    MTerk is hands down the KING of alien coils, in any configuration. I don’t know if there’s a better set of aliens available for purchase. I met him at a vape convention in Pomona, Ca a couple years back. Bought a couple sets of these, and he even installed one set for me. That set of coils, no bullshit, are still firing and working like a champ. I have many setups, etc. so no, they aren’t used daily but very regularly. MTerk ROCKS!

    Hey man thank u again for ur videos ! I learned about a year ago from urs and squidoodes tutorials! And man from learning the alien build from ur videos made it so easy for me to learn so many others ...I can easily build just about any build I've seen and I'm partial to the tsuka the alien and any staple builds and man I've been able to build stagger staples and staple staggertons but it's such a long time consuming process I don't do it as much so if u could upload a staggered build tutorial man I'd greatly appreciate it and I'm sure so many others would as well!

    I'd like to see you make multiple of the one coil in the one video.
    The problem I have is each individual coil takes so long to setup that it's almost worth not doing.
    Clearly you have found a way around this so I'd like to see that in action so I can make enough in one go to last me a while.

    I do the exact same thing you do except the install of the 4 cores. I do two wires and I loop them into the swivel and then tape the end and insert it into the drill. Haven't tried to put them into the three slots but I will see if it works any better. Glad you did this video. Been waiting for it. Seeing that gold TM atty, makes me want one NOW! LIKE RIGHT NOW. Do a framed staple alien next!

    Isnt 0.1 kinda low on mec mod with Samsung 25R´s?

    • @Mrfrog-ez3ig
      @Mrfrog-ez3ig 8 лет назад +4

      I don't think you know your battery's sir so I'ma give you a little lesson a battery could be 20a continues but the company's who test them don't start mesuring the amps until 10 seconds now a battery can pulse extremely high for an example a 25r can pulse at 35 amps for 5 seconds if you press the button longer it will get hot but won't expoled unless you press the button for 15 seconds on a 0.06 ohm build which I doubt any one can take that long of a hit but remember the coil only takes the power it needs of mechanical devices so to answer your question it's totally safe nothing dangerous going on here I hate it when vape groups get mad at people for having low builds when the person running the Low build knows way more than they ever can the only reason I know so much is cause I used to fix RC cars and drones and I had to learn alot about battery's

    • @Snuwfer
      @Snuwfer 8 лет назад

      well put, izek pretty much cleared it up. Samsung 25R's are rated at 20a CONTINOUSLY. When using a mod you are measly pulsing the batteries as you vape.

    • @thesunbehindthesun1574
      @thesunbehindthesun1574 8 лет назад

      Ixzek Hamelius Thank you someone gets it. I don't think people understand the meaning of CONTINUOUS, 20A can be run for awhile before you'd have issues. I'd imagine you'd probably just run it dead first ha. Like you said, when we vape we are pulsing. 2-3 seconds are my average pulls. Series pulls are like 2 sec max. You could even go lower on a parallel box with the split amperage.

    Gr8 tutorials bro!I have a question kinda off topic.I have no issues building staple coils but I have lots of trouble wraping it around a screwdriver.Does anyone know a way to wrap staples easily with out a vice or holding a pair of pliers while wraping them?

    • @kathernellis4131
      @kathernellis4131 8 лет назад +1

      Sub Ohm Sinner look man, I have had the SAME problem I can NOT wrap a staple coil to save my life I hate them! BUT! My suggestion to you is FRAMED staples! Frame them with 2 pieces of 26g round wire! Go to CMMR VAPOR's channel on RUclips and watch his framed staple video! He will show you the absolute best way to build it if you have trouble and as far as wrapping goes, they wrap just like an alien or fused clapton just keep tension! It's so much easier man!! I use 4-6 pieces of .5X.1 n80 ribbon with 2 26g n80 as the frame and it's no trouble wrapping whatsoever! I know that's not what you asked but I can't wrap a regular staple coil myself lol! But yeah, framed staples are so much easier and wick so much better! They hold way more juice too and less popping in my opinion! Let me know how it works out for you!

    • @sjedi5646

    How well would a keyring work with a multi core framed Clapton? Would the frames make it raised too much and it wouldn't clamp down the core wires?

    • @daysgoby4332
      @daysgoby4332 8 лет назад

      Dragging the ring sown a wire that's already claptoned would mess up the wrap wire. The best thing I've seen so far is a lil doohickey from USA Ohmeters. Don't know what they're calling it, but they're giving them away free when you buy their swivel tool.

