I also wanted to say I had much difficulty with Alien Coils for a long time, After I met u up at Vape Slam Syracuse, I came home, regrouped n now my addiction to the Alien Coils has grown... Knockin them out with no problem... Thanks for your tutorials M.Terk much appreciated Hell Yessss!!!!
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate and follow your build tutorials. I especially like the care you take with theory and principles behind building - it makes me a better builder. Idk if you read these, but thank you so much for all you do for the community, and pls keep making build videos! I'm hongry for new methods and exotic build tips!!
MTerk is hands down the KING of alien coils, in any configuration. I don’t know if there’s a better set of aliens available for purchase. I met him at a vape convention in Pomona, Ca a couple years back. Bought a couple sets of these, and he even installed one set for me. That set of coils, no bullshit, are still firing and working like a champ. I have many setups, etc. so no, they aren’t used daily but very regularly. MTerk ROCKS!
One again Thank you for taking the time out to film these tutorials. You and a few others constantly inspire me and have taught me so much over the last seven months. Take it easy brother ✌
You're the Alien master Terk. Thanks for all you do bro. I've had a few pairs of your aliens in my Aelous lite, TM2 and Petri V2 since February /March and they're still going strong. That says a lot. Obviously cycling my attys here and there but it's still super impressive. God bless
I’ve heard of you never watched one of your vids, damn son! Doode has a level of projected confidence that I never see or hear. Subbed for that reason alone, rock on
great video. one of the best... ladies and gentlemen... what our awesome builder buddy stated here about "cycling" your wicks, was the absolute truth. thats a very important piece of info that alot of people forget to mention. i would like to thank you m.terk. very valuable info in this video
m.terk your the man when it comes building. love watching you build and learning new things. would love to keep seeing new videos. I'd like to see a video on the quad core 29g.
Awesome awesome awesome! Thank you for your work bro, tutorials like this inspire novice builders like me to sharpen my skills and try more advanced builds.
good lookin out with doing more videos. personally I don't care what u do cause I will watch no matter what. it amazes me you keep a build that long. I can't help but throw something in each week when I build something. This shit is addicting
very good tutorial. ive never met ya, but ive followed you on here and IG for quite awhile now. you seem like a chill down to earth dude. ive greatly appreciated all of the videos, posts, and products youve put out and i wish ya nothing but success buddy. Have a great labor day and vape safe my friend.
M. Terk. Thank you very much bud. I've been wanting to try this build for a few days now. The key chain does seem to be a fantastic option and I too always used paper clips for my tri-core aliens. Going to give this a shot and thanks again for taking the time to show this video.
best techniques on youtube! and the best music! lots of pretty, pretty ones ... thanks again for a damn good video! keep it up please! tsuka! tsuka! tsuka!
Great tutorial, Mike! I'd honestly never seen the keyring trick. Looks like I'll be building some coils tomorrow. Just eyeballing it but, I'm guessing you need about 12-18 inches of Clapton to build a set?
Hey man thank u again for ur videos ! I learned about a year ago from urs and squidoodes tutorials! And man from learning the alien build from ur videos made it so easy for me to learn so many others ...I can easily build just about any build I've seen and I'm partial to the tsuka the alien and any staple builds and man I've been able to build stagger staples and staple staggertons but it's such a long time consuming process I don't do it as much so if u could upload a staggered build tutorial man I'd greatly appreciate it and I'm sure so many others would as well!
In regards to the cycling thing, should this be done throughout the whole use of the build, or just when you're starting to use it? I like to drip my night/morning vape before bed, take a few puffs, and vape the rest off in the morning, so that's why I ask lol
Such a great build. Learnt something new at every stage of your build. Subscribed. What coil jig is that? I love the way you even out and prep the coils leads for mounting in the rda. Superb.
Awesome vid as always. You're one of the few builders I watch that I genuinely get excited for when I see a new video uploaded. I just love your whole technique and that jig kit it dope! What is it?
I'd like to see you make multiple of the one coil in the one video. The problem I have is each individual coil takes so long to setup that it's almost worth not doing. Clearly you have found a way around this so I'd like to see that in action so I can make enough in one go to last me a while.
thats a beautiful build bro. ive been trying 3 or 4 core fused claptons lately and i couldnt find any tutorials on it. im gonna give this a shot. thanks.
