I WAS FORCED OR TRICKED INTO DOING ANYTHING! Ik the risk with epidural and I decided too take it. Either way going natural or medicated having a baby is GOING to hurt! Yes it sucks that my situation went left but I wasn’t tricked so stop saying that.
Hun…. By them not informing you completely. Which you said…. “You didn’t know the pain….” That’s called not informing the patient. Informed consent done incorrectly could potentially lead to a lawsuit. They did not carry out that procedure properly. Either way…
Baby is here! You’re healthy! Baby is healthy! Your good. Now you know for next time. That shit illegal asf 😂
Legally they have to provide informed consent and you were not properly informed. Congratulations! Hope this helps ♥️
@@nessforbes7400that’s what I’m saying love. You don’t know the whole story I didn’t record the whole 4days I was there. They told me it would hurt but they said a bee sting I’ve never been stung by a bee but I don’t think bees that powerful. Your supposed to be numbed but my numbing didn’t work. So yes it was done wrong but that’s not them misinforming me. Everybody pain tolerance is different. She was in there was all of 30mins and I never seen her again. She was the only problem “nurse” I had but she was also the only one available. Like I said you can go in with this plan (like I did) but that don’t mean the plan will be executed how you planned
@@okayliyah
Did they tell when they are feeling around on your back they are guessing where the spot is because theres no way to know exactly? Did they say that once your procedure is done you are to lay flay and not move for 24 hrs did they say after this procedure you are not to life anything over 10lbs. BUT yet they have your legs up and have you pushing with all your might, but you not to lift, they are moving your legs thighs yet your not to climb stairs, make this make sense. Doctors are more into delivering faster and into getting paid quicker and delivering babies faster making more money at your expense so when that first back pain come out of no where and hit you thank the doctors ok. Its like burger king have it your way!
@@andrewnehemiah3467honey I promise you of all the labor vlogs I’ve watched and sisters and cousins that I know that gave birth they don’t inform you of all that so stop projecting please
@@Worryfreelifestyle
So what does that say? In a world no where everyone uses technology, googling everything yet not your health? When did this become a society of just believe whatever anyone says? You mean no one has ensight to look into things for themselves??? When someone comes to warn just in case you don't know receives all this? Wow
This is why black women need to utilize doula services and we need to make their services accessible for everyone in any financial bracket. We need to educate people on why doulas are important. I’m so proud of you because despite all tha grief and pain you remained calm and confident in your decisions. And yes you did handle that pain like a G 😂
I'm looking now. My insurance has too much red tape to even make initial appt. 💔
Shout out to the bd for letting me squeeze TF outta his hand😂😂
I’m currently pregnant. I spent all of 2021 studying to be a midwife. Little did I know I’d become a mother. My biggest f* no is the hospital. I REFUSE to bring life in that hell hole. Thankfully I now have 2 doulas and a midwife apart of my birth team. Im so excited to meet my baby boy😩🥹
I'm a black woman and I'm currently training to be a doula for other black women if they need me which I hope they will!!
Tried it didn’t work😂
This is exactly why I hired a doula.. your experience with getting an epidural shouldn’t been that way. Thank God everything worked out! Beautiful labor & your baby girl is a doll!!
I wish they pushed out more info because I was literally lost about pregnancy!
This is so raw and uncut and I’m so happy that you shared this with us so we know what to look for and what to make sure we advocate for
congratulations girl! i’m 12 weeks 3 days today and i’m so excited i’ve made it this far. i’ve watched you since i found out i was expecting. i hope you continue posting with your new journey with the baby. good luck new momma❤️
Thank you for the luv and support girlie! And congrats on your blessing🥰💞
Congratulations…currently 38 weeks pregnant induction in 3 days but I’m so happy for you and thank you for showing us your journey!
Update: I had my son exactly on his induction day without being induced which is crazy lol he’s now an month old motherhood is just amazing I love my son so much words can’t explain it. I hope postpartum is treating you good and remember you got this!
