Welcome back to Lovebites ! "Edge of the World" LIVE will be a good pick for your next Lovebites track. This progier song showcases a different side of the band. BTW, Lovebites just completed the European leg of their world tour that included 2 gigs in London.
I love watching Haruna playing the drums. She has this adorable smile going on while she is beating the crap out of the kit.

We don't know exactly, but Miyako was 4 to 5 months into pregnancy, giving an extraordinary performance of a full LOVEBITES concert (with many singular responsibilities, such as piano, synth, or keytar). Heavy Metal Never Dies, thanks to LOVEBITES!
One week after Live in Tokyo 2020 (February 2020), Japan went into lockdown. Thirteen months later, "Live in Tokyo 2021" (March 2021) was permitted to take place, albeit with restrictions.
Then, one month before the release of this live DVD/Blu-ray (August 2021), it was officially announced that band leader Miho (bass) had left the band for personal reasons.

At the time of this stage, MIYAKO was pregnant. If you look closely, you can see her big belly.
Her clothes are loose-fitting and she wears low-heeled shoes.

A new EP and a live DVD/Blu-ray both will be released on August 28.
„LOVEBITES EP II“ will contain new songs and also a re-recording of the band’s debut „THE LOVEBITES EP“ for a limited edition.
„Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the live recording of last year‘s Tokyo concert during the Judgement Day tour. It features 7 live versions of songs from the „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“. And also the pre-release „We are the resurrection“ which was the opening track for this show.

So glad you finally got a chance to give this a proper listen, brother! I'll keep this more brief than my Patreon comment, but just a quick mention that I would not be surprised if there was a nod to Dragonforce. After all, Lovebites were the first-named support act ("Special Guests") for Dragonforce for an 11-show gig through the UK in November 2019. And, they draw their influence from a number of bands. In fact, I think Asami said during an interview at Rock Imperium festival that the one band they'd like to do a collaboration or perform on stage with was Judas Priest. Maybe what makes it different is they throw a bunch of their various thrash, power metal, and prog influences into their arrangements. So, there are many changes of pace, as well as change of genre within one song. Just throwing it out there.... Thank again, brother! Much love to you 🫂🫂
One of today's most impressive (metal) bands. Lovebites = perfection in every respect - and that since 2016. They should long have been global metal superstars. Alas, they aren't ... and that hurts (quite a bit).
It's not just that they play so accurately live. Lots of bands can do that. But the bpm. At this crazy speed, beyond 200 bmp. Of course you will also find live performances where a note was off, of course. But still, I find it amazing that such a live performance is even possible. Each of the 5 women has had several 10,000 hours of practice to be able to play like this live. That gets the highest respect from me that I can possibly give. This is fantastic. And no shit, Lovebites, they sound better live than on CD.

Good reaction. This is a great example of LOVEBITES upgrading their studio version to another level live. Asami's awesome belting of the chorus is almost non-existent on the studio track.🤘🤘🐺🔥🌎

LOVEBITES are absolute giants on stage. I hope the Edge of the World is the 2020 live version from Five of a Kind.
Perhaps the difference you're noticing with LOVEBITES is just the quality of the musicianship and the song writing. ACDC, although phenomenally successful, wrote and played very simple songs, a lot of which sounded quite similar. Iron Maiden definitely had talent and wrote good songs (and some great songs), but for me, LOVEBITES are a level above even Iron Maiden in terms of musicianship and songwriting.
I love Lovebites, but sometimes I wonder about their management, a couple of weeks ago they played a pub in London to 300 people. It must have been amazing for those who got tickets, but it does seem a strange choice...
For some reason, they want to have all the club concerts being sold out or at least almost full.
And they don't seem to have too much confidence in what happens outside Japan (where they had 1000 to 2000 people in the audience. I'm curious, how TGT goes, they could attract up to 8000 fans in the audience.
For us fans, it was great to have just 300 people in the audience, but the festivals show, they can easily play for corwds in the 10-thousands! And they will, hopefully...

That is some NEAT powermetal vibe here!!! I Just laughed so hard because i started to headbang at the moment you too, and i realised... we are both bald :D :D Nothing to shake but the head only :D
I think their notso secret weapon is "M&M".....Myako and Midori are so lock together, it's almost uncanny, to be that lock in on a unisyn solo which can go south quickly unless the two guitarst are very confident and in step! And lets not for get that Haruna never stops on the double kicks!

It is nicer in your ears. Also Dragonforce invited Lovebites to tour with them for 11 shows in 2019.

Chief, is no one aware Prof and Ren put out a collaboration ? It is wonderful .
Also Ren could use some support. SiCK Boi video has been removed from YT due to him being sold a beat with a stolen sampke. Now beat creator trying to strong arm Ren into paying enormous amount for a new contract. Details on Ren's community tab. Serms after supporting reactors so totally, he could now use a little support.
Mushroomhead came out with 2 new songs. One is called “Fall in Line” and the other is called “Prepackaged”. Then the band As I Lay Dying has also 2 new songs. The first one is “Burden” and the other one is “The Cave We Fear to Enter.”

Some songs like “Continuum”, “Chasing Shadows”, “Alleviate”, “Heaven Shall Burn”, “The Sickness”, “Paralyzed”, “Heaven in Hiding”, and “Ghost”. These bands are amazing. By chance, you have done any of these videos or bands before then I apologize.
This band has been slowly growing on me. I still wont put them at Iron Maiden level but they are good and insanely talented for sure 😊 also... did Chief just liken himself to a coconut??? 😂 great reaction though. Also I wonder if the drummer feels comfortable having her heel up so high when playing because of wearing high heels? Those things do mess with your calf muscles and that might be the position her foot works the best in now... just speculating
The drummer (Haruna) play in sneakers, She just put on the heels after the show.
Obviously LOVEBITES haven't achieved anything close to the success of Iron Maiden, and (sadly) almost certainly never will. But in terms of musicianship and song-writing, they are (in my opinion) better than Maiden.
@@Meshuggah726 yeah but wearing heels changes how your foot and calf works... so she may have better control when her feet are in a similar position as when shes got heels on