I do the exact same thing you do except the install of the 4 cores. I do two wires and I loop them into the swivel and then tape the end and insert it into the drill. Haven't tried to put them into the three slots but I will see if it works any better. Glad you did this video. Been waiting for it. Seeing that gold TM atty, makes me want one NOW! LIKE RIGHT NOW. Do a framed staple alien next!
what do we do about people who use higher inner diameter, i don't run anything lower than 4mm. what kind of advice would you have for me? ive thought of purchasing a set of your coils and just stretching the inner diameter gently with a series of larger jig rods.
Thanks for the New Alien Video, Now that I have the 3 core Alien down cold, This 4 Core shouldn't be a problem, Oh n seriously, A Key Ring??? Brilliant to say the least... M.Terk u Da Man...
I don't think you know your battery's sir so I'ma give you a little lesson a battery could be 20a continues but the company's who test them don't start mesuring the amps until 10 seconds now a battery can pulse extremely high for an example a 25r can pulse at 35 amps for 5 seconds if you press the button longer it will get hot but won't expoled unless you press the button for 15 seconds on a 0.06 ohm build which I doubt any one can take that long of a hit but remember the coil only takes the power it needs of mechanical devices so to answer your question it's totally safe nothing dangerous going on here I hate it when vape groups get mad at people for having low builds when the person running the Low build knows way more than they ever can the only reason I know so much is cause I used to fix RC cars and drones and I had to learn alot about battery's
well put, izek pretty much cleared it up. Samsung 25R's are rated at 20a CONTINOUSLY. When using a mod you are measly pulsing the batteries as you vape.
Ixzek Hamelius Thank you someone gets it. I don't think people understand the meaning of CONTINUOUS, 20A can be run for awhile before you'd have issues. I'd imagine you'd probably just run it dead first ha. Like you said, when we vape we are pulsing. 2-3 seconds are my average pulls. Series pulls are like 2 sec max. You could even go lower on a parallel box with the split amperage.
man that keyring is an awesome trick!! Also do you have any experience with the pink LGs? They are 30amp 1500mah, I've always found them very reliable. Haven't vented a battery yet and I build around .3 builds for series.
Absolutely Awesome Mike.I'll be trying the key ring next time as I usually just use 7 wraps of 0.8mmRk1 that's nylon crimped onto the core.25R's FTW only other batteries I use are Sammy 30Q's in my DNA200.
what kind of butterscotch do you use tpa, flavor west or flahvor ? I got some killer butterscotch recipes . I only vape butterscotch and i have been mixing for 3 years. its funny cause your from Jersey and I am too and I mix and build and vape the same flavor. I just thought that was funny. DYI or die BRo . excellent wire skills . take care!
Gr8 tutorials bro!I have a question kinda off topic.I have no issues building staple coils but I have lots of trouble wraping it around a screwdriver.Does anyone know a way to wrap staples easily with out a vice or holding a pair of pliers while wraping them?
Sub Ohm Sinner look man, I have had the SAME problem I can NOT wrap a staple coil to save my life I hate them! BUT! My suggestion to you is FRAMED staples! Frame them with 2 pieces of 26g round wire! Go to CMMR VAPOR's channel on RUclips and watch his framed staple video! He will show you the absolute best way to build it if you have trouble and as far as wrapping goes, they wrap just like an alien or fused clapton just keep tension! It's so much easier man!! I use 4-6 pieces of .5X.1 n80 ribbon with 2 26g n80 as the frame and it's no trouble wrapping whatsoever! I know that's not what you asked but I can't wrap a regular staple coil myself lol! But yeah, framed staples are so much easier and wick so much better! They hold way more juice too and less popping in my opinion! Let me know how it works out for you!
Ty bro I do build framed staples basically the same way but I gotta give people what they want lol I try to tell them!! But im moving on to corrugated builds
I hope you keep it up here on RUclips bro ;) lovin your tips and tricks really helped me out on my builds... Already waiting for the next one :) Greetings ToxicalVapes
+Malte Kölling I'm hoping to be more active on here for sure. It's just a very time consuming process to setup, shoot, and edit. Thank you so much for watching and your support!