Congratulations!!!❤
No! Getting an Epidural was the worst part of my c-section! I will never get it again (unless I have another c-section). Right away I could hear in her voice that she was frustrated. It’s her job to be able to work around the patient being in pain/moving. She wasn’t doing her job correctly, I hope you made a complaint. Happy to see the baby is here and healthy!
Congratulations on your new baby. I have to say you handled that pain really well. Your anesthesiologist really did not know what she was doing because it should not hurt. My first time having a baby it worked like a dream no problems taking the epidural, the second time around it was a night mare. I went through the labor without it. The pain was real.💯
THIS, because I was about to say, I don’t think epidurals are supposed to hurt, because mine sure didn’t.😳 She did well considering.
This has been the most thorough play by play of what they do in the hospital. Thank you so much
You did so good and I love how you captured every moment! I'm so glad I was able to share your experience and see my grandbaby being born ❤
I’m so glad you spoke up for yourself, no matter what that man child was saying, those nurses or anyone else. The nurse act as if she didn’t give a damn and the anesthesiologist was absolutely horrible. They think black women do not feel pain. Congratulations to you mama! Beautiful baby girl…
That’s Factssss!!
literally tearing up while you pushed her out! a moment of triumph! you did so good mama, God bless you both!❤
Girl you don’t look bad at all to have just gone through that. You and the baby are beautiful
Now this is a real and raw labor video you captured everything ❤️ love it and congratulations she is beautiful
Congratulations Mamiana😍
I’m currently 37 weeks. Thank you for sharing your experience with us! I hate how you had to experience all that pain but you got through it 💪🏽💕.. and Baby Girl is such a cutieeee! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you! And wishing a safe delivery mamas☺️
@@okayliyah I am 8wks and 4 day's Best but you got through it God is so good 💯 luv you❤
🎉yasss!!! Congratulations mama, been here since Day 1 & i can’t wait to go on this Motherhood journey with you!💕🥲
Awww you’re so sweet! Thank you for the luv 🥰🥰
You are so strong! I am almost 36 weeks and they are talking about inducing me at either 38 or 39 weeks. I’m scared but I know that it will all be okay once she’s in my arms! You are a champ, you had to sit through those contractions i don’t know how you did it! Nobody can say anything about you crying or hollering if they don’t know that pain. Great job and congrats on your baby🥳!
This was such a joy to watch 😊😊 Love your personality and how you stayed strong and had fun thru the process. ❤
My epidural experience was horrible with my first kid. It led to me having a non emergent c section (completely unnecessary) so I decided to have my second child completely natural. No pitocin( something they don’t tell you that they give you ) and absolutely no epidural . But you go girl !!
They told me they gave me Pitocin.. but I’m sorry you had a bad experience as well
I don’t like how they were so rude to you 😮💨 especially with you having to go through all that pain I’m glad you got through it though congratulations you’re strong 🤍I get induced Tuesday night or the following Wednesday because they want me to be 39 weeks 🙏this is my second child and I plan on making her my last I’m 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant
You made me cry 😢 when u was in pain. I'm most worried about the pain of contractions and epidural. You did so good through all of that tho. Congratulations mommy ❤️ I also love your support system
Thank you boo💞!
I’m gettin induced in 2 months and can’t stop watching these videos congrats on your baby mama❤
How did you do ??❤
@@jazzerie6246 it was definitely an experience to say the least but she’s here safe and sound and that’s all that matters 🥰
she was so real I loved this
I agree. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having a lot of Braxton Hicks for 2-3 weeks now. I went to the doctor today to find out how the baby was doing, I’m 4cm right now so crampy and I also don’t agree with the internet saying these pains are like period pains. Lol they feel just as bad as strong contractions but that’s my opinion. This is my second pregnancy after a miscarriage, because I have a weak cervix with this pregnancy so I’ve been in the upmost pain every since I found out I was pregnant. I’m so ready to have this baby now.
I agree. People leave out how painful getting the epidural really is. Bee sting does hurt. Getting the spinal block with my surgery is just as bad as the epidural so y’all please pray for me when it’s time to get the epidural as well. I just wish they would put us to sleep with both spinal block and epidural block.
