1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 - Introduction

This is a 1987 Porsche Carrera and one of my favorites in Lagoon Green which is a rare special order color. We'll introduce the car and share it with the channel. Work done to date includes a new clutch, catalytic converter, new Bilstein shocks all around and front-end suspension rebuild. The car has been repainted, had all of the body rubber seals, and also had the windshield replaced.
It has an awesome 1980s vintage Alpine and A/D/S stereo system.
We'll be tackling other jobs like the brakes and rear suspension in future videos.

Planning a move back to LA after moving for the pandemic, and the misses gave the thumbs up for a new toy. Was planing on building a kit Cobra, but can't justify her melting in LA traffic. Falling back in Love w the '87 911s. Hoping to be in the captains chair sometime in 2022. Subscribed, great content!

Been enjoying your videos. I have a 1987 Cab that my Dad bought new. Recently had the Cat go and was considering the magna flow. Porsches wants $6k!

Very nice! I've got an 88 Targa with tail & also in CA. Was the new cat CARB approved & did the smog guys give any hassle? I've got a Fabspeed cat I want to install but worried they might fail it on visual inspection.

Hi believe it was CARB approved, no hassle from the smog guys. I'll see if I can dig up more and create a video of what I had of the replacement.