Yes I guess we all know how time consuming this can be if you want to get out some quality content ;) Anyway even if you can get out 1 Video a month maybe I think it's absolutely worth it :)
loved the coils! i hope i can make them someday! btw following you on instagram already! looking all your pics and snaps! keep doing your thing, and if some of these come to barcelona, i'm gonna take care of them! :)
I've been vapin on that terkish blend and I gotta say its THE BEST butterscotch vape. On a warm to hot build in this cooler Detroit weather, PERFECT...I'll be on this juice till im ready for the fruits again next summer
Dragging the ring sown a wire that's already claptoned would mess up the wrap wire. The best thing I've seen so far is a lil doohickey from USA Ohmeters. Don't know what they're calling it, but they're giving them away free when you buy their swivel tool.
+alex schultheiss depends on how your making the multicore. I first started making them with straight 40g cores between 2-26g an80 cores. Now I twist my bundle of center cores to keep them together.
+xGeemaa I don't look at ratings because I use the same batteries from the same manufacturer. I build all my builds to heat up so fast that I never hold the button for more then a second or two. Like I said in the video I stick to what I know. If I am unsure about a build I put it on a dual or triple mech. Also keep in mind I use light gauge wire for that reason It's way safer.
Great Tutorial @m.terk today i've tested this way of 4 cores with 28/36... i've made the DEcore clapton with 26ga, stretchened and claptoned on 4 28ga cores.. Two attempt, first less and second more stretchened, but i've not found the correct stretch... can you suggest a method to understand if the stretching is enough? TNX
great vid bro, thx to you I can get them 3 cores done. Really appreciate the tutorials, and how you explain things. I would like to see a vid on how you do staggered variations. Thx again
nevermind. great stuff. your video last year was great for aliens. id like to see a framed staple with .4 or 4 ribbon and 28 or 26 frames with 38 outer
+Sean McAllister i dont use a key ring. i use a cord stop. something you would find on a winter jacket or hoody. got them on online for a dollar. works perfect simce its round and smaller than a key ring. and lighter
Great tutorial. You make some of the best looking aliens. I'd really like to see you do the enigma alien coil. There is a lack of "good" tutorials on here, hope to see more from you.
Likewise, stretching just the right amount. How do you work that out, I just can't seem to get the correct stretch so that it matches the core width. Whats the trick?
Ben Howard I was told strech it so half of the cores that it is supposed to Go arround . so for a 3 Core you strech it so 1.5 cores fit into the space between the loops of the streched claptoning
Ben Howard It's one of those things that once you have successfully built your first set you will know from then. These quad core aliens are pretty tough cause it's so easy to group the cores if you haven't stretched the decored clapton enough. Try 3 core 26 or 27 gauge aliens first cause they are a little bit easier. Good luck if you haven't already cracked it.
Ben Howard it's actually easier to just stretch the core and loosening the stretch for like a sec so you can feel if it's still springy or not and get to the point where you don't feel resistance anymore. works for me everytime
Best way is not only to do it by feel but to check it, after you stretch the decored Clapton hold it up to the cores and make sure that all 3 or 4 or whatever will fit in between each wrap
Oh by the way, the juice you’re talking about, the butterscotch custard, do you have a link to a shop where I can order it? I’m also picky when it comes to juices but I love butterscotch. / Nick from Sweden 🇸🇪
Yeah, enjoyed just watching you build. but whats the point of battery safety and the mass of a coil? btw. YT did not let me watch this with my german ip. Must be because of the dope show :-)
The more mass of the coil, the lower the ohms. Too much mass will make it low and running too low on a single battery will be dangerous. Keeping the mass higher will allow you to rub safely on a single battery and less ramp up time. It equals a more enjoyable vape with less battery stress.
Bro Mterk I need some advice. When I do my aliens I cant keep my core wires as straight and parallel as they need to be. I tried the paper clip but it always falls off when I start off. Any advice would do wonders man. Thanks
that keyring! That's what I've been looking for!!! 😄 paper clips, pegs, hair pins,,, now you show me a key ring. nice tip about paying attention to the mass or amount of wire; I've been staying around 27-28ga for my Aliens and they're getting better.. last thing, I'm fussy with juice too, and butterscotch is my bag.. I make a mean 'vanilla bean ice cream caramel swirl with butterscotch'... its my own personal mix but I can hook you up with the recipe dude 😜 👌💨💨💨
K-Type Anglophile try using some ribbon wire to keep the cores together and straight. It doesn't add any extra weight which the key ring does. I hated using the key ring
www.harborfreight.com/micro-flush-cutter-90708.html Or you can find even more pointy ones than that to get into those really small spaces to clip your wires. Just type in "diagonal flush cutters" into Google.