Me as well I been experiencing Braxton Hicks since last week I reached 37 weeks Friday I'm due Dec 13th but like she said I want to experience all natural I did it with both my pregnancy I didn't go to the hospital until it was necessary in needed I had to be induced with my daughter but I didn't get any pain meds or anything cause babygirl wanted to be there longer lol my son came 2wks early I was labor all day with him until that night to where it was time for me to have him & I plan on doing the same with my third baby he's also a boy ❤
@@beautystill a new update on this topic, as I was typing this post 5 months ago I ended up having my baby 10 hours later. A key takeaway from this, I don’t like pain whatsoever so I’m not sure if it was better for me to have waited 2 more weeks or just go ahead and have my baby as soon as my water broke. My water broke on June 10th at 7 am , I didn’t have a ride to the hospital until 11am but I still wasn’t 10 cm yet. So the hospital staff waited and waited until I was emotionally and ready for what was to come next. It was 3am the next day the staff increased the pitocin all the way up to 19 that’s when my contractions got worse of it all , then the epidural. I was screaming and crying. They had to cut my son out of my body. The next few months of giving birth was soooooo sooooo painful. I guess that’s why the doctors say you will need at least 6 weeks to fully recover from birth. I will never ever ever get pregnant again and go through that again. I’m happy for the women who have a better pain tolerance than me because that’s not me!
@@mzamie247 wow so glad to hear that you and the baby are okay and healthy hope y'all have many more blessings 🙏🏾💗🥹
Thank you. And blessings for you and your pregnancy and birth.
Literally watching this, your labor and mine were almost the exact same, my epidural lady wasn’t an asshole, but I did tug of war, had the ball, everything even down to the crying freaking out bc the pain, you did such a great job baby girl I’m so proud of you. You did that!
I just had to click on this video to say that is the CUTEST newborn i have EVER SEEN!!❤
Omg thank you!
Yesss ma’am I had all my babies natural boo I was scared of the epidural !! You doing good love ❤
This is a good video for first time mom’s like me my baby is due in May congratulations to you and on your new journey of motherhood
Congrats on your bundle of joy mama❤️❤️
Congratulations! So sorry you couldn’t have a positive experience, that sucks 😕 I’m due in May and really hoping these hospital staff don’t ruin my day!
Honestly other then the whole epidural situation my hospital stay was perfect 🥰 every other nurse so extremely sweet! Don’t let my experience stress you out..
you’re gonna be an amazing mama❤❤
❤Congratulations!!!! I’m 34 weeks excited to meet my baby but not ready for labor yet
Girl I’ve been ready 😂 I was tired of being pregnant! But I wish the best of luck to you ❤️❤️ congrats mama💞
You did great I'm 36 weeks and ready to have my baby like today lol but with my first I had the same experience with getting my epidural the man that put it in was so rude literally asked me why was I crying like wtf 🤔 but this round I plan on having all black Drs and nurses I feel like that will play a big role plus having a support team that's not afraid to speak up for me when I'm overwhelmed.
congratulations mamas & welcome babyyy🎉💕💕 thank you for showing us the real side of epidural girl you got me terrified lmaoo. & your bd face look like he was about to bus out crying 😹
Apparently you not supposed to feel it! They numb you but my numbing obv didn’t work😭 so don’t be scared girl. I feel like I’m the only one with this experience.. everybody else seems to had a great one! And yeah I told him I he was really analyzing everything💓😂
@@okayliyah as a birthing doula I can assure you that your not the only one who went through this. Another Queen like yourself will experience the pain and careless attitudes with hospitals/ nurses as you did until we get knowledge about labor and delivery ourselves
@@okayliyahcongratulations Queen you did so good I just got so upset watching them act the way they did towards you BUT you handled it like A Warrior
Congratulations 😍😍😍 love your Chanel it has helped me so much soon to be a 1st time mommy May God always be with you and your baby girl she’s beautiful by the way. Your videos help me be prepared ❤️❤️
I enjoyed this raw and uncut video. You did so good. Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉
26:20 that epidural hurts like hell !! it’s only good for the pain but afterwards ? omg I’m only 20 and I have the WORSE back pain ever !!! Don’t let it be cold or rainy, tuhh I nearly cried.
