- Outfit 3 for the 18 characters at launch are coming to Street Fighter 6 on December 1! When designing Outfit 3 for each character, the development team was inspired by in-game illustrations, various cultures, and pure fun.
Outfit 3 for the Year 1 characters will be released at the same time as the 4th character - Akuma.

Ryu's costume are the clothes Chun-Li bought for him, what a nice detail.
But really, these are some of the best costumes I've seen, love the chill vibes on Ryu, the more dapper looks for Zangief and Guile, meanwhile Manon, JP, Jamie and Lily look great on more traditional clothing, I don't see a single miss. Hope AKI and Rashid get their extra costumes soon too.
Description says December 1st for the launch roster, and the outfits for the DLC characters will drop alongside Akuma-so not for several months.
And don't forget Maximilian Dood alternate outfit for Ken. That is so 🔥

Zangief is wearing the clothes he studies at the library in.
After encountering that story detail in World Tour mode with my underrated female fighting game character from another series remade on SF6 create a fighter that is a really specific cute detail. We also got traditional clean shaven Ryu back as a option.
He looks so unusual in traditional regular clothes though. Ryu looks almost like a homeless man in Hawaii.

holy shit really 100 dollars? i mean on one hand it is 18 skins which is a lot but on the other we've already paid for the game so its a pretty weird spot, and for me street fighter skins were never capcom's forte lol
I mean you would only get the skin for the characters you play, its like 5 or 6$ per skin, which is pretty on par with most games that sell skins
That's way to much money. I'm not buying any skis for street fighter 6. I'm just buying the characters.

It’s also cool to fit Ryu for a more casual look he can wear when not having his gi on. And Luke having his classic costume from SF5 is fitting too.

How old are Kim and Lily supposed to be? I know Kimberly went to college early.
@@XS-NRGThats true about Kimberly, but I’m not sure about Lily. I think I saw somewhere saying she was 16, but take that with a grain of salt.
Capcom says she’s 18 but she clearly looks much younger.
That being said, this costume definitely helps to age her up and not other folks in the room feel awkward using her
@@XS-NRG Kimberly is somewhere between 19 & 21 considering that she graduated college early. I’m pretty sure Lily is supposed to be a young adult, but she has quite the baby face.

I love how so many of them are basically what would be considered normal real world fashion from their countries. Really makes the characters feel alive!

Seeing Ryu in civilian clothing is still strange to me, and I love it.
Ryu is such onna beautiful Renaissance since he conquered the Satsui No Hado and being the man to single handedly defeat and kill M. Bison, man is living his best life

i like that they make most characters look completely different
that's the problem, these outfits conflict with their silouette. not good.
I mean I feel like most of their silhouette recognition comes from the moveset and animations, like how you can tell what fighter's move someone's world tour character is using @@damienwarlock
@@damienwarlock "Glance value" does not apply here. It's a 1v1 game that takes place on a single screen and both players know exactly who they are and are against. It's not a moba or team FPS where you need to keep track of wildly varied character locations and everyone's abilities and know exactly what they do on first glance.
But still like themselves. I didn’t like a lot sfv skins cause they made characters feel like they were just putting random things all over the place. But this doesn’t feel like that.

The transition from ryu’s segment to zangief’s is actually super neat
I'm glad to see an outfit for Lily I unequivocally like. Ryu and Chun Li are standouts for me as well.

@@T1tlol My thoughts exactly, I think this is a more festive outfit that Lily wears like a quinceanera of sorts, she even have a sombrero hat that shows it. Honestly non of her other outfits are all that bad, it just have some ethnicity for each of them being Latin America related.

I know everyone was getting impatient for seeing some new outfits for the main cast, but I'm glad Capcom took the time to make one for each character in the main roster and that they are all high quality!

@@igerd4424 Hard disagree, while he still has those bulky forearms it actually compliments better in this design than his default one a lot more. Thanks to the RE engine Luke looks wayyyyyy 10 times better in 6 than he did in 5.
There's even more lore to this design as well for the others on the Street Fighter 6 website where they show off the artwork designs and the inspiration towards them.
It's just his SF5 main costume, really. Should've been his classic alternate in this game from the beginning.

We also have to remember Luke wasn’t even meant to be in 5, but they added him and others because they needed more time for 6.
Remember his V-trigger and how they said “it refers to some new stuff we’re adding in 6”
As a Luke and Lily main, It's cool to see Luke in his sfv alt with better graphics, and AWESOME to see Lily get such a great-looking skin!

Glad they gave Kimberly an actual ninja costume alt. It looks dope(especially the hair style). It's also kinda cool to see Luke's SF5 design as an alt(even though I know a lot of people hate it)

Honestly i think Capcom will get more newcomers than current veterans. Characters from 3, 1, Alpha or even some Rival Schools characters than characters returning from 4 and 5
At the most a bundle of all the new outfits should have between £20-25, even that would still be vastly too expensive in my opinion. £80 for all 18 outfits is absolutely DISGUSTING! What planet are Capcom on?!

$5 per costume would actually be pretty reasonable considering that characters cost $7.