Spot on mate! nice video, It would have been great if you could have explained a little bit about stretching the clapton core! I guess you have to go way further than on three cores! nice one though!!!!! I subscribed!
Holy shit I thought you died, if it was not for Matty talking up your coils I would have thought you died. But never the less awesome to see another tutorial. Great job hope to see more soon........

Jerry Kelley Thanks for the response. I found it on amazon UK for under £10. Bargain.
Awesome vid as always. You're one of the few builders I watch that I genuinely get excited for when I see a new video uploaded. I just love your whole technique and that jig kit it dope! What is it?
+FRANK V. Thank you so much man. The jig kit is made by UD it comes with 6 different size bits and a handle
M.Terk!? Can you do a tutorial on high gauge alien? Like 30 gauge cores with 50 gauge alien wrap?
thanks Mike, i really enjoyed this. key ring is a great tip!
Thanks for posting bro. Glad you could find a new juice your stoked about, doesn't happen often. Peace!

Isnt 0.1 kinda low on mec mod with Samsung 25R´s?
Thats 40A load and if I remember right those 25R´s are 20A barreries.
it'd be absolutely fine
Still its heavy load on those batteries, LG 30A series would be alot safer or Sony VTC5A´s

Awesome tutorial one of the cleanest I've seen so far
+Archivaldo “el chapo nz” Guzmán Loera Thank you!
Any way you would do a tutorial for your stretch method? Saw you live on Instagram and couldn't really figure out how you were doin it
I hope you keep it up here on RUclips bro ;) lovin your tips and tricks really helped me out on my builds... Already waiting for the next one :) Greetings ToxicalVapes

Another awesome tutorial, thank you sir! Quick question, what size are you using on your jig? 2.5?
+Robert “Neglected Sanity” Mason Yes mainly I use 2.5mm I also use 3mm sometimes when doing a 4wrap build
Amazing! What kind of jig is that? The slit for holding the wire is great. I've always used jigs with a hole but it bends the hell out of the one leg.
The jig is Made by UD
it's the UD coil jig, it comes in nice little case..it's like $8 dollars online.
What diameter did you wrap those around, 2.5?
@m.terk what coil jig are you using there? Also, I think you are, hands down, the best builder on RUclips.
+Rick Meadows it's made by UD and thank you
Could you do a build with ribbon wire? A corrugated build tutorial is very rare on RUclips, you should do one! Great tutorial as always!
great video mike, can't wait to get that butterscotch custard it's straight up fire
Very soon bro!
I've been vapin on that terkish blend and I gotta say its THE BEST butterscotch vape.
On a warm to hot build in this cooler Detroit weather, PERFECT...I'll be on this juice till im ready for the fruits again next summer
Gorgeous build. What was that tube mod?
+Padrespeaks it's made by subohm innovation
What's the ohm?
Sick!!!! Finally got the tri alien down, can't wait to give this a go👍🏽👍🏽
M terk what size are those Knipex pliers? 115mm or 145mm?
You are literally a god among builders. Cheers brother.
How well would a keyring work with a multi core framed Clapton? Would the frames make it raised too much and it wouldn't clamp down the core wires?
Dragging the ring sown a wire that's already claptoned would mess up the wrap wire. The best thing I've seen so far is a lil doohickey from USA Ohmeters. Don't know what they're calling it, but they're giving them away free when you buy their swivel tool.
+Dago Vapes not an already Claptoned wire but one that is multi core and you are trying to keep the wires lined up
Then yeah. Just like in the video. Will work fine.
+alex schultheiss depends on how your making the multicore. I first started making them with straight 40g cores between 2-26g an80 cores. Now I twist my bundle of center cores to keep them together.
how is a .1 safe on a single 18650? is that pulling 42 amps on the battery? Are you building for pulse rating and not current rating of 20 amps?
