- Priced at just AED 2,299 in the UAE, the Motorola Razr 50 is shaping up to be my top choice for an affordable flip phone. Stunning colours, a BIG new display, a new Mediatek processor and so much more, make it a very interesting choice.
In this video, I take a quick first look at the phone and some of its main features.
Mediatek's technology in the Razr 50 ensures smooth performance for gaming! This phone is definitely a game-changer in foldables.
Subscribed for the battery compare video and day to day 😊❤
It's unclear whether and when they will launch this in India. Personally, I would choose this over the Flip 6 or Razr 50 Ultra. Although I pre-ordered the 50 Ultra, I'm having second thoughts now.
I've got a comparison coming out. Stay tuned for that!
Great review. Explained a lot.
I’m glad I could help! 🙌🏻
Cant wait to experience the 6.9" pOLED display with D7300X loading-free experience!
Great review! I'm currently in Dubai, do you happen to know if the Razr phones sold in the UAE are the same as the unlocked international phones sold everywhere else? I keep reading some features are disabled, like maybe can't mute camera shutter, or that the bands are optimized for Middle East regions. I'm not really sure, or perhaps it's just safer to buy once I'm back in the US.
If you’re based in the US, I heavily suggest buying your Moto from there.
Great review. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is some example photos (wide and ultrawide) and recorded video
Will work on a camera review soon!
The Moto Razr 50 is shaping up to be a stylish device. Can't wait to see camera samples. Hoping for good battery life and also seems the mediatek chipset is quite powerful one!
My biggest gripe with it is Google Assistant doesn't work unless you open the phone. Other than that I really enjoy the phone.
The Razr 50's launch is just around the corner! Mediatek's innovations will set a new standard for foldable smartphones.
it is absolutely a steal for a flip phone lovers if it has same functionalities with the ultra e.g. smartconnect
Agreed!
Anticipating Great Performance! With the Dimensity 7300X chipset, the Moto Razr 50 is expected to handle both everyday tasks and gaming effortlessly. This phone could be a game changer!
50MP+12MP cameras on the Razr 50? And lag-free photography with D7300X SoC - Perfect!
great video, thanks for the info. just ordered razr 50. initially went looking at flip6 or 50 ultra (money not decisive factor), but I honestly don't see a reason why pick any of them over regular 50. I don't care much for camera, nor samsung one UI. also 4200 mAh for 50 vs 4000 for 50 ultra. did I miss anything? regular 50 seems like no brainer
I'm really glad you looked at the whole process like that. In you specific scenario, the Razr 50 is definitely a no-brainer! Which colour did you get?
do an in-depth camera review please.
Noted! Will work on the same.
The Moto Razr 50's 6.9-inch FlexView display with HDR10+ support would be promising vibrant and immersive visuals. Perfect for surfing and gaming while it is speculated to have Dimensity 7300 X.
This Razr 50 is looking promising! Dimensity 7300X and a decent camera? Count me in! Bring it to India ASAP.
the Moto Razr 50 with the Dimensity 7300X is set to redefine foldable phones. I’m excited about the innovative features and usability!
does usb c to headphone jack dongle work for headphones?
Could u do a compare video on Regular razr 50 against the 40 ultra from last year. Which do u prefer
I'm working on it as we speak.
Looka good. It's not available in India at the moment. Any idea of its launch date in india and the estimated price?
I bought this regular 50 today, can you tell me how i can use always on display? Thanks a lot
Also the ultra from last year is only 2299. Is it better to get the 40 ultra than the razr 50
Currently the Razr 50 has the advantage of the new OS
@@daantalks Thanks for the response. I believe 40 ultra will get updated to Hello UI. Nevertheless I need some insight on the aging of the internal folding screen of the RAZR. How is it doing.
This or the pixel 8? May sound strange since it' a flip phone vs a non-flip
Oh that’s a very tough one. If you want the Flipping part of a phone, then the Moto wins. But otherwise most of it is won by the Pixel 8
Does it have an Sd slot?
Is the box has wall plug
Yes it does!
Battery life day fo day usage please please please
So I’ve used it as my work phone for 2-3 days now. It’s given me a full day. Ended at 20% on average.
Razr or razr ultra have better battery at the end of the day?
