keep the videos coming. they helped me end up making my first pc. now I built a fully custom i9-13900k with rtx 3090 that I then custom water cooled. 9tb of storage. I make videos in the auto side of youtube, but plan to start a small tech channel as now for a hobby I started building PC on the side. I have built like 6 or so PC so still learning a lot but you guys are great! plus your gvgmall code is a big help
@bradleyhingson1860 yeah I would be happy to help. So Intel naming is first i3, i5, i7, i9 that is just the series higher is better. 13900k the 13 is the generation so 13th gen, 900k tells us it's part of the i9 series, and the k means it is unlocked for messing with the speed of the cores. What fo you want to do with your pc I can make recommendations for you
Even if Fortnite is an overstimulated game, targeted towards the young audience, I still love to watch the videos Toasty Bros puts out, no matter the subject.
@@Adrianwe44 It's a pretty good game. Just think there are too many aspects, collaborations, etc. Hence my statement of "Overstimulation." I find it interesting that you can watch John Cena building a hotel on Darth Vadar and then popping him in the head for 220.
When it comes to performance a pc is better then a laptop I have a 200$ dollar pc which runs fn better then my friends 600$ dollar laptop I cant play pubs but in creative I get like 140 fps and load in faster and even games like valorant I get more fps and load faster
8:20 people started realizing that nobody is buying old office computers when you can build a custom one new for very cheap. Jacksons PC was obviously good. but MAtt's was custom. if he had more time to hunt for deals and bargain online, could have gotten a Ryzen 5 4600 or Ryzen 5 3600 and gotten something like a MObo combo or 2nd hand PC case. the B450 was good, he should have overclocked his CPU to get more performance. after all, Ryzen budget builders tend to overclock a little just get that extra 200mhz and get their CPU to hit that 4.5GHz mark
Im not sure if anyone noticed but both these guys were heavily CPU bottlenecked. The 970 on perf mode was only getting 50% maxxed unless i was reading that wrong and thats the cpu. The rx5700 was 35% utilized and was only pulling 35-40 watts so lots of space left unused
Try swapping your parts, for a variation and please show how you are optimizing the games for best performance, might be interesting, many people don't know how to do that. Thanks for the video
I think you guys should up the stakes with this challenge like the highest amount been like just 200 bucks .. so that we see how creative and u guy will farm for good hardware to achieve the performace with a tough budget
I'm in the process of building a 300 dollar PC with a 3600x and a 2080ti. Lian Li Lancool II case, 32 GB RAM, MSI MAG b550 tomahawk, deepcool 240 AIO, and a EVGA 850 gold PSU. Recently picked up a Windforce GTX 970 for 20 bucks. PC components are getting cheap if you're willing to deal hunt
Great Video guys, any chance you guys can please do this kind of challenge for Minecraft? because I am wanting to pick up a good ultra budget pc for Minecraft and want to see what you guys would
minecraft is a cpu intensive game so if the pc is mainly for minecraft and you want it to be budget, i’d suggest maybe getting one with a 4 core 8 thread cpu, and maybe a GTX card. realistically, minecraft would run fine even on integrated graphics but id suggest getting a budget graphics card just in case you want to play any other games
hey toasty bors i recently bought a rx 6700 non xt off of ebay for 240 us dollars wich is a good deal but im not happy with it it is not well optimised for GOW i found a 3060ti for the same price, should i get the 3060 ti ?
I'm using the same diypc case. It has a i3 10105, powercolor red dragon rx470 4gb, pny xlr8 16gb 2666mhz ram, and ares game 500w power supply. It does high 80 to 120 fps on fortnite. I love the video, thanks guys. I love the cheap case. I replaced the fans with thermalright white argb fans and a id cooling white tower cooler.
Hey Toasty Bros I have a question, so I have a budget of $1,500 and was wondering what kind of pre built pc I would be able to get cause I don’t really know but I know I would like something a 4090 and plenty of storage and helps with my fps I mainly play Fortnite, and Call of Duty and I’m looking to be able to play and stream at the same time would definitely love an opinion on what I should do cause I’m not too familiar with PCs and don’t have the patience to build one 😅
Also, will a Gtx 980ti work with the P520? I asked for these for Christmas. I know the pc works with the Gtx 10 series. If you could help me troubleshoot that after Christmas I’d much appreciate it
If it were me I would just plug a gaming keyboard and gaming mouse into a Xbox Series S with a 1080p60 monitor and call it a day. Or does Fortnite not support KB + M on Xbox?
who else would like for toasty bros to do a budget pc challenge only using facebook marketplace i feel like that would be the best video for the average person wanting a good budget pc
Possibly but it will be a very low bottleneck compared to an nvme , If you are getting fps that jumps from 60 to 200 and back down mabye a brtter cpu is recommended since it's cpu intensive
I’m new to gaming pc. And I have a budget of 400 dollars. And I would like to run rust on high settings and other fps games. Please reply if you have suggestion.
I'm playing fortnite on a Celeron G620 2/4 2.6ghz, 2x4-8gb ddr3 1333, RADEON 7 250 2gb ddr3, 500gb 7200rpm Seagate SATA/HDD. 720p Low, 60fps locked. It's not the prettiest but it runs comfortable. Dell AIO 23" 75hz PC - $12 from goodwill, $7 R7 250 2gb from ebay. Entire rig setup less than $35 after picking up a wired RGB Keyboard/headphones/mouse kit from General Dollar for $15. 😅
Bro I got a older x99 mother board with a i7 and a rtx2080 like u said it’s a older home server/workstation motherboard but it’s still pretty good today being 10 years old .. quad channel mother board too I think that’s why it still does so good..
I love you TB but you guys budgets aren’t as good as before prices always use to vary now it’s just no more than 500 which makes it boring cuz everyone knows it’s going to be low but we still love you guys😂❤

I would love to see you guys playing together in games more often.
I enjoy how you guys do videos for people on every type of of budget, mainly the average joes. Keep up the good work fellas.

That Lenovo build was surprisingly very good for the money!

See the issue with high preset DX12 basically turns on its Nanite Lumen option which is Fortnites ray tracing. Turn it off and performance gets better