+xGeemaa I don't look at ratings because I use the same batteries from the same manufacturer. I build all my builds to heat up so fast that I never hold the button for more then a second or two. Like I said in the video I stick to what I know. If I am unsure about a build I put it on a dual or triple mech. Also keep in mind I use light gauge wire for that reason It's way safer.
Great Tutorial @m.terk
today i've tested this way of 4 cores with 28/36...
i've made the DEcore clapton with 26ga, stretchened and claptoned on 4 28ga cores..
Two attempt, first less and second more stretchened, but i've not found the correct stretch... can you suggest a method to understand if the stretching is enough?
TNX
from my experience you need to stretch it so the "waves" are at a 90 degree angle, seems to work the best, for me anyway
+TheNeilwiz01uk for sure
great vid bro, thx to you I can get them 3 cores done. Really appreciate the tutorials, and how you explain things. I would like to see a vid on how you do staggered variations. Thx again
+Ronald Chunca Thanks so much
Love that TM24 deck, so torn between the TM24, Goon, and Apocalypse. F it, i'm grabbin all 3!
Do you think the key ring will work with non "Aliened" wire? @m.terk?
it does, have been using the key ring to keep my wires straight since last year
+Travis Qualls thank you. Trying now!!!!!
+Kyle Rice I'm sorry I'm so behind on answering comments. It will work for non alien wire for sure
I use for all of my multi cores. Even crammed staple aliens
@pristine builds
what gauge screwdrivwr was that 2.5? or 3mm
nevermind. great stuff. your video last year was great for aliens. id like to see a framed staple with .4 or
4 ribbon and 28 or 26 frames with 38 outer
+Sean McAllister i dont use a key ring. i use a cord stop. something you would find on a winter jacket or hoody. got them on online for a dollar. works perfect simce its round and smaller than a key ring. and lighter
+Sean McAllister Ok thank you for your feedback!
Great tutorial. You make some of the best looking aliens. I'd really like to see you do the enigma alien coil. There is a lack of "good" tutorials on here, hope to see more from you.
I forgot to ask, what coil jig is that?
+Ramon Estrada Thank you for the feedback! The coil jig is made by UD
Got 2 bottles of your Turkish blend in the UK and it's damn good.
Ben Howard plus when your cores collapse; you'll know to stretch a bit more.
VVvapes.com or MTerk.net or LocalVape.com
Yeah, enjoyed just watching you build.
but whats the point of battery safety and the mass of a coil?
btw. YT did not let me watch this with my german ip. Must be because of the dope show :-)
The more mass of the coil, the lower the ohms. Too much mass will make it low and running too low on a single battery will be dangerous. Keeping the mass higher will allow you to rub safely on a single battery and less ramp up time. It equals a more enjoyable vape with less battery stress.
sure, there is a U = R * I but there is no mass in that equasion.
i can do a heavy 1 ohm build and a thin 0.1 Ohm
+Algorithm Must be Ive been trying to delete the sound. Less mass makes the build safer that's all.
where did you get your shears at?
+Travis Qualls Actually a local cop brought them into the shop one day for me, lol. But Kline makes them so I'm sure you can get them at a Home Depot.
Reálly pro builds man ! I am to lazy to do so but wish i could the wáy you make those pretty coils!
Bro Mterk I need some advice. When I do my aliens I cant keep my core wires as straight and parallel as they need to be. I tried the paper clip but it always falls off when I start off. Any advice would do wonders man. Thanks
+yamahastuart109 Did you watch the idea above?
great video!!!! love your coils!!!!
+Paul Njagu Thank you!
that keyring!
Wish you would do more videos I know your a busy man but I think there awesome keep up the awesome work
hey. can you help with links for recommended cutting tools?
www.harborfreight.com/micro-flush-cutter-90708.html
Or you can find even more pointy ones than that to get into those really small spaces to clip your wires. Just type in "diagonal flush cutters" into Google.
Thanks for posting this.
+CannibalShadow Anytime man!
hey bro what's your view on building with 316L stainless?
+re1987p I would like to try some good shit. I've always wanted to buy some SS but just been so caught up with nichrome.
For sure man thank you!
A fucking key ring!!! I feel so stupid now! Great Video
