I've been trying to get into F1 for years, but I just haven't stuck with watching it. But a friend of mine recommended the Netflix series on F1 that has covered the last 2 seasons of the sport. Now i'm hooked and ready to follow it every week. Watching all the behind the scenes stuff and getting to know the drivers personalities really helps, I highly recommend anyone who is curious about the sport to watch the Netflix series.
I find it hard to understand why he has a rep for being arrogant. I missed a few years of f1 because it was impossible to see where I was living but I wonder if he really was that bad between 2012 and 2016?
Chilukar he has changed over time. Definitely was quite arrogant early on. Seems to have changed a bit. That being said, when you’re winning, it must be easier to be “down to earth”?
Nah he’s really hated by alot of f1 fans for several reasons. Firstly he by far has the best car and team in the championship. In F1 all the cars are slightly different and teams with massive budgets likes Ferrari and Mercedes almost always win this means that Hamilton is actually not the most talented driver but just has the best car. Secondly he’s a massive prick to his team when ever you hear him on the radio to his teams he treats them like trash even though after the races he goes round saying ‘thanks to my team’ and thirdly he’s really really fake. He says the same thing at every race along the lines of ‘this is my fav track and fav fans’ at every single track and he never shows any passion. Other driver you can tell racing means everything to them. Lewis just sounds and look bored the entire time.
@Alan B Lmao oh please. It’s his fault he has one of the best cars on the grid? Firstly, he’s won in cars that weren’t so amazing (McLaren 2009, that car was pretty bad). Second, Mercedes hasn’t dominated the grid since 2016, and yet he’s still notched two WDCs in a row. Third, dude almost won the title in his FIRST year and did better than Alonso who had won the title two years in a row before. So please don’t deny his talent. And it’s illogical and really a stretch to say he’s disrespectful to his team. You can say that about every driver who gets passionate and upset during the race. Look at Kimi Räikkönen lmao. You’re also just purely speculating about how genuine he is about enjoying racing. But obviously if he didn’t enjoy it, why would he be racing and winning all the time?
Big respect for his dad and contribution to raise such a humble and down to earth human beings! Cheers Trevor Noah knows exactly how to share a story to a mass people all over the world!
Props fro doing it when it was good for his personal brand. Where the hell was he for the last 13 years? He's just worried about his personal brand. Why didn't he kneel she Kaepernick did it? Easy. Because that would have damaged his brand. Now it's trendy do do blm stuff
@Salonardes I'm sure Lewis Hamilton appreciates your opinion but he is doing what he wants to do. He's nobody's tool! He drives cars better than anyone, negotiates multi million dollar contracts, designs clothes, writes music. I think he knows what he's doing!

Hey fellow F1 fans in the US, I've been to the Austin track 5 times and highly recommend it. It's one of the most affordable F1 races in the world, and the track itself is fantastic. In 2014 I had the opportunity to drive with Lewis from the hotel to the track in the morning of qualifying (long story), and he was highly professional, very humble and personable. I have great memories from this experience, and have since became a big Lewis fan. He got his fifth title this past weekend btw, and has what it takes to at a minimum tie with Michael S.
Personally, I'm a Vettel fan but Hamilton is one of the greatest to ever do it. They should bring back the South African Grand Prix I want to go them live

calm down, goddamnit ^^ He's only probably the fastest driver today but he also has the best car and when he didn't, he didn't win. Vettel got 4 titles as well and occasionally beat Hamilton just as bad as vice versa. Schumacher still holds all the relevant records and after Schumacher, Senna, Stewart, Fangio etc there's some spot for Hamilton but he's not even in the top 5 of his sport, let alone all time athletes in general! Man, calm down ^^
Now 7 time world champion in 2020 😄🎉 and is still very humble and genuine. His story and personality is just amazing. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you Lewis Hamilton.
As a Brazilian and a Lewis Hamilton fan, I find it so endearing that he always brings Ayrton Senna up in his interviews 💕💕 He looked up to him and today he achieved so much more than Senna could. Such a beautiful story!
I like how Lewis didn't waste any time on the bigotry and hate he received for some time, letting his results speak. It should be noted that Lewis is much less (zero) inclined to wheel-banging than his rivals of the last few years. It's called sportsmanship.
Jacques Blaque You haven’t seen tomany races now have u? Never seen a driver that push his oponents out of the track and if someone else do the same to him, he cryes in the radio for the rest of the race.... another thing is that you hear is... no power, unbalance in the tires... and shit like that and lap after he has the fastes time. He’s a crybaby that only can win when he’s in the best team. When McLaren started to have problem he was out faster than Schumi in rain... He will NEVER do things like Schumi or Alonso that still can manage to win in a team that ain’t on top or stay there to evolve the team and car. Like Schumi for 10 years in Ferrari . The day Hamilton drives in a Renault or HAAS, stay ther and evolve the car from s***t to a winer first than he gets my respect... not by leaving Mercedes when they hit problems and then go to the team that are on top for the moment. Also even if he gets his 5’th championship he will not get 5 in a row.... Forza Ferrari....
Hamilton is the reason i watch formula 1. I remember watching top gear and Jeremy Clarkson had his chrome Mclaren there and he popped up i didn’t know who he was but i got hooked. After than i started researching formula 1 and watching f1 from the 1989 races until now 2019 so I did my research on the sport and now i understand it and i love it.
White British and proud, I love Hamilton. Hamiltons Mum is also white and British. Kinda annoyes me how people are labelled 'black', yet they come from a family of white and black. Same shit happened with Obama.
@Haze DC the Morons that fly the flag of the country they come from. even some for the city they come from. Stop pretending the past never was and the effect does not still exist.
Dean Ultra Funny you mentioned that. Lewis has one of the easiest entries in F1 compared to the other drivers. Most drivers often start in a small team and they make their way to biggr teams. Lewis was picked up by a major team and debuted with a major team. he has never had to drive for backmarker teams that struggle with finances and struggle to make it to the points. His entry to F1 wasn't really much of a struggle in comparison to other drivers.
@@rumblefish9 Let me put a pin in your theory. Is Messi not a good footballer because he started with Barcelona? What about Ali, not a great boxer because he only had a couple of professional fights before he was offered a world title shot? Here is another theory you might want to think about. Ron Dennis like Angelo Dundee and the manager of Barcelona saw the greatness because that is what they are supposed to do. And if so why waste time when they know the person is ready. If you think Ron Dennis is no good at his job, then look at Maclaren since he left. Also, given that so many F1 fans dislike Lewis why would Mercedes pay him £40million per year to do something, in your opinion, that at least half the grid can do. Easily win a world title with the best car. They are all stupid in comparison to you I suppose. Please watch the attached for further enlightenment. ruclips.net/video/cfPCQeE0noo/видео.html

I always wanted to go into motor sport when i was younger and be a racing driver, but my dad said forget it because we could never afford it. It broke my heart. Years later I'm still watching F1 and just last week went to Silverstone to see 'our' boy win. It's just so unfair that only the rich/priveleged get the opportunity to get into the sport. Lewis was very lucky to have a supportive father. If Anthony ever wrote a book about the early days I would love to read it.

Oh mehn, my fav F1 driver. Lewis Hamilton is so humble, stylish and handsome. Bless you. Trevor thanks for hosting him. Love you both!
As a Brazilian.. I feel really honored the way he shows respect and such admiration for Senna.... He certainly would be very proud.
F1 fans should know that Senna is the 🐐🇧🇷
Lewis Hamilton is such an amazing guy. Very down to earth and genuine 👌🏾

@J P yep and those can be great motivation and push too...
