I know several doctors who are internationally trainer but can't practice in Canada because there aren't enough colleges and getting licenses is next to impossible. Why not create programs to streamline internationally trained healthcare workers?!

Well, if the liberals stopped using it as a political tool and just funded, im sure it would help.

To summarize the discussion between these geniuses: government can't figure out how to fix healthcare, we need more government and then we'll be able to figure it out.

manitoba has healthcare auditors and they should have a system in place where the healthcare system is audited and have an hr where it is intertwined with that to have the money accounted for and that the doctors and nurses get hired and retained so we can keep out public healthcare system and have it work in the future.

I used to work at Medical Center Hospital in Burlington Vermont. Even in the late 1980's - 1995 when I moved many Canadians came & paid cash for CABG's , cancer surgery, orthopedics, & eye surgery. I'm an OR nurse since 1985. Patients told me that they refinanced their homes to pay for surgeries because they couldn't wait 5 years. Luckily, I studied 4 years of francais in high school as many of them were from Montreal & Quebec. I remember that the doctor on orthopedics would write an order for them to be served Beaujolais with dinner & the pharmacy supplied it!! Happy patients!!

To fix our broken healthcare system, entrust in the medical expertise and healing powers of Trudeau's male feminism.
