@@internet2055 Sepang is a awesome track and with Istambul Park is one of best Tinkle Tracks, but i preffer Nürburgring insteed of Hockenheim.
Race control: car (44) Lewis hamilton lap (1.31.605) deleted at the track limit.
Which would’ve been (Lewis) Hamilton’s best lap at a 4 mile circuit. However, Spa (Francorchamps) is actually 13 seconds slower than Road America. Somewhere in the 1:43 range.

Watkins Glen with the boot but without the bus stop in an F1 car. From turn 1 to 6 would be insane!
I wish Road America wasnt located in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Then it might stand a chance of getting F1 or WEC etc ..

@Rafael Ramalho That's true though, since they only or mostly use the, I think you can call it "american style pit road and pit lane". But a few years back F1 and Long Beach tried to have a race there and it failed because there were no pit boxes and pit buildings. I think Road America would have enough room for building
temporary pit buildings, garages and stuff.

Nah Cota isn't too bad, but I agree, I think Road America would be a great track!
@@F.San44 Barber would be awful in the race. No joke. Indycar already have difficulties to overtake there let alone F1 then. Barber has only 1 racing line, which doesn't help overtaking at all. Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen are currently FIA Grade 2 tracks.

If they had more hotels and stuff nearby and maybe some safety upgrades they could 100% be F1 material

Well in Assetto Corsa, you can basically race any cars around any track that exists. That's one of the reasons it's great. Full customization
t1 is just brutal. Also, the long right hand, full flat... i mean, this seams to be the beast of a track, but dangerous af
As a Wisconsinite I would love to see formula one here, I think it’s possible to get the track to formula one spec with help from local businesses if they are given the guarantee that they will have priority over other F1 sponsors

Someone needs to crate a series that runs new small venue tracks every other week. And run on any track, a drag strip, short tracks, superspeed ways and road course. Points would start at first track and a champion would be awarded when every track in the country has been races.
Champ car (modern indycar) was like that back in the 60s but the coast to have a dirt track car a road course car, an indianapolis car, and a pikes peak car was just too high

Speed Kills, that was one flying lap. The G force in the Kink and long swooping corner before that would make someone black out.

Road America might be too rough for a real F1 car.
That's not the real problem. The safety level falls way below FIA standards. A massive rebuild would be necessary to make a Grand Prix there.

Why with Ferrari engine?
The U.S. has several great, naturally flowing old school circuits that could conceivably be upgraded to Grade 1 status - Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca. Instead, F1 gives us garbage like Miami.

T5 is. The left hander at the end of the long back straight is. And so is Canada corner with DRS

If they widen the track then I don’t see y not f1 race there 3 possible drs zones (main strait, out of T2 and out of T9 or 10). This track is giving me a Hungary feel kinda when it comes to how thin the track is. Definitely high speed. Don’t think T9 is flat out maybe in a W11 but not in todays cars they gonna understeer so they gonna have to left a little there.
