right next to it with the truck. Basically it fits in a parking space. Very nice to have a compact footprint.
RV’s are made very cheaply, especially during the pandemic. The best way to go is what this person did. Get a well made cargo trailer and convert it to a camper.
Thanks. I have watched hundreds of RUclips videos on van conversion. I like your technique to fold the bed against the wall. I will try to do the same in my cargo van. God Bless you and your wife.
that shower set up is the most brilliant idea I have seen in all the thousands of van and trailer conversions I have seen..so simple. thank-you thank-you thank-you
That is the best conversion I’ve seen on here. Very simple yet FUNCTIONAL!! Keeping it simple is the way to go. I see too many people trying to cram every comfort possible into one of these. The idea is to be comfortable at a reasonable price on trips and save money. Love the shower idea.
Love the simplicity of your design! The shower is brilliant. More room than a traditional shower. Great video and hope you have lots of fun adventures!
So, basically a Goneagain build. Nice work. That Goneagain guy really knows how to do things effectively, minimalist, and inexpensively. Love the updates to his bed design.
Love the goneagains lol, the trailer looks great. You kept it roomie, i like a lot of the builds that go all out but they end up with a cramped feeling.
Another idea you may use for a shower is a sprayer( like you would mix bug spray in to spray your plants with). They make an awesome sprayer for a shower and it's easy to use only a gallon or so of water for a shower.
@@bobmirror7164 I feel ya. I've taken many baths that way while camping. I suggest a sprayer because of better control of the water. You can easily wash even long hair and your body with a gallon sprayer. And it's easy to heat water and get the right temperature too.
Love all your ideas......more floor space at entrance with the angle of kitchen, the split bed/bench fold up, and the best inside shower idea I have seen. Great job.
Thank you for sharing your ideas. What a great conversion. Your beds are the best I’ve seen. It's literally a one minute job, to put together, then break down. Thanks again.
For sitting on the bed, you might try one of the folding, soft stadium seats. That way you have a back for support but something that is light and foldable to put away.
This is an impressive conversion that still allows you to haul cargo when necessary. You could make your own mobile theater by adding a pull down screen and soundbar to the cover at the top of the ramp and a small projector mounted on your ceiling. All you would need after that is a popcorn machine.
Thank you for sharing your setup! Most of the videos I have seen on trailer conversions are way over the top (and way over the budget). I've been looking for easy simple solutions and you have given me some great ideas to add to my plans. Thank you!
I have been looking for a shower and sleeping solution for my 7x16 for a month and think I found it! I have to haul a Kubota RTV900 Utility vehicle yet need an area to sleep as well. Your solution ticks all the checkboxes! Your shower solution looks awesome and is 'gone' when not in use. For my build, I am thinking to put the drain under the bed and have a way to fold the shower curtains against the wall once dry. Yeah, I'd have to stow one side of the bed during a shower but I think it would be a small price to double-use the available space. Great Build and New Sub #193!
Thanks! I give credit to the step by step tutorial on sailright.com. It made this project possible even for me. I did have a few do overs but prevailed in the end. I bought extra materials for these events and glad I did.
Excellent use of bed space, large shower space, toy carrying capability! One of the best I’ve seen. Suggestion: plumb kitchen sink and shower permanently under trailer dumping to bucket ogether, or? Didn’t understand the window being so low, must rewatch to see your great logic!
The trailer was owned by a contractor before us and the “window” was actually an access panel for a compressor. We added a screen and now have a crazy low window. Still lets in the breeze and the light even if it’s at knee level. Thanks for the kind words.
Gonagain fan too very nice ideas gets me thinking ..I would find a way to drape shower curtain after it dry to ceiling or side wall and leave it up.. Oh what memories ..Together..
Excellent and smart! Love it! Very cool shower & bed!!! Thank you. I feel like this is reasonable & within reach economically plus it’s stealthy. As a single woman I’d fee safer in this I think. Great job!
Go Minnesota! I love your build. I’m a Minnesota girl too --you guys did a fabulous job! beautiful --I have a similar trailer, you’ve truly inspired me.
Well, first of all you started out with a kick in’ trailer. And that low window although odd, would be loved by any pet. Your work looks clean, well thought out and pleasing to the eye. The sewing job looked good. Zippers in boxing are not nearly as easy to create as people would think.
Thanks you. Aluma makes a great trailer, I’m glad we came across this one while we were looking. Agreed on the zippers. We watched a couple good tutorials but it still took some trial and error to get it right. The method shown on sailright.com was the easiest for us. Happy trails!
Good video, I am working on a 6'x10' at the moment, and like yourselves take many tips from gonagain. I also need the trailer for bikes and if needed cargo, so the the tiny house idea with to much in a small space is not for me. You have done a fantastic build, and good luck in your travels. Richard from Ontario..
Very good simple job love the beds,an even e Ryan thing at the front noes. Thanks for your video. I live in GA.FLY ON THE WALL IN WASHINGTON DC. Am I on your DC office windows? Have you even looked at all? Why no. Hi.
For y shower I used an old ice cooler with wheels (or any type of bucket, etc.) to hold shower water then I bought a 12 volt water pump and rigged my suction hose (goes in cooler) and outlet hose with sprayer head. Find a power source and voila you have a shower!! It's portable and can be used anywhere. I like how you did you're drain port, but do you get water outside of the curtain?
A guy a few blocks over , has one very similar, he has three Mexican girls that live in it... They take off somewhere every weekend and sometimes for a whole week....
i love the simplicity with the functionality! most people over do it and then it gets to the point where they could have just bought something used for the same price. yall figured it out!
That was our goal. Simple, light, roomy, versatile.
Cool I agree. Simple and perfectly functional👌🏽
Your shower is genius. Simple space saving ideas. Solutions that are simple, are the best, in my opinion and experience. I have lived in a Ford Transit van for five years. I may copy your shower solution 😊

