    I understand that sitting in front of a computer is much easier to reason about than someone who has experienced it first hand. However, I believe that both the pilot of the boat and the man made a serious mistake.
    Turning himself into a trawelled lure was the worst decision he could have made, an orca never attacks humans but you never know to what extent they manage their predatory instincts.
    The best solution would have been to swim calmly but firmly in the direction of the boat and get on board.

    Orcas aren’t usually the ones you gotta worry about and sometimes they are good to have around. Sharks are the ones that don’t care what they eat.

    • @kevinclement1533
      @kevinclement1533 8 месяцев назад +9

      Sigh, another comment generalizing all sharks. Many sharks actually specialize in hunting certain kind of foods, only some sharks are opportunistic predators that eat whatever they can (tigets, bulls, oceanic whitetips). Even the most feared shark species, the great whites, mostly specialize themselves to hunt seals and cases of attacks towards humans are due to mistaken identity. Are sharks dangerous? Most aren't, but some are indeed dangerous and should be treated cautiously.

    • @MP77USA
      @MP77USA 8 месяцев назад

      @@kevinclement1533sharks DO attack and eat humans and it’s not a case of mistaken identity, that’s nonsense. If a shark is innately harmless, due to size or some other physical limitation, of course they don’t pose a threat. There’s this divided camp approach on sharks, which is inane. Sharks do attack and eat people. The big ones that are known predators in regions such as Hawaii, the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, California, South Africa, Australia, etc. are attacking humans to an increasing degree for multiple reasons. Sharks are a keystone species but don’t ever try to play them off as misunderstood guppies. Never gonna fly. And shouldn’t! These stupid shark dive and shark chumming hijinks are very likely desensitizing them to humans! It’s Night of the Grizzlies all over again. Mess with the bull you get the horns.

      @@nenaj1 check-out theMalibuArtist... Great Whites routinely swim near humans. Unfortunately there are usually several deaths each year but the majority of encounters with people are uneventful. The beautiful videos of these friendly encounters are amazing! Remember most shark species are non-aggressive.