The nurse poked you wrong!! Hell nah ! She should’ve got fired she was so impatient & not even helpful at all! She made me mad 😡!
Congratulations you did great and I also had a bad epidural experience the guy was on me so long and kept taking it out and inserting it I knew something was wrong then they called another person but at that point I rather just go through the pain because they made it worse but I’m happy you spoke up and had a safe delivery ❤️❤️❤️
30 Weeks Officially Today Baby when I say once 35weeks hit I’m going on walks and everything with my mama
Thank you so much for sharing your experience . You did an amazing job momma ❤ Yasani is beautiful 😍
Loved this! She was born on my birthday!! Your so strong, i'm 21 weeks now and excited but not ready for this part lol but I know i gotta get ready! Your vlog just gave me a sense of peace.
You got this mama! ☺️💞
Congratulations you did amazing i hate that you had to endure that pain an rudeness praying all is going well lil mama is beautiful a new subie here
Lol awwww I feel like that with the epidural they don’t tell you that yo leg be doing it’s own thing and the pressure of it going in is crazy!!! My anesthesiologists was kinda rude too talking bout she’ll leave and come back trick you tryna poke me while I’m having a damn contraction! You did good though! Bet you won’t rush the next one out lol. Congratulations
Nah I’m still happy she came when she did. Rather she came early or late it was still gon hurt 😭 if I would of went full term that would be a 8lb baby!
Congratulations welcome to motherhood I definitely agree with you some of those nurses in labor and delivery they are a piece of work but you should get a survey how your experience was and I will give that feedback on that but you know that's how people are in society you're going to meet a bunch of arrogant people but the good thing is you have your little bundle of joy and congratulations again hey you write people never tells you about the after part of going to labor they should but I'm just grateful that you had a healthy delivery God bless you stay encouraged🎉❤
I love your personality omg 😂😂🎉🎉🎉congratulations beautiful
CONGRATULATIONS 🐥🍼... AWWWW... STAY BLESSED BEAUTIFUL FAMILY 💐🫂🥰🙏💕
I am so happy I have found your page I been using RUclips to find many other moms because I am pregnant with my first not due till October 14th and I am starting a RUclips channel and would like to make content like this and I love how you made sure to capture everything and I’m sorry you did not have the best experience no one deserves that but you are beautiful and congratulations on your baby girl💕🫶🏽
Go for it girl! Don’t wait post ASAP you can do it! I came into 2023 saying this the year ima be a content creator. And that’s what I did by simply js uploading.. I ain’t think my stuff was gon blow
And congratulations mama praying and healthy delivery 🫶🏽🫶🏽
I had my children in the seventies. Epidural was never even heard of. You had zero choices on anything. Nice to see the improved situation for mothers.😊
Yes, that if a door hurts I went through it 2 times cause I had c-sections.
And it numbs you from what stomach to your legs. No more pain. Unless you hit like ten centimeters, and then youst a little bit of a little pain and that baby's coming out
Great job and congrats on your new addition!
I love 💕 watching labor and delivery birth vlogs on the RUclips channel app and husbands support their wives during the birth of their babies 👶
Yes hospital apple juice hit diff !!
Congratulations and Happy Birthday baby girl 🥳
So the nurse was being a butt AND she put it in wrong?!!! WTF 😳 so sorry that happened to you sweetie.
The woman who did my epidural was a resident training and she missed my spine 3 times and told me it was my fault she did it wrong because I neglected to tell her I have scoliosis (Never in my life have been told I have scoliosis, I played sports my whole life and had many physicals done and never was told anything like that.) It hurt so bad when she did it and she was so rude. I requested someone else and the regular guy who did the epidural did it in less then a minute. I had no pain when he did it and it was perfect. It's a pinch but not supposed to hurt that bad. It only hurt really bad when I had the women who did it wrong do it.
So sorry 😢 that’s horrible!
Omgosh Ik I’m 4w late but god bless you I’m so happy that you and your baby are okayyy!