A couple of times we've unhooked then parked right next to it with the truck. Basically it fits in a parking space. Very nice to have a compact footprint.
Those hundred thousand dollars rvs are worthless as time goes on waste of money 💰
Nice Trailer! What weight did it start out at & what does it weigh now?
RV’s are made very cheaply, especially during the pandemic. The best way to go is what this person did. Get a well made cargo trailer and convert it to a camper.
In most cases, diy may not be as flashy but is quality and built to last and not skimpy just to make a profit.
Thanks. I have watched hundreds of RUclips videos on van conversion. I like your technique to fold the bed against the wall. I will try to do the same in my cargo van. God Bless you and your wife.
that shower set up is the most brilliant idea I have seen in all the thousands of van and trailer conversions I have seen..so simple.
thank-you thank-you thank-you
It works really well, but it wasn't our idea. I saw it on Gonagain's channel.
Great bed system and shower system. Well thought out and very frugal. I love it.
She is so calming and peaceful. It is a pleasure to watch this tour-great bed set up.
This is about the best conversion I have seen and I have seen thousands.
Well thank you! We sure like it.
One of the most open, easy, and functional conversions I’ve seen. Great job.
Wow, thanks!
I love the way you did the shower. I also like the bed setup. Thanks
Tom B.
Not sure how U guys popped up on my feed, however, I totally enjoyed & admired the DIY set up/build! Great work.
Thanks for tour & happy camping!!!
Thanks for watching and the kind words
Very simplistic, and budget friendly!! Nice conversion!
So, basically a Goneagain build. Nice work. That Goneagain guy really knows how to do things effectively, minimalist, and inexpensively. Love the updates to his bed design.
Thank you. We are not quite as minimalist but still try to keep things simple.
Love the goneagains lol, the trailer looks great. You kept it roomie, i like a lot of the builds that go all out but they end up with a cramped feeling.
This is FABULOUS !!!
What a GREAT build!
The bed and shower are really cool.
Thank you for the Tour.
Glad you liked it!
Another idea you may use for a shower is a sprayer( like you would mix bug spray in to spray your plants with). They make an awesome sprayer for a shower and it's easy to use only a gallon or so of water for a shower.
That's exactly what we use! We love it!
Zodi has a portable shower that you can heat up like that I have it and it’s awesome
I was about to suggest the garden sprayer. It works great for a shower and washing dishes, pretty much anything you need running water for.
I am so perplexed as to why people do not understand how to pour water over their body from a bucket dipper cup or a milk jug filled with warm water.
@@bobmirror7164 I feel ya. I've taken many baths that way while camping. I suggest a sprayer because of better control of the water. You can easily wash even long hair and your body with a gallon sprayer. And it's easy to heat water and get the right temperature too.
Thank you for sharing this video this trailer is very well thought out the shower is the smartest idea I've seen in a whilethank you again👍👍👍
Thanks. The idea isn’t ours but the execution is so we’ll take credit for that!
Love all your ideas......more floor space at entrance with the angle of kitchen, the split bed/bench fold up, and the best inside shower idea I have seen. Great job.
We love the space. A lot of these have maximum stuff in them, we are more minimalist I guess.
Thank you for sharing your ideas. What a great conversion. Your beds are the best I’ve seen. It's literally a one minute job, to put together, then break down. Thanks again.
Love Goneagain they rock! I enjoyed your walk thru, good ideas
Hey from mn. Thanks so much for sharing. I love the simple design and the ability to put things away so you can haul.
You are so welcome!
Down to earth fix up...I love it....getting ready to do my 6x12 for the gold camp......good job!!
Very good size for a 7x12. The height makes all the difference and you do not feel claustrophobic. Excellent idea for the shower !
Sure like your setup / Good work, good layout, good clean and minimalist build out ! You two get an A+
We really tried to keep it open and roomy. Thanks for watching.
For sitting on the bed, you might try one of the folding, soft stadium seats. That way you have a back for support but something that is light and foldable to put away.
Thanks for the suggestion. Happy camping!

