    Bought the Fenix 7 Pro last month and love it. Overkill for my needs but it spurred me to be more active and now I’m training for a 5k.

      Ditto,i knew the 8 was coming out,so waited,got a huge discount on the fenix 7,which does exactly whT i want it to do,and tbh,theres not much difference between that and the new 8,the price of the new fenix 8 is ridiculous

    add a nylon hook & loop strap. The standard silicon strap is really heavy approx 20g, whereas the nylon strap is like 3g - means you end up with a 50g watch on your wrist. Takes about 10-20s to thread the nylon strap, 5s to remove it. About 5s to clip on/off the silicon. Personally I now just use nylon unless doing lots/long water activity - or swap out for metal/leather for formal / smart occasions. The nylon is just so comfortable and feels so secure with the hook & loop locking mechanisms.

    Agree about being tired of subscription. Got it also because I love not needing my phone to check workout info. Also love more buttons over the Apple Watch along with flashlight and red shift mode. I got the epix pro sapphire. First thought they were gimmicky until I ended up using them everyday. Flashlight so I don’t disturb anyone as I sneak out to get workout in the morning. The red shift mode because it disturb less than a bright screen. If going either fenix or epix 2 can be had for incredible deal if you don’t need flashlight.

    • @the_silver_liningg
      @the_silver_liningg  Месяц назад +1

      Hello Oppenheimer, hmm that is a hard question to answer. I think that really depends on your current fitness level.
      For sure start with short easy runs (even just a few minutes) and gradually built up distance over time. Don’t worry about speed at the beginning, just focus on getting out there consistently. I think in the early days, I alternated between running and walking. This helped me build endurance without overexerting myself.
      I hope some if this helps :0