I have scoliosis and when I had my first son the anesthesiologist was upset that he had to leave church, which was that Easter Sunday to give me my epidural. He had pissed me off so bad. I told him if he doesn’t know what he’s doing he can just leave because I wasn’t about to keep getting stuck with that long needle. He finally got me numb in both sides my nurses and Dr was awesome though! I hate you had to experience that, but the part where you was actually giving birth was beautiful. It made me tear up a little! She’s in the Pisces gang! 💪🏽 Congratulations!
You are so strong. God bless you. Beautiful and healthy baby 💖💖
Yup I picked u on the anaesthesiologists attitude. Some people are just jobsworths and are only in it to receive a cheque and not because they care about people. Sorry that happened to you! ❤
And I hate that! I even signed off on NO residents js so my labor didn’t go like this 🫤
the anesthesiologist was RUDE !! omg i am so sorry you had her. and her telling you to communicate with her?! bro do your job!! when i got mine my guy did not say to communicate with him, he knew what he was doing and my epidural was pain free. some discomfort yes but i wouldn’t call it painful. i am so sorry mama ❤
She’s so beautiful Omggg god bless you girl you got me tearing up 40:15
Awwww congratulations Aaliyah the video is as beautiful made me tear up ❤
I knew that hospital looked familiar lol , I have my babygirl in 3 months more than ready ! Congratulations 🎉
U did awesome , next time have your mom or husband be very stern with nurses they tend to take advantage of us black and Hispanics
I didn’t know they did the little song when someone delivers I’m gonna ball when I hear mines😭😭 I cried during your whole experience congratulations momma!
Me neitherrrr it’s soooo cute!!
I heard it after I had my son but I didn’t hear it when he was born so I’m not even sure if they played it
They play it when you transfer out of labor and delivery and into postpartum
she is so pretty 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I’m so scared you so lucky to have had your mom be by your side and the father of your child nether of mines are talking to me and have me blocked so I know I won’t have anybody by my side in 8 weeks congratulations on your daughter 💕
It’s okay love! I do understand how luck and fortunate I have to have this huge support system but js take that time to bond with your baby! This is the last few moments you have to with them inside protecting them from the world! I say if the argument with everybody was petty js be the bigger person and step up before it’s too late. This is supposed to be your special day! Best day of your life besides a potential wedding day! Youn want it to be all said and done and realize it didn’t have to go like that♥️ wishing you best of luck! Congratulations 🥰💞
Habibi we are in this together
I'm also 5 -6 months pregnant
Prayers for us❤
boutta get induced in 4 days and seeing you crying in pain scares me oh lord i hate being in pain im scared of how bad its gonna hurt😅 i signed myself up for this shii
Update??❤
Whew lord. This making me so nervous all over again. I’m 39+4 today & I been beasting for baby to come but now I’m super scared lol. Those contractions are noooo joke man. I’ll literally take the pushing over the contractions! 😂😂 but girl yu did sooo good. Women are absolute superheroes! Congrats on your beautiful baby ❤
That was hard to watch. So glad you and baby are okay. Going to the hospital to deliver my baby is my worst nightmare. I pray me and my son make it out safe and healthy, in the name of Jesus 🙏 Due September 26th.
You got this mamas in Jesus name 🥰🙏🏾
My spine was crooked so I didn’t really get the full effect of an epidural my first two births . I found out on my second birth that my spine was crooked. I remember it feeling uncomfortable the position being uncomfortable too. I chose not to get one my 4th birth and I had a severe complication my son got stuck. But if I had to do it again I wouldn’t get the epidural still idgaf how painful labor is I’m over needles in my spine . What’s absolutely insane to me is that my black doctor treated me worse than the white nurses. The nurses were so attentive and supportive the doctor tried to clock out and leave when I was pushing and they had to chase her and bring her back. I didn’t say anything rude to her I didn’t do anything wrong I couldn’t believe she was so rude and hateful towards me after all I went through. My son almost died she showed no empathy whatsoever.