I didn't plan on a popcorn machine! We're more of watching the fire and listening to the birds types anyway. Thanks for watching and the kind words.
Thanks for all the new ideas! I really like the bed. The shower idea is awesome!
Thinking of changing out the PEX tubing for copper, think it would look pretty nice.
Simple, functional, creative, well done, thanks!
Thank you for sharing your setup! Most of the videos I have seen on trailer conversions are way over the top (and way over the budget). I've been looking for easy simple solutions and you have given me some great ideas to add to my plans. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I like your value minded features! Great job!
I'm all about value.
awesome free space and the shower is great idea too! really nice camper! thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I did enjoy your video and your conversation is very smartly done
Love it! Great workmanship, and economy of space.
Love The idea of the collapsible dog bath. I've never heard of that.
wasn't our original idea, but I know a good one when I see one. Saw it on Gonagain's channel.
Love the dog bath idea. Nice job!
Building camper with a 6X12 cargo trailer now thanks for sharing Like how simple things are layer out.
Hope it was helpful.
That seems so simple and functional. Very minimal cabinetry keeps it roomy.
👍👍👍👍👍
We haven't missed anything we left out yet. Simple and functional is the way we like it.
Nice work! Thank you for taking the time to share this video. 👍
Thank you, it was fun to do.
I love ❤️ the bed design. Cause, it's perfect for a 4 wheeler . THANKS FOR SHARING. 👍
Yes, very handy to get them up out of the way. Thanks!
Wow! Those were quite extensive! 👍
the dog shower pool is genius!
I absolutely love it. This is exactly what I need for hauling my bike to events. Thank you.
Yes, it would be perfect for that.
Y'all are simply geniuses!!
Aw shucks....
Great trailer. Very simple and perfect. Thank you for sharing.

Our drain ends up under a chair, so it is out of the way. the beauty of conversion trailers though, you can do whatever you want!
Sweet setup, cool shower, great job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! I may be re-outfitting my cargo van and you gave me some great ideas.
Glad it was helpful!
Great job with the sewing project! Doing a zipper with limited experience is impressive 👍👍👍
Thanks! I give credit to the step by step tutorial on sailright.com. It made this project possible even for me. I did have a few do overs but prevailed in the end. I bought extra materials for these events and glad I did.
Ingenious! So many functional ideas. Thank you
Glad you liked it!
Nice build. Love your ingenuity!
I love how you set up the bed, that is awesome!
First time seeing your videos. Loved it!
I like that shower idea 👍👍

