Lemme help y’all out with a couple things lol so Autumn (17) is Jason’s daughter from his first marriage. Amelia (10) is my daughter I had as a teenager. Together, Jason and I had Anna (2). My mom is Filipino and my dad is Mexican-American. So ethnicity wise, I’m Filipino-Mexican, just like Nia and Knox!! And also- this is hilarious. We loved all the commentary. We almost made a reaction video of your reaction video reacting to our video reacting about BGC. (It sounds a lot funnier when you say it out loud 😂) But seriously though, thank you choosing us for your first reaction video! This is insane. We didn’t expect any of this to blow up. Thank you so much. Y’all don’t even know how grateful we are. We’re just a random family who recorded their trip and posted it on the internet. 😅 (oh and a beginners 101 guide would be helpful 😂) We’re migrating to the PH over the summer so hopefully our paths will cross and we can meet! -Lily (mom)
Whoever thought about reviewing videos like these is a genius. That's one content you put out and in watching it you get ideas on what other contents to make. I'm a subscriber for the Lage family and I've watched all their videos. Yet, I don't mind watching it again by watching you watching it.😆
Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s amazing to hear that you’re enjoying this type of content, and I totally agree-it’s such a fun way to get inspiration while connecting with others. The fact that you don’t mind re-watching videos through our perspective means a lot☺️👍We’re so happy to have you here with us-thanks for the support! We’re so invested in the Lage family now too.lol. Been following them, hoping they post the wedding in Tagaytay🙌
Hi! I’m a big fan of your channel and have been following your content since you started posting videos in the Philippines. Your work is truly inspiring, and I always look forward to your uploads. It would be amazing if you could make a reaction video to one of my videos someday too-just putting it out there! Keep up the incredible work, and thank you for bringing so much positivity and creativity to your audience!
This was a fun video! It was interesting because they were in the same area as you all! Am glad that you slowed down for your family....the twins are growing up. Always being "on" is not healthy and can lead to issues in adulthood. Truly wish you the best! Mark from DC
You’re right, Mark, it’s important to prioritize time as a family and remember that the kids are growing up so fast💖 We don’t want to miss a thang! To us….family is always first🥹
You should try to colab with the #KITOFAMILY who is also now residing in BGC area in McKinley. I think it's so wonderful to watch both of your families meet and greet ❤️❤️❤️👨👨👧👦👨👨👦👦
I’m really glad you liked it! We had fun watching another family enjoy their trip here to BGC. Makes us excited to share more of the Philippines with you guys!🇵🇭💓
Yeay!!! Haha. Love it! Hope they vlog the wedding in Tagaytay. That would be cool. We still haven’t been to a wedding in the Philippines, so would be fun to see people dressed up and to witness any traditions.
Yes! She said it so good, right? She knew what she was talking about for sure. Love it! So glad they came to visit BGC and the Philippines in general. There is so much to see🇵🇭
Im wondering, are you guys and ABC family okay?? You were always together before and now we don’t see you guys together anymore even if they are also in Philippines
Ok this is good to know. I’ve been getting mixed recommendations. Some say, only take Knox and Nia when they’re older because it’s too crowded or unsafe in some areas. But others are saying it’s SUPER kid-friendly! Glad to hear you think it would be fun for the family to go.
Right, your daughter looks like her daughter & don't they also have the same name or is it Nia & Mia? & the mom reminds me of Ruffa Mae Quinto a local celebrity
I believe the daughter that reminds us of Nia is Emilia? Hope I’m spelling that right. I swear they are twins! Both the same cute, silly girls and so funny!!! I know they’d get along🫶
Looks like they’re enjoying the Philippines so far🇵🇭☺️Plus, it’s very natural to compare home to the places we visit, right? It’s something we all do without even realizing it sometimes🤪It’s part of the fun of traveling!
Plus, most of their initial viewers are going to be from the US, like their friends and other relatives... so they're describing for their followers to understand some of the differences. I don't think he means any harm by it. =)
awesome vid as always. good vlog series idea too... providing info for those who are moving to BGC. btw, noticed that there are 2 other vloggers who live in your area. Brian the Lion (the unofficial brand ambassador of BGC) and Lauren Elizabeth.
Thank you so much! Yes, we’ve been thinking about doing more videos for those considering BGC. We can help with any tips to make their lives a tiny bit easier☺️Thanks for sharing! I’ll look them up. We’ll definitely keep those other vloggers in mind for future collaborations.
Giving pedestrians the right of way gives us a false sense of invincibility, especially in crosswalks. I saved a life by warning the left lane to stop at a crosswalk. It seems like there are less people getting hit by cars in the Philippines than here in the US.
You’re right-staying alert is so important, even at crosswalks. Oh my gosh! It’s great that you stepped in to help, quick thinking can make all the difference🙏It’s interesting how road safety can feel so different between countries right?
Just because she doesn’t have an accent she’s already half hahaha She’s a filo 💯 you don’t know a lot of filo, just probably the people who serves you, but mid class and above speaks more western english from private or international school just so you know. My rich uni classmates can switch from american to bisaya accent. She actually has a filo accent, and it irks me when you guys talk about being US when you don’t look like, sorry no offence ✌🏼 Even without finishing the video, I can tell the other girl is from the husband from a different woman, the other girl is from the wife from a different man, and the youngest are theirs. And please, stop messing up with our accents coz you haven’t been to Cebu and met the elites who doesn’t have an accent. The people who stayed at BGC are the ones who are married to americans, usually. Pretentious. The sound effects are from the person who edit it, and that’s the wife who’s born and raised there, moved to the US because studying nursing was expensive, but getting a job pays too low. So that’s just like us, we are a family of nurses and doctors and moved abroad, and if we spend much with americans we sound like one too
She is mixed tho and you can't really judge people off just by watching minutes of their life. If it's not your cup of tea, don't engage and ignore. It's that easy. 🤷🏻♀️

Travel to PH 101 is good. From EPASS to booking. That's good.
I’m on it! We’ve learned so much about the process of going from the states to Manila. And we’d love to give some
helpful tips on the “how-to’s.”
lol I started following them about 4 days ago haha… excited to see their adventures also
they're from Texas... I believe the mom hasn't been home to PI in over 8 years...

I miss Texas! I wonder how’s she’s finding the Philippines to be after not being here for 8 years. I’m sure a lot has changed since then for her☺️
I think she's a Filipina, the way she say Barong and Bangus she has the Filipino accent 😊