Omg! That’s crazy like all other routine check up and it was never noticed? I wonder if that could of happened to me.. but girl I wouldn’t have even wanted her back! If you wanna leave go bad go ahead boot it’s someone else on call hopefully! But I’m glad everything worked out mama 🥰💞
pregnancy y labor is a beautiful experience felicidades 🎉
Omg I’m due March 7 of next year 😍 you did that girl 🙌🏾
Congratulations❤❤I cried watching you in pain because i know that feeling n I cried like a baby cause the meds wasn’t going thru my back the right way

Congratulations! You ain’t go through it alone🥰
Due in may , you did amazing congratulations ❤
I’m 9 weeks and 3 days and I need tips I’m due in January 2024. And congrats on your baby ❤️💕💕
You made me cry hell I was in pain with you but you did that mommy
FYI epidural doesn't numb everything u cant be completely numb becuse u wont be able to push ao yes u will still feel contractions also yess epidural hurt going in it worst when u hear ya spine clicking during the insert. you did a good job momma congratulations
u girl real brave unlike me am 36w, really excited for baby but scared of eg the pain
I’m so happy for you 🥲 I’m going to be 18 weeks on Wednesday I can’t wait to give birth ur baby girl is so beautiful and was laughing and smiling ❤❤😊
Thank you💞 and congrats mama!
Girl You A Real Boss At That Woow Girl You Handle That Like A Boss😊❤ Congratulations 🎉 Tho Baby🫶🏼
Awwww sorry you had a bad epidural experience I had it at 4cm I got induced n the pain was bad ...You did well...Congratulations hun..💖🙏
Your so pretty!!! Congratulations!!!❤❤
Congratulations, she is adorable.
You did so good and God blessed you with a beautiful baby girl
I had the balloon too and when I said I sobbed when they filled it with saline….it hurt SO bad, like literally soooooo bad I couldn’t even sit up I laid down the whole time bc sitting up hurt my poom poom so bad 😭😭 31 hours of labor and she was out. The peanut ball helped me a little bit but BARELY lol my daughter was so stubborn
💐💐I'm glad you and baby are healthy and safe after delivery. Congrats🤍
Congratulations 🥺🥺im probably a lil late😭 but ive been watching videos to see what i wanna do Okay so im 35 weeks but im still debating if i should get the epidural. Or go natural an I wanted your opinion on it. An also yu did an amazing job 🥺🫶🏾
I think you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable! Don’t feel pressured to go natural your birth experience is supposed to be special and if you want to be able to enjoy it pain free I think you should do so! Or if you want to push your limits and go natural do that! I personally wanted to go natural but as you see planning isn’t really a thing with birth it’s going to go how it goes.
As a mom of 9 I had a epidural once with my twins do what feels best for you hun
Just gained a new subscriber ❤️
Bby gurl u went through it! ..but thank god u made it out with a beautiful bby girl .. Congratulation
Congrats momma I had my son march 9 2023 at 4:52 am I didn’t do the epidural I did laughing gas and my hospital don’t give fentanyl they give some other meds
I was never allowed laughing gas as a child Cse of my asthma! It’s barely existent now but maybe that’s why it wasn’t offered
Whew I’m 39 weeks and get induced Sunday at 40 weeks!
That's the 1 thing about using castor oil. If your cervix is not ready, you will be in labor so much longer. And I'm not judging because I learned that lesson with my 3rd baby. But you handled it💪🏾Congrats on babygirl.
Sometimes the epidural can also slow the process
Giiirrrlll watching the epidural part seriously made me cringe! Bless your heart ❤️ 😢 my first epidural experience was bad as well, the second one was not as bad. She was messing up cause her stank attitude. At least you got that gorgeous baby 👶🏽 😍 I had the same experience on the Same date 19 years ago! 🎉❤
My son was born 3.9.2020 🎉❤
How many ppl find themselves holding their breath and pushing with the’s mother’s 😂😂
Hope you not prego lol
Beautiful baby ❤
Shes so beautiful and alert! Congrats!!! Why was the doctor pulling on that towel? Ive never seen that
I wasn’t pushing hard enough so it was to help lol they call it tug of war
I took castor oil with all three of my children, and it worked for me. I took a table spoon to a glass of orange juice.
