awesome to see this again. The real awesome thing is that I was at this gig. A warm up for Monster of rock. Was at monsters of rock to in the snack pit and went backstage. A long time ago but it was the best weekend I ever had ;-)

Uh..he shouldn't have had an issue considering the tempos were so fucked up and slow! He is playing the stripped down Granstar...proof those goddamn Ahead sticks suck...they don't bring out the sound of the kit like the wood sticks he used year prior to this..he's never gone back but his '96-'97 Starclassic kits worked better with Ahead sticks.
I hate this time period "95, they are so gone....James is at the top of his ego, tempos are so off, his vocals are half assed. Too much fame on full display IMO!
The highlight for me is HTL at 4:35 when he does double bass for that section...that's fucking straight fire! I haven't seen him do that since '03 timeframe. It makes the song slay IMO vs the recorded version. \m/
Put it at 1.25 speed for Ride The Lightning and No Remorse, I'd say for the Four Horsemen as well but it sounds fucking brutal at that tempo