Watch for "visitors" coming in.
Gonagain fan too very nice ideas gets me thinking ..I would find a way to drape shower curtain after it dry to ceiling or side wall and leave it up.. Oh what memories ..Together..
We use a bungee cord to hold the shower curtain against the wall until it dries. Towels hang from top ring until they are dry,
Great build, I'm making a teardrop that doubles as a toy hauler(dont need a kitchen galley in the back) and I'm stealing that bed setup!
Glad you found an idea you can use!
Nice and simple and gives you lots of options, the way you built it out.
Thanks! 👍
Excellent and smart! Love it! Very cool shower & bed!!! Thank you. I feel like this is reasonable & within reach economically plus it’s stealthy. As a single woman I’d fee safer in this I think. Great job!
Thanks. We were more driven by the fact that it is a quality, durable trailer than stealthiness, but it is certainly both.
Nice efficient design. Gives me a lot of ideas.
Beautiful job.Nice tour as well
Thank you!
Go Minnesota!
I love your build. I’m a Minnesota girl too --you guys did a fabulous job! beautiful --I have a similar trailer, you’ve truly inspired me.
Nice to hear, it was a fun project, and fun to use.
Love y'all setup...Did an awesome job of your conversion. Thanks for sharing...Happy camping!! ✨
Thank you. It was fun to do, and fun to use.
Excellent video nice work simple clean great looking
Thanks 👍
Great job!!! Really like what you have done with that cargo trailer.
Thanks much.

Nice work, some great carpentry skills! Enjoy!

Yall did a great job it looks very comfortable. And funtionable
Thanks!

We love how much room we ended up with. Good luck with yours!
This is a great build! Thanks fir the tour. Do you have a video describing your installation of the NuWay stove? I like the idea of vented propane.
Been looking for a bed idea just like this!
Thank you for sharing! Great job! The shower is epic!
Thanks for watching!
Love the LIGHTS and Shower!
So do we! Thanks
Nice job turning the trailer into a camper. We are loading up a 95 GMC conversion van for our traveling this fall. Have fun
Thanks, you too!
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Nice setup 😀 Cheers from Vancouver 🇨🇦
Vancouver…beautiful country and no mosquitoes!
Nice job! Enjoy your hard work! Thanks!
Nice build. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.
Thanks. Greetings from sunny Minnesota (although it is sunny it is -29F this morning)
nice carpentry, keep it simple! i like your shower idea.
i also went with the grey vinyl flooring in my airstream it does look sharp!
Was a little worried about the vinyl popping loose in our Minnesota winters, but so far so good.
Very good simple job love the beds,an even e Ryan thing at the front noes. Thanks for your video. I live in GA.FLY ON THE WALL IN WASHINGTON DC. Am I on your DC office windows? Have you even looked at all? Why no. Hi.
We loved it. Getting lots of good ideas for our 6x10 cargo trailer build. Thx. :)
Thanks. We watched many videos too before starting our build. Lots of ideas out there.
Awesome job! And you bought a great brand of trailer!
It is a rock solid trailer for sure
Wow wow my respect for this guys and simple and great 👍
Thanks so much. Cheers!
Awesome awesomeness awesomely awesome just awesome and if I can say one thing word about it I would say it's awesome
So…awesome?
Absolutely LOVE this trailer.
As do we!
Nice build... my battery powered shower like that has been going strong for 4 years now. Use it quite a bit during turkey hunting and deer hunting....
Can you share the link for the one you have if it’s still available or if you remember where you got it from? Thanks
The battery power is pretty nice. We’ll have to try again.
great video i wish the volume was up a bit more i missed a few things
Well done. It looks good and comfortable.
your avatar = Triple drinking horn of Odin. Nice!
love this build, that shower was a great idea :)
It wasn't our idea, but it worked out pretty good
Nice and practical conversion. One thing though, dumping greywater isn't allowed everywhere to protect the environment. Always check before you dump.
Nice Build
I like the trailer a lot but I think you guys are awesome!
well, thanks a lot!
Good job! love the bath idea!
Thank you much!
Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

Nope, the curtain stays inside the tub along with the water.
nice and simple build! I like it a lot!
Glad you like it!

I love the cedar ceiling
Hard to beat cedar. Smells great!
I’m a born and raised Texan and it’s just a weird thought that you would need a heater in April 😂. I’ve never turned one on after the first of march
Some years April still has snow on the ground...
Nice set up 🤙🏼😁👍🏼