    • @Luka49924
      @Luka49924 8 лет назад

      +Dago Vapes not an already Claptoned wire but one that is multi core and you are trying to keep the wires lined up

      @PristineBuilds  8 лет назад +1

      +xGeemaa I don't look at ratings because I use the same batteries from the same manufacturer. I build all my builds to heat up so fast that I never hold the button for more then a second or two. Like I said in the video I stick to what I know. If I am unsure about a build I put it on a dual or triple mech. Also keep in mind I use light gauge wire for that reason It's way safer.

    Great Tutorial @m.terk
    today i've tested this way of 4 cores with 28/36...
    i've made the DEcore clapton with 26ga, stretchened and claptoned on 4 28ga cores..
    Two attempt, first less and second more stretchened, but i've not found the correct stretch... can you suggest a method to understand if the stretching is enough?

      @TheNeilwiz01uk 8 лет назад

      from my experience you need to stretch it so the "waves" are at a 90 degree angle, seems to work the best, for me anyway

      +Sean McAllister i dont use a key ring. i use a cord stop. something you would find on a winter jacket or hoody. got them on online for a dollar. works perfect simce its round and smaller than a key ring. and lighter

    Likewise, stretching just the right amount. How do you work that out, I just can't seem to get the correct stretch so that it matches the core width. Whats the trick?

    • @NorokVokun
      @NorokVokun 7 лет назад +1

      Ben Howard I was told strech it so half of the cores that it is supposed to Go arround . so for a 3 Core you strech it so 1.5 cores fit into the space between the loops of the streched claptoning

    • @b.w.oofficial7738
      @b.w.oofficial7738 7 лет назад

      Ben Howard It's one of those things that once you have successfully built your first set you will know from then. These quad core aliens are pretty tough cause it's so easy to group the cores if you haven't stretched the decored clapton enough. Try 3 core 26 or 27 gauge aliens first cause they are a little bit easier. Good luck if you haven't already cracked it.

    • @FatguyLiftsFGL
      @FatguyLiftsFGL 7 лет назад +1

      Ben Howard it's actually easier to just stretch the core and loosening the stretch for like a sec so you can feel if it's still springy or not and get to the point where you don't feel resistance anymore.
      works for me everytime

    • @FatguyLiftsFGL
      @FatguyLiftsFGL 7 лет назад +1

      Ben Howard plus when your cores collapse; you'll know to stretch a bit more.

    • @jeffnoble6066
      @jeffnoble6066 7 лет назад

      Best way is not only to do it by feel but to check it, after you stretch the decored Clapton hold it up to the cores and make sure that all 3 or 4 or whatever will fit in between each wrap

    Yeah, enjoyed just watching you build.
    but whats the point of battery safety and the mass of a coil?
    btw. YT did not let me watch this with my german ip. Must be because of the dope show :-)

    • @jerrykelley1256
      @jerrykelley1256 8 лет назад

      The more mass of the coil, the lower the ohms. Too much mass will make it low and running too low on a single battery will be dangerous. Keeping the mass higher will allow you to rub safely on a single battery and less ramp up time. It equals a more enjoyable vape with less battery stress.

    • @dieserbenutzernameistvielzulan
      @dieserbenutzernameistvielzulan 8 лет назад

      sure, there is a U = R * I but there is no mass in that equasion.
      i can do a heavy 1 ohm build and a thin 0.1 Ohm

    • @PristineBuilds
      @PristineBuilds  8 лет назад

      +Algorithm Must be Ive been trying to delete the sound. Less mass makes the build safer that's all.

    that keyring! That's what I've been looking for!!! 😄 paper clips, pegs, hair pins,,, now you show me a key ring.
    nice tip about paying attention to the mass or amount of wire; I've been staying around 27-28ga for my Aliens and they're getting better..
    last thing, I'm fussy with juice too, and butterscotch is my bag.. I make a mean 'vanilla bean ice cream caramel swirl with butterscotch'... its my own personal mix but I can hook you up with the recipe dude 😜 👌💨💨💨

      K-Type Anglophile try using some ribbon wire to keep the cores together and straight. It doesn't add any extra weight which the key ring does. I hated using the key ring

      Or you can find even more pointy ones than that to get into those really small spaces to clip your wires. Just type in "diagonal flush cutters" into Google.
